CHAPTER 50&51

 

Rhea POV
~MAIN ROAD
I and my mum were now on the street walking to nowhere in particular with bags on my two hands.

“Rhea, why were we sent out?” My mum asked confused.

“Umm… it’s nothing, she’s just a little angry but don’t worry we are going to be fine.” I said trying my best not to burst into tears in front of her.

A familiar car drove towards us and stopped, the occupant came out of the car, it was Derek.

“Derek, what are you doing here?” He came closer.

“Oh common, I was worried when I didn’t see you at school and you weren’t picking up your calls so I decided to check up on you. Why are you here with bags in your hands?” He asked.

“Mrs. Salvador sent me parking, she accused me of stealing her things,I won’t even do that.” I couldn’t control the tears anymore as I let it pour.

“Come here.” He pulled me into his arms comforting me.

“It will be fine since there’s no place for you guys to go, why don’t you come to my house and live with my mum and Ava.”

“No Derek, we are going back to our own house.” I protested.

“Oh common, that place isn’t saved anymore, remember your mum was attacked there because she was pushed making her lose her memory,” Derek said and immediately my mum held her head.

“What’s wrong?”

“Rhea, I remember everything now, everything.” She said and I smiled happily.

“That’s a relief, Mrs Gilbert can you remember who pushed you?” Derek asked.

“Yes! Yes! A girl came to my house to warn me to tell my daughter to stay away from her man.” My mum said and I and Derek glanced at ourselves knowingly.

“She said she’s Ciara Bernstein.” She asked.

” I should have known, I’m so going to ki*ll her,” I said angrily.

“Don’t worry, we are going to sort everything out, let’s get you guys home first.”

Ava POV

~JUNIOR BLOCK
I looked up and I met Richard in front of me, shock was written all over my face.

This guy doesn’t talk to me at all so I’m surprised he’s here.

“Hi Ava, can you borrow me your pen, mine is finished.” He said but I didn’t say anything as I kept looking at him until he tapped me again and I came back to my senses.

“Oh pen, here it is,” I said giving him the first thing my hand touched and he laughed making me wonder.

“I said pen not candy sweet but I will take them.” He said and I blushed, he was really talking to me.

“Don’t worry about the pen, it was an excuse to talk to you, you look lonely.” He said, what the f**k Is going on? He never cared about me, why now?

“Oh, thanks.”

“If you have a problem, please don’t hesitate to inform me.”

Rhea POV
~SCOTT RESIDENCE
We got to the Mansion, it was so beautiful just like Mrs Salvador’s house.

Workers greeted Derek as we entered and he replied politely.

We got to the living room and we met a woman already there.

“Mum.” Derek went to greet her and she started at us.

“Who are they?” She asked and I became nervous.

“My girlfriend and her mother, mum.” He introduced and the woman smiled brightly at us.

“Good to see you, so you are the Rhea my son is do head over heels for?” She asked and I nodded shyly.

“Don’t be shy please, you are her mother right?” Mrs Gilbert nodded.

“Mum there will be staying with us for some time, is that okay with you?”

“Why not, the house is too big for me and I don’t have anyone to talk to since you and Ava don’t usually have my time.” She said and she hugged my mum.

“At least I have Rhea’s mum to talk to now.” She said and we smiled, his mum is so nice.

“Let me call the maid to take them to their rooms.” She said.

Derek POV
After the maid took them to their room, I decided to talk to my mum.

“Mum are you faking to like them, remember you want me for Ciara and I was thinking you are going to flare up and I brought them unannounced.”

“Derek, why will I fake it? I never liked Ciara, it was just because her mum was blackmailing me but that won’t happen anymore because I also have what to blackmail her with. I’m really happy for you my dear.” She hugged me.

I’m really happy my mum accepted Rhea

Evie POV

~SENIOR BLOCK
Gosh, I’m really finding it to move on, Rox why?

“Hey, loser.” Without looking up, it knew it was my enemy’s voice, Ciara.

“What do you want?”

“Nothing, I just want to sympathize with you, your boyfriend really dumped you for a lower class girl.” She said she was really looking for trouble this time.

The whole class has gathered to look at us, they are always like this. Thank God Rox isn’t here.

“Ciara, we are both in the same category actually, you should look at yourself first. Derek also dumped you for a girl better than you.”

“How dare you?” She made to slap me but someone held her hand.

“Don’t you ever lay your filthy hand on her!” He said and he faced me.

“Are you okay?” I nodded.

Ciara POV
I stormed out of the class angrily and I headed to my car bringing out my phone to dial my mum.

I can’t be the loser, I won’t lose to Rhea ever!

“Mum I need your help, I need you to help me deal with someone.”
