<HOSPITAL>

Catalina ran in the hospital in tears with Frederick running after her. She barged in Aubrey’s ward to see her sitting on bed, surrounded by her family and friends

Aubrey had a bandage round her head as she cried non stop, not even her friends could console her.

She looked up and when her eyes met with Catalina, she immediately sprang up the bed and rushed to her.

“Catalina! Catalina! It’s Calvin,,, some men suddenly barged in and they took him away.. They even shot him! Calvin is hurt,, he’s…he’s” Aubrey broke down in tears.

Catalina’s knees gave up and she went down in tears. Her mom left them and now Calvin?

All these just confirmed her suspicions.. It’s definitely Franklin who’s after her and he wants to get to her by taking those she loves

Frederick looked at her and folded his fists tightly. He walked out of the ward and brought out his phone to make a call

“Mr Reynolds?” The police officer sounded.

“Proceed with what I told you last week.. Something smells fishy” Frederick said

“Okay Mr Reynolds we’re on that” The police officer said and hung up

Frederick brought down his phone and glared at nothing in particular. He actually visited the police station and had a talk with them.

Catalina was still crying when her phone suddenly beeped. She brought it out to check the message

COME AT THE ABANDONED FACTORY BY 7. MAKE SURE YOU COME ALONE IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR BROTHER ALIVE, ONE WORD TO FREDERICK AND HE’S A GONER

Catalina’s eyes widened and she looked up, before looking at Frederick who just walked in the ward.

<TATIANA’S PLACE>

“Let me go!! Don’t touch me!” Calvin kept struggling with the men as they tied him on the bed.

His wounded leg was still bleeding and it hurt like crazy.

“Poor boy… If you didn’t try to resist then this wouldn’t have happened to you”

Calvin stopped struggling when he heard the voice of a lady walking in the room. His eyes widened when Tatiana came to view with a smirk dancing on her lips

“Ta… Tatiana?” He stuttered

“Oh so dad has already told you about me.. Wow, that old man will never cease to amaze me.” Tatiana said and chuckled before sitting down on the edge of the bed

A glare settled on Calvin’s face and he clenched his jaw.

“Are you insane? Why are you doing all these!! Let me go right this instant!!” Calvin said and Tatiana began laughing.

“Oh boy… Do you honestly think you’re in a position of giving me orders to follow? You should be begging me to spare your life. Oh and you asked me why I’m doing all these… Tell me, when you find out that your father cheated on your mom… Will you be happy? Will you be happy growing in a family where your father is constantly obsess with his mistress? The answer is no, so be a good boy and pay for your mother’s sin” Tatiana said.

A maid walked in with a first aid kit and she handed it to Tatiana with shaky hands before leaving.

“I figured out it’ll not be sisterly for me to allow you to díe with a bullet stuck in your foot so let me help you out” Tatiana said and pulled up his trouser but he kicked her hand away and Tatiana slightly bruised her finger with the syringe she was holding

“Don’t touch me!!” He gritted his teeth

Tatiana looked at her bruised finger then at Calvin. She smirked but the smirk disappeared the next second as a deadly glare settled on her face

Like flash she grabbed Calvin by neck, pinning him hard on the bed as she straddled him.

Calvin coughed as he gasped for air.

“I was planning for you to díe later but don’t get on my nerves coz I might reduce the number of hours you have left on earth” Tatiana growled and smiled the next minute.

“You’re really handsome.. Too bad we’re related I would have had you for dinner” She smiled and Calvin struggled but his hand and legs were tied.

“Haa… I wonder how your mother would have felt when she díed. It must have been really painful, when your whole body is consumed with fire and you scream for help but no one comes to help” Tatiana said and Calvin’s eyes widened

“You.. You kílled my mother?” Calvin stuttered

“The one and only” She smirked

“B*tch!! I’m going to ki*ll you!? How could you!! I hate you!! I hate you!!” Calvin began struggling madly as he looked at Tatiana with red teary eyes.

Tatiana laughed and got off him before leaving the room while laughing

Frederick and Catalina could be seen driving to the police station. Catalina bit her nail as she was lost in thoughts, thinking about the text message she got earlier.

“Lina… Lina… Lina!!”

