Chapter 4
KYLA
Walking into my suite late in the night, I noticed the door was unlocked, which means one thing, someone is inside. No one has the spare key to my suite except Evans, I hope my intuition isn’t right, cos I asked him not to come close to this suite until he finish serving his suspension.

To my surprise, not a single light was on in the building, raising my suspicion. Turning on my flashlight, I turned on the switch, illuminating the living room. If he is trying to cover up his track of being present in the house, he should as well try to clear off the smell of his cologne, cos I can smell him vividly.

I went to the kitchen first to make a cup of warm tea, ignoring the presence of a being in my room. I’m not even sure if he is the one, just my thoughts, cos he would be. The sound of footsteps tapping from behind called my attention to a corner in the kitchen. There he sat on a chair, with his palms clamped. He wore a navy blue hoodie, shedding his face away from the light.

“I thought I gave you an order” I voiced out. I heard him sigh, getting on his feet slowly.

“You know I’m fond of breaking your rules ..I’m sorry, but…I can’t seem to keep that.” He softly resorted. I rolled my eyes, walking back to the cabinet were I had my beverages stored. I pulled out a tin of milk alongside the coffee.

“You should learn to respect orders, not minding who it’s coming from”

“I was suspended by my boss” he voiced out, bitting his lips. ” And your boss gave you conditions for your suspension” I noted. He sighed dejectedly, dropping his shoulders.

“Yes…but I’m not breaking any of the conditions” “You’re sure about that??”

“I’m not here to see the boss…I’m here to see my girlfriend” he whispered, gazing at me with those blue eyes. F**k, this guy won’t get to me. I scoffed, focusing on the coffee I intend making.

“Do you..really mean what you said about the cage fight?” He asked. “Uhnh..so what about it?”

“Kyla.. I got to know about it from Jayden, and it’s not something I expected from you to say…like, that’s signing a death wish”

“It’s a fight for life, not death” “But one has to die…are you serious about that…you really want me to die, you’re tired of me and seek for a way to get rid of me?” He asked, with pain in his eyes

“The last time I checked, I never said that. And why do you think you are gonna die?”.
“For goodness sake, I will be fighting with Bruce…that guy is brutal in fighting..I will be dead in seconds” he lamented

“It’s such a pity that you lose faith in yourself. I didn’t train you for this…this is a shame Evans” I snapped, pissed at the fact that he still looks down on himself. Silence took in for a while, none of us spoke, until after I finished up my coffee.

I walked into my room totally ignoring him, with the aim of making him know his fault. I took a quick shower, not expecting him to be in my room when I was done; not like he was gonna leave anyway.

“I’m sorry…sorry for leaving the mission ground, sorry for getting into a fight with Bruce..and I totally accept your punishment, but please..cut out the cage fight…I’m not ready for that. It’s..it’s not right. We are both members of the clan, it’s really wrong when we shed each other’s blood” He voiced out.

I went about cleaning up, listening to all that he has to say. “I know that you are really angry at me, and I’m really sorry for all I have put you through…just let’s not take this to that level” I waited for him to be done before speaking up.

“Good. Then if you both ain’t ready to fight, then you should be ready to clear out your difference, I don’t want to see you keep a long face with him anymore” I ordered. He nodded slightly, barely listening to me. His gaze was fixed on my nude body; I could faintly see the bulge in his pants.

I scoffed. “You can leave Evans” “So..you ain’t giving me anything?” He asked, smirking flirtatiously

“I don’t get” I frown. “Like a hug or kiss” he grinned, annoyingly. “In your dreams…”

“Then why are you punishing me this way…if you know you can’t satisfy me then why walk around naked” he snapped

“That’s because I just finished bathing…and this is my body, I gat right to do what I want with it. Don’t test my patience this night Evans, get out” I yelled. He scoffed, folding his fist

“Fine…I will just go meet someone else” he resorted, slamming the door to my face as he exit the room. I slump on the bed recollecting my words; was I too harsh on him, and who the hell does he want to go meet? Don’t tell me he is seeing someone else?

