Standing by the window side, is a young lady in her mid twenties, sipping from a glass of wine, as she watched from the window, the people swimming in the pool below. She suddenly felt the urge to swim, only to feel the cold hands of a man, holding her waist. He trailed kisses down her neck, and caress her body likewise.

“Not now Fred” she muttered, pulling his hands off her grip. She felt disgusted by him, ever since their first sex. He doesn’t perform to her expectations, and to crown it all, he doesn’t last long in bed. She suddenly miss her ex-husband’s d**k. The dude is loaded, and makes her feel like a woman; but she was so foolish to choose riches over him, having many men to satisfy her when the urge arises.

“Come on babe, you re starving me” the man pouted, licking his lips as he watch her bare butt, clad in just a string bikini bottom. She exhaled, walking to the other window; she wasn’t in the mood, and he got her point. Just then, his phone rang, he went to answer it, giving her a brief peace of mind.

“bas***d” she cursed, walking towards where her phone was kept. A message appeared on the screen, from Claire, her best friend.

“Guess who I saw today” it stated, with a surprise emoji. She smirked. Claire the gossiper. Sitting comfortably on the couch, she diced into the message app, testing her back, and got an immediate reply.

“Who did you see eagle eyes” she texted. “Who else if not the well known billionaire in Canada, I think he is here for the conference meeting too..gosh, he looks so hot. You won’t resist him this time babe, he has class now” Claire replied. Her heart skipped a bit, who is she referring to? She thought

“Which billionaire?” She asked. “Who else if not your ex-husband..mehn..babe you messed up by leaving that guy, he is fully loaded” she noted. The lady sighed, dropping the phone

“So Luciano is finally in Mexico..hmm” she smirked, walking to stand before the large mirror in the room. She isn’t looking bad after all; her curves and a$$ has become larger than before; even her skin is radiant. No man would ever resist her, instead she use and dumb them as per the playgirl that she is.

“Laura, you need to be smart” she winked, giving her butt a quick pat.

Babe’s POV
It’s been barely a week since Luciano left, and I’m beginning to feel empty; I feel bored to the bones, having no one to talk to. Not like I don’t chat with mum and Helen, but the space Luciano has taken in my life is totally different, and now that he is away, that space feels empty.
My mind flashed to Morris, I can’t believe he decided to leave after all, was I that harsh to him, cos I know he left because of me, even if Luciano tried to cover up the truth, telling me he only left to start up his own company.

I wish I wasn’t that harsh, I wish I had opened up to him from the beginning, perhaps we would have sorted this out. I hated this life of idleness so much. After having this baby, I will begin my modeling job fully.

“Sis, ain’t you coming?” Helen called from the living room. Ops, I think Angel is ready for school, I need to get something from the mall after dropping her at school. Luciano had made provisions for us, giving us guards and drivers to take us wherever we want.

Walking down the aisle in the mall, I managed to pick out the necessary things I needed, mostly the stuffs for my unborn baby. I tried reaching the top of shelf to get something beyond my reach, only for it to be taken quickly by another hand. I frown, trying to confront the fellow, only to see the strange guy, holding it out for me to take. I collected it, glaring at him

I turned to leave, but he called my name. “Babe”

“Why are you stalking me again…you want me to call the cops” I lashed out, gaining more momentum when the guard watching over me came closer, but didn’t interfere in our talk, perhaps he thought I was just talking to the guy.

“Babe please just hear me out” Harry pleaded. I scoffed, folding my arms. Does this guy knows about Lucian’s absence in the country, why would he suddenly appear when Luciano is away.

“What else do you want from me?” I snapped

“Babe…I know you are angry with me now..and I’m sorry for everything I have done to you. Look, I know you can’t remember, but I actually was the reason you are alive today” he noted. I scoffed again.

“And what’s that suppose to mean?” I asked. He explained to me how I got knocked out by a motorcycle after which I passed out, having a cut on my skull. How he took me to the hospital and paid for my bills.

“I loved you so much Babe, I was there for you. I don’t know why your mum decided to take you away. I have been looking for you ever since you left the hospital, it wasn’t easy for me to let you go, especially with my unborn child.” He noted. I know that this is one of his lies, and even if a truth is in it, I won’t go back to him, his aura doesn’t portray anything good, In fact, he has a wife.

“Go back to your wife Mr. Pierce and leave me alone with my life” he scoffed. “You mean that b***h that tried hurting you the other day, she isn’t my wife, just some hungry b***h, I need you Babe..please come back to me. We are meant to be together, we and our child.”

“We have nothing in common Harry, and one more thing, the child in me isn’t yours, get that” I spat, turning to leave.

“You are joking right, wait, you wanna take my child to that bas***d huh,” he snapped referring to Luciano. This angered me. I turned swiftly landing a hot slap across his face. “Don’t you dare call my boyfriend a bas***d, you are the bas***d here…” I yelled out, creating a scene. He grabbed my hand as I was about leaving, this time the guard intervened.

“Don’t you dare touch her…get lost man” he roared, walking hastenly towards us. Harry let go of me, shifting back as the guard approaches.

“You will regret ever doing this Babe” he whispered, but I heard him clearly. Oh God, save me from this monster
“Are you alright ma’am?” The guard asked. I nodded, shaken to my bones. What if I wasn’t with a guard, what would he have done to me.

Luciano’s POV
Today, being the third day of my arrival to Mexico, is the day set for the conference meeting as we were told. I arrived the location on time, being directed to the right floor by Mr. Seth, who is as well one of the board members. “You are welcome Mr. Pavarotti” he greeted as we exchanged handshake.

I received his pleasantries well, as he introduced me to other people in the hall. Just then, a young lady walked towards us with a canny smile on her face, she wore a sunshade that only aided her beauty, but wouldn’t cover up the face I hate to see. I recognize her at one glance, that smile she had is still the same.

“Ermm, meet Laura Jonathan, a member of the trustees board” he noted. She stretched forth her hand for a handshake.

“Hello Luciano” she muttered. I gladly ignored her hand, wearing a proud look. Clearing my throat, I spoke out to Mr. Seth

“Erm, Mr. Seth, please I would like to meet the fellow I would be working directly with on this business course” I muttered. I could see the look on his face as he pointed at the b***h.
“Err sir, Laura here has been chosen to…”

“I need someone else” I muttered, leaving the scene. I could feel her eyes boring holes into my back. Well, this is only the beginning, she will get back all she had done to me in thousand folds.
