‘ THIS MAN ‘

Of the man JESUS
GOD in the garb of humanity
who after man had sinned
left HIS glorious paradise
a throne beside HIS father.
Born of the virgin Mary
He became of flesh and blood
the Angels sung in the sky
and the heavens were merry.

Born of the seed of Abraham
a friend of GOD
the man who by faith
had embraced the promise.
But the holy seed
did not receive HIM
when he was come
being born of him
who fashioned wood.

Because of His great love for man
whom he had created
he left the abode of the GODS
in the realms light
to die a murderer’s death
setting free they that were
bound in sin
creating man’s return way
to lost EDEN.

HIS blood
which flew from His piercied side
to wash mankind clean
of their sins
white as the whitest white
in His righteousness
we are saved.

GLORY AND HONOUR
TO HIM WHO SAW IT FIT
TO SAVE HUMANITY.