Location: Wolves Clan Cell
The solid bars obstructing the entrances of the cell was pulled open, revealing the quite disgusting room where their victim is; fastened to a chair with his two hands locked on the arm of the chair. Only a little ray of light from the window, high up at the lintel, lit the dark room. An awful smell hit Kyla’s nose just as she stepped into the room. It was purposely kept that way to make anyone who resides in it, uncomfortable.

Her face beamed in a smirk which deepened into a frown. The huge man held captive watched her with dizzy eyes, trying to clear off the blur in it.

“Well, well, who do we have here…” She uttered, walking closer to a table which stood a distance away at the extreme of the room. On it are harmful equipments, used for torture. She glanced through each, feeling it with her hands. She would only use these on him if he tried proving stubborn.

“What do you want with me?” The man spoke up, breathing weakly. He had probably been tortured the previous night by the guards in charge of him. After gaining consciousness, he gave them a tough time by trying to free himself off the chair; shouting and cursing all along.

“You know why you are here Gael..and even if you don’t..I believe my face do look familiar…you can’t be in my clan for no reason” she stated, walking towards where he sat. She bent slightly in front of him, staring disgustingly into his face.

“So tell me…why were you living your disgusting life, locked up in a place where no human dwell..huhn…running away from someone?” She asked, sarcastically. He grunted, emitting a foul smell from his mouth. A lump of spit from his saliva gland found a way into his mouth, as he spat it out on her face .

“F**k you, damn b!tch” he spurted out. She grimaced. Her mood changed to a deadly one. If she were to be a vampire, she would have bitten into his flesh and suck him dry.

“You really want it the hard way right…then the hard way it is..” she snapped, launching a hard blow to his face. Thr first strike broke his nose, giving chance for blood to gush out. He groaned loudly, cursing her. He wasn’t expecting her blow to be as hard as steel; even the guards’ blows didn’t have this much effect.

Pulling out a knife from her side pocket, she drilled the object into his lap, making sure it goes deep.

“Hargh….f**k it” he groaned in pains. She smirked, pulling it out. His leg shook violently, as blood gushed out of the wound.

“Tell me…where are the other members of the blood clan?” She asked. He shook his head, bitting into his lips. “Tell me now” she roared

“Go to hell b!t..” she forced the knife into his other thigh before he could complete his statement, ignoring his cries and groans.

“Stop doing this…arghh…it hurts” he exclaimed, trying to pulling his hands off the bounds. He pushed his head forward in attempt to hit her, but she was fast to dodge the hit, sending it backward with a quick punch.

“You wanna fight..show me what you’ve got…where are your comrades…where is Don” she gritted. He remained mute. She pulled out the knife, leaving a wide scar in the flesh.

“I feel like you really wanna prove stubborn…don’t worry, I won’t force you to speak…cause you surely will” she lashed.

Walking to the table, she picked up two electric pliers, hitting both to turn on its effect. She clipped each on his neck, giving that stinging pain. He grind his teeth, taking in the pain.

“Now tell me…where are the other members of the blood clan.” Her dim voice made ways into his ears, but his heart is sealed up. The brotherhood secret shouldn’t be revealed, he wouldn’t betray his clan. He raised his head to look at her, giving her the hope of expecting words from him. “They are in your f**king as***ole” he blurted out, infuriating her. She felt like killing him that instant.

Turning on the pliers, she increased the voltage to a high range, electrocuting him to his marrow. She turned it off after a while, allowing him to catch his breath. His skin was already soaked in blood and sweat, his body still shook from the effect of the electrocution.

“Are you ready to speak?” She asked, getting nothing but silence from him.
“Fine… perhaps I will just pluck your eyes out then….a blind eyes might open a dumb mouth” she gnashed. Picking up a laser, she turned it on, aiming for his eyes when he yelled out

“No..no..” he exclaimed “Are you ready to speak or go blind” she snapped
“I don’t know where the others are but…”
“F**k it….” She gritted, bringing the laser closer

“Wait..wait…I can tell you where to find one of the members..he would lead you to the others.” He gulped in, his heart beating fast. She smirked, turning off the object. “Fine..so go on…state your description”

He nodded. “I will..but be rest assured that it would be very difficult to find him. He is being protected by Lord Zuco. His name is Rodent…the IT guy” he stuttered.

The name Lord Zuco didn’t ring anything in her ears, perhaps it’s another new enemy. Well, she hopes she finds out soon.
