CHAPTER 52&53

 

Rhea POV
~HIDEOUS HANGOUT
I opened my eyes slowly and I discovered I was in a strange room.

My hands were tight to my back and my mouth was gabbed making it impossible for me to talk and I couldn’t move because I was tied to a chair.

WHY AM I HERE?
IS THIS A DREAM?

I only remembered me being on my way to school with one of Mrs Scott’s drivers and we were hijacked by some dangerous-looking men and they placed something on my nose making me unconscious and now am here!

Why am I always in trouble? I heard the door creak open and I turned to look at an unfamiliar woman coming towards me.

“Hello there Rhea, Am Mrs Bernstein.” She said and realization dawned on me, isn’t that Ciara’s surname or am I wrong? Why will she get me kidnapped?

“Oh my bad, you can’t talk because your mouth is covered.” She said and she removed it from my mouth and I exhaled.

“Please ma, why am I here?”

“My daughter Ciara said you took her boyfriend from him and you are a hindrance to me in achieving my aim because I want Ciara to get married to Derek for my selfish reasons.” She said.

“Ma please don’t be like that, I love Derek so much.”

“Shut up! He’s my daughter’s man, you get it!” She slapped my right cheek angrily.

“I will make sure you are killed, I have done it before and I won’t hesitate in trying it out again.” She said and I shivered at the thought of being killed.

What kind of mother is she? I guess Ciara got her bad behaviour from her

“Please don’t ki*ll me?” I pleaded.

“I won’t ki*ll you now, I want you to suffer first and then you will join Mrs Romeo in heaven.” She said and I squinted coz the surname is familiar.

“You don’t need to stress yourself, am talking about Roland’s mum.” She said and I gasped.

“I sent an assassin to ki*ll her.” She shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal, she’s a killer!

“But why will you ki*ll someone you can’t create?” I was already pissed off.

“My husband was falling for her so I had to act fast by killing her before she snatches him from me.”

What a lame excuse! She killed her fellow human life because of jealousy.

“Poor Roland was so sad, so touching to watch.” She said in a mocking tone.”

I need to get out of here, Roland must know of this but how?

“Am telling you this so you can know I’m not a nice person at all, am dangerous to mingle with and will stop at nothing until I get what I want and again you can’t escape here.” She said and I almost cried.

 

Kenzie POV
DRMR HIGH SCHOOL
~SENIOR BLOCK
Rhea wasn’t at school yesterday and now today?

Our final exam is just next week and she needs to be here to write it and we graduate from high school forever but she’s nowhere to be found.

Derek is also not here!

“Hey, why are you so stressed out?” It was Mikel’s voice and I smiled brightly turning towards him.

“Is it about Rhea?” I nodded

“Don’t worry am sure she’s fine, my girlfriend is looking so hot today.” He said and I blushed, he hasn’t even asked me out already, he was calling me his girlfriend but I love it.

“Thanks, Michelle.” I called his full name and he smiled.

“Nobody knows that’s my full name except my friends so please don’t tell anyone I bear that.” He said and I giggled.

“Mikel is funny, I prefer Michelle.” I stuck out my tongue and he smiled, by now people are already staring at us but I don’t care.

“Can I take you on a date tonight?” He asked and I nodded immediately.

“Okay good, will pick you up at 7.” He pecked my cheeks making me go reddened.

 

Evie POV
I went over to the balcony to clear things on my mind and I smiled when I met Roland there already.

“Knight in shining armour,” I called and he looked up at me before he smiled brightly.

“Evie, Please come sit with me.” I went to sit with him.

“Thanks for yesterday though,” I said.

“It’s my pleasure baby, so are you still waiting on Rox?”

“Rox, he’s a past now. I have decided to move on from him, he seems happy with the girl anyway so who am I to disrupt that.”

“You are really matured unlike Ciara, come to think of it, she isn’t here?” He said and I reasoned.

“, It’s a good thing anyway, I hate seeing her foolish face,” I said and he chuckled.

“What’s funny?” He stopped and became serious immediately making me giggle.

“You are really cute.” He complimented but I couldn’t help but blush.

“Stop teasing me.”

“Am sure, it’s the plain truth.” He said and he held my face accessing my features.

“You are really cute, trust me coz I mean it .”

 

Ava POV
~JUNIOR BLOCK
Why is my brother not in school yet? This is lunchtime already.

Even though Rhea isn’t here yet, I remembered seeing her getting into the car this morning on her way to school while I stayed home longer.

“Anything bothering you?” I recognized the voice immediately and I blushed.

“Oh Richie, it’s nothing.” I waved it with my hands.

“Wow, I have a nickname now, why don’t I find one for you? How about Candy since you offered me a candy sweet yesterday.” He said and I couldn’t help but smile.

“It’s not bad, am so happy you are now talking to me,” I asked but he just glared at me.

“I do love to talk to you but your behaviour made me distance myself.” He said and I understood immediately.

“Ouch, anyway it’s all good now.”

“Can you come with me somewhere tonight?” He asked gently.

“Where?”

“To the cinema, there’s a particular movie I wanna watch but I don’t want to watch it alone.” He said cutely.

“Why not, what time?”

“7 pm.” He replied smiling at me and I can feel butterflies in my stomach.

I’m so in love…
