CHAPTER 48&49

 

Rhea POV
~SALVADOR’S RESIDENCE
We successfully got my mum to the mansion after the doctor gave her a sedative injection since she doesn’t recognize me and I really feel sad about that.

After tucking her into bed, her eyes opened slowly looking strangely at her surroundings then her eyes landed at me frowning.

“Who are you?!” She flared.

“Am Rhea, you got into a little accident, i can’t possibly leave an aged woman all alone so I decided to help you out.” I lied but it’s partly true since the doctor said we shouldn’t force her to remember anything so that she will regain her memory naturally.

“O-kay.” She only said holding her head slightly.

“Mum, I mean ma’am are you okay?” She nodded.

FEW MINUTES LATER
I came out of the room after taking care of her, I just pray she regains it so she can tell us who did that to her.

“Hey Rhea, how is your mum faring now?” Dora asked coming closer to me.

“Getting better but she hasn’t regained any of her memory but with time she will,” I said.

“I pray so too, I heard you are going to get married to Master Mikel.” She said.

“Oh, that.” I nodded slightly.

“Anyway, I’m out to get something.” She said and left.

Strangely am only left at home with my mum, I wonder where the maids went to.

I went back to my room missing Derek already and I cuddled my bed, I didn’t even know when I slept off.

~THE NEXT DAY
I woke as a result of a hot slap on my cheek by Mrs Salvador.

“How dare you? So you are only been pretending all this while! I trusted you a lot, I even liked you more than the others but what did you do? You betrayed my trust!” She blasted at me leaving me confused.

“Mrs…” I was cut short by a hot slap on my other cheek and tears rolled down my eyes.

“Don’t dare mention my name with that mouth full of lies. Why are my Documents a bag of money in your room?” She said shoving them to my face.

” I wouldn’t have doubted you but this proved me wrong.” She took my phone and showed me a message.

📱 Now I have won the trust of Mrs Salvador, I will make sure I rob her of everything she owns and she won’t suspect me a bit📱

I didn’t even type this! Am I being framed?

“Now you see you have been found out, before I come back I want you and your mother out of my house!” She said and left and Dora showed up.

“Rhea, why did you do this? You are the only one that has access to Mrs Salvador’s room and again you were the only one at home yesterday evening. Why did you do this?”

I didn’t even reply to her, I only cried out tears.

Kenzie POV
Why is Rhea not here yet? Even Mikel is here.

“Do you know where Rhea is? Been calling but she isn’t picking.” I told him.

“She should be on her way, don’t worry too much and Kenzie.” He called.

“I love you too but as usual it’s complicated.” He said and I couldn’t contain my joy as I hug him.

Ava POV
JUNIOR BLOCK
I decided to follow Rhea’s advice and most of my classmates were surprised about this,I even apologized to the people I wronged.

Senior Evie entered our class, she’s Richard’s sister and I also like her.

She waved at me and I reciprocated then she moved closer to me.

“How are you, Ava?”

“Am doing good.”

“Glad to hear that.” She patted my shoulder and left.

I laid my head on the desk when someone tapped me and I looked up only to be shocked.
