(BROOKLYN’S RETURN)

~EMPTY CLASS

Ryan has been in the empty class and didn’t attend his classes, he does the way he likes since it’s his parent’s school and nobody can control him.

He heard the bell ring and he knew it was lunchtime.

He made to leave when someone entered and he frowned immediately.

” Ryan please I’m sorry,I don’t want you like this.”

“Really? If you really do not want me like this, you shouldn’t help Brooklyn to cheat on me!” Ryan yelled.

” I’m guilty of that, please forgive me so I can have peace of mind.” He said looking pained.

” I really don’t want you to have peace of so am ain’t forgiving you, you ruined our friendship of 5 years!” Ryan said leaving him in the empty class.

 

~CAFETERIA

At the cafeteria, Blair and Tristan are eating and acting lovingly making everybody’s attention on them.

Skylar was watching them sadly and Ella and Isabel noticed her countenance.

” Skylar what is it?” Ella asked.

” As how? There’s nothing to worry about.” She said and faked a smile.

” You shouldn’t lie to your friends, Girl code remember? Tell me why you look sad.” Isabel asked concernedly.

” Just wondering how they started dating.” She said referring to Blair and Tristan.

” It was really shameful to watch, Blair asked him out on his first day here and he foolishly agreed,” Ella replied and was about to say more when Zion came in she couldn’t stop staring but he wasn’t looking her way but Skylar’s!

🗣Zion please come sit over here
🗣 There’s enough space for you
🗣Sit with me, please

Zion ignored them and he went to the trio’s table taking a seat beside Skylar.

” Hello pretty,” Zion said and Ella got up angrily and left the cafeteria.

Skylar and Isabel also got up wondering what happened and also left there.

” What happened to All,” Skylar asked.

” She has a crush on Zion but he doesn’t even look her way so I guess she’s sad about that ” Isabel explained.

” Oh..” muttered Skylar.

” Common let’s go look for her before the bell rings,” Isabel said and they went searching for her till they saw her in the restroom.

” Here you are, we’ve been looking for you,” Skylar said.

” Yeah, I was sad because Zion talked to you and not me. I have always tried to catch his attention but I guess he doesn’t notice me but he noticed you even on your first day.” Ella said sadly.

” Oh dear, don’t worry I will help you by letting him notice you,” Skylar said.

” But how?”

” I will become his friend and if we are friends he will surely be friends with you guys,is that okay by you?” Skylar asked and Ella nodded.

~REYES RESIDENCE

Skylar got home from school, greeted the workers she met on the way and went to her room.

” Ryan didn’t even attend his classes? What a boy!” Skylar wondered.

She left her room and knocked on Ryan’s door but no answer from inside so she decided to open it.

She opened it and was surprised to see nobody in the room except for used bottles and cigarettes.

Skylar set to arrange the room, she got to the window side and peered out, she saw Ryan in the pool swimming.

” Wow, there’s a swimming pool here? Will check it out later.” She said to herself as she left the room determined to find out why he was like this.

~REYES HIGH ~ NEXT DAY

Skylar was in her class with her friends and luckily Ryan was also in class but sitting all alone resting his head on the desk.

” I wonder why Zion isn’t at school yet?” Ella sulked.

” Something might have happened preventing him to come.”

Isabel reasoned and whatever Skylar was going to say was interrupted by a commotion outside the class, almost everyone was screaming.

” Why is everyone screaming?” Skylar wondered.

Almost everybody was out except the three friends and Ryan who seems unbothered.

The scream died down and start the door was standing a very beautiful girl, she was tall with a nice shape.

” Hello, bitches!” She smiled brightly.

Ryan’s eyes are wide open, he could identify that voice anywhere.

He raised his head up and turned to where the voice was coming from and he was shocked to see Brooklyn who was already looking at him.

” Brooklyn?” Ryan called out and she smiled.

” Yes Ryan, I’m glad you still remember me.” She said walking towards him but he quickly left the class.

🗣Woah…
🗣 He’s really not happy to see her?
🗣 What a pity!

Skylar was confused about what just happened.

” Who is that?” She asked out of curiosity.

” Ryan’s ex-girlfriend,” Ella replied and Skylar realized.

” What happened that led to their break up,” Skylar asked again.

” She cheated on him with his best friend, the news really went viral last year,” Isabel replied.

” I guess the betrayal really affected him and resorted to drinking,” Ella added and Skylar nodded her head understandingly.

Brooklyn frowned when he left the class.

” Hey, bestie.” It was Blair and she hugged her in excitement.

She and Blair have been best friends before she left the country.

” Why didn’t you inform me that you will be coming?” She asked feigning annoyance.

” Sorry just wanted to surprise y’all.” She replied.

” I really missed you, partner in crime.” They chuckled.

Her eyes fell on Aaron who winked at her secretly and she smiled.

Skylar had a lot going on in her mind.

I should go check up on him since am his personal maid, should be there for him, she thought.

” Excuse me, girls.” She said and stood up.

Unknowingly she bumped into Brooklyn on her way.

” Are you blind? How dare you make your filthy body touch mine?”

” Huh?” That was what Skylar could say.

” Apologize now!”
