“You can’t just tell me that. Going to Africa, for what exactly…And by the way, where were you last night” Mr. Patrick asked furiously

“Dad, come on…I’m not a kid any longer, I told you I went to see a friend and I spent the night there” Dave whined. He was telling his father about his trip to visit Africa
“Cut that out man, I know what I passed through just to look for you when you went missing for about a week. Dave you are my only child, I can find the others” he yelled

“Hmm, ok dad I’m sorry okay, fine lemme explain” he stated, explaining all that has been going on
“So that’s it dad, we are going to this village ermmm o..ruk…a”
“Oruka?? B…ut..”

“Yes yes Oruka, that’s what she called it, wait, do you know that place dad, you are from Africa right you should know there…..” he muttered, as his dad immediately went silent
“Dad, what’s wrong, do you know that village”

“That’s my hometown, it’s been a while I heard of it” Mr. Patrick replied
“Serious…wow, such a coincidence. I never knew you were from such a devilish village, gosh that demon almost killed me, he claimed to be the husband of my friend, saying that we should release her body and bring it to the shrine and so on, gosh…that was the first time I will be coming in contact with some African demons” he muttered, nonstop while his father listened to his talks in deep thought.

“Who could that girl be, he only knows one oracle, and that is Oruka….how did his son manage to know about all this” he thought

“What is the name of the girl?”
“Oh her name is Elizabeth, but they call her Eliza.” Dave responded, as his father stared at him in shock
“Elizabeth??” he asked
“Yes, dad you are scaring me, do you know her??”

“When are you going to see her in the hospital, I will like to see her myself”
“Ok, but dad, why do you suddenly wanna see her, I mean, do you know her…because I guess she is also from Oruka village” Dave mumbled
“Just take me to her” he said and left for his room

“Ok dad” Dave said, thinking deeply why his dad suddenly develop interest in seeing Elizabeth, does he know her, he thought

*THE FOLLOWING DAY*
*At the hospital*
<Eliza’s ward>

“Hey, my dear friend. It’s a pity that you couldn’t witness the wondrous miracle God perform. Oruka has been destroyed already, but why ain’t you waking up. Please wake up, we really miss you” Maria muttered as a tear escaped her eyes. They are all present in her ward to see her for the last time before going on their trip. Dave and his dad were both outside the ward.

“Dad, I thought you said you wanted to see her, why are you standing out her” he whined

“I don’t think I can do that, I feel uneasy” he muttered shuddering
“Dad? is there something you are not telling me, come on speak up” His dad couldn’t respond, his eyes lingered into the ward.

Eric immediately received a call as his phone buzzed; he picked up the call as he was stunned at the caller.
“Hello, Eric I’m already at the hospital, where is her ward” Juliet voice came up

“Oh hello ma, erm it’s ward 30” he muttered and glance at the others as they gave him this questioning look.
“Ok, I’m on my way” she muttered and dropped the call

“Who is that” Marai asked
“It’s Eliza’s mother” he replied
“Wait, but did she tell you that she is coming” Cassie asked

“No she didn’t” he replied
“Ok, guys the flight is ready, we are all leaving first thing tomorrow, perhaps 9:00. Hope we are all ready” Tony asked

“Yeas sure, but wait where is Dave, I saw him a while ago” Dominick said
“Yea, he was with his dad or so” Anna muttered

“Fine, I heard Dorothy is tagging along too” Eric muttered
“Who is Dorothy” Maria asked
“Dorothy, wait….I don’t get it, where is she going to?’ Cassie asked

“She is coming along, don’t get it wrong, she is no longer Kamina’s friend, she is with us now. There is nothing bad with her coming with us” Dominick said

“Hope she knows what we are going there for” she asked
“Sure she does”
“Fine, everyone is set, we are all leaving tomorrow”

“No one is leaving without me” a voice muttered at they all wondered who spoke. Their attention drifted to Eliza whose eyes was wide open, as she smiled at them
“Oh no Elizabeth” they all exclaimed in shock

“You are awake, glory be to God” Maria exclaimed going to hug her, as the others joined her

“You scared us, we thought you were never coming back” tony muttered
“Thank God you are back to us” Dominick said

“I’m really gonna kick your a$$ when you are well enough, why did you sleep for that long” Cassie muttered with tears of joy in her eyes, as they all laugh at her words

Eric couldn’t wait for everyone to retreat; he removed the oxygen from her face and kissed her passionately like his life depends on it. He breaks the kiss and stared passionately into her eyes, he missed those eyes
“Thank you” he muttered
“For what” she asked grinning
“For waking up, thank you so much” he said and hugged her

“Awnn, gosh I need a girlfriend…” Tony pouted and stared at Anna, who gave him a questioning look
“We need to celebrate this, but you can’t get discharged now, you are not really strong I guess” Dominick muttered

“I am, call the doctor… I wanna leave this place, I feel strong already, I am healed. I wanna go home” Eliza muttered getting up from the bed, as they help her sit up

Juliet ran into the hospital gate with the hope of seeing her daughter. After she received the call from Eric the other time about Oruka’s threat, her mind hasn’t been at rest. She decided to take a flight and come see her daughter herself, she might be of help she thought.

Getting into the hospital, she walked along the hallway, and sighted a man with a young lad, sitting not far from the supposed ward. His face seems familiar but they didn’t notice her presence until she came closer.
“Oh no…I.. can’t believe this….Juliet?????” the man said, while his son stared at him and her likewise, perhaps surprised

“Patrick???? You?????” Juliet muttered
“Wait, Dad…do you know her too….” Dave asked as he stares at their faces