Catalina jolted and turned to Frederick who was driving.

“Huh?”

“Is something the matter?” Frederick asked.

“Oh, uh… I’m fine” She muttered slowly and Frederick couldn’t help but crease his brows.

They got to the police and immediately headed to the officer’s office

“Oh! Mr Frederick you arrived just on time. Please come check this out” The officer said and Frederick walked to him with Catalina.

“Here’s the CCTV footage we got the day Miss Watson díed. From the footage, you could see someone clearly planted a bomb around the house” The officer said and Catalina’s eyes widened

“So someone really did that” Catalina muttered.

“Yes, and we think that that person who did that is the same person after your brother’s life… Our prime suspect now is Franklin Coleman and Cora Coleman but the problem now is we can’t find them,, like they disappeared completely” The police said

Catalina bit her lips as she felt uneasy when she looked at the text again. Could it really be Franklin?

“Ex.. Excuse me,, I’ll be back” Catalina dropped her phone on the table and went to use the restroom

Frederick watched her leave without saying anything.

<HOSPITAL>

Nelson could be seen running to a particular ward. When Alice family called him that she had woken up, he literally ran all the way here.

His life now is a complete mess with Sarah’s déad and Calvin’s disappearance and this was the first good news he heard for weeks now.

He barged in the ward and met her sitting on her bed with her parents beside her. She was staring blankly at places with a bandage round her head.

Nelson slowly walked to her and held her hand. She looked at him like how a someone will look at a stranger

“A.. Alice?” He called.

“Who’s Alice? What.. What I’m I doing here? Who are you?” She asked at once, looking around

Nelson’s shoulder fell as he stared at her. So the thing she feared most finally came to pass.

He didn’t know when a drop of tear fell from his eyes. He squeezed her hand and kissed it

“Alice..” He called slowly.

“Dummy”

Nelson’s eyes opened and he slowly looked up to see Alice staring at him with a smile on her lips.

“Alice?” He called

“Can’t believe you fell for my acting.. I can win an oscar with that right?” Alice chuckled.

“Alice!” Nelson called again and immediately pulled her in his arms.

“Thank goodness you’re safe” Nelson mumbled.

Alice smiled and hugged him back, burying her face on his shoulder.

“I love you” She muttered and Nelson smiled.

<ABANDONED FACTORY≈7PM>

Catalina got down her car and looked around the area before walking in. After much thinking, she decided to come alone without informing anyone.

She knows clearly it’s a trap to get at her but she rather díes than let anything happen to her brother.

“It’s because of me anyways.. If I didn’t stubbornly venture all alone when mom asked me not to, I wouldn’t have eavesdrop on Franklin and Roman and all these wouldn’t have happened” She thought

Merely thinking about every thing, brought tears to her eyes.

She walked in the factory and couldn’t help but look around, the place was so dark. The lights suddenly came on and she blocked her eyes.

She slowly opened it and looked around.

“You really came..” Sounds of heels were heard.

Catalina turned to the direction and her eyes widened when she saw Tatiana standing beside Calvin with Franklin and Cora. Calvin’s hand were tied

“Tatiana..” Catalina gasped in shock.

“Surprised? Well you shouldn’t be..” Tatiana smirked, twirling her gun in her hand.

“Hey kiddo.. Go meet your sis” Tatiana smirked and with trembling feet, Calvin advanced to Catalina.

Catalina rushed to him and hugged him tightly.

“Thank goodness you’re alive. Are you okay? I heard you were shot, where?” Catalina asked at once.

“Run away..” Calvin whispered inaudibly.

Catalina looked up at Calvin to see he was in tears and was sweating so much.

“What did you say?” Catalina asked.

“Run away… Please” Calvin said and Catalina stared at him in confusion

Her confusion cleared when she heard something ticking. She looked down and slowly raised Calvin’s shirt up. Her eyes widened when she saw a time bomb was tightly wrapped round his tummy.

10 minutes left…

“Do you like my surprise?” Tatiana chuckled as she walked to her, twirling her gun in her fingers.

“How could you!! What wrong have I ever done to you!!” Catalina shouted in tears.

“Now is not the moment for questions… It’s time for you to choose, I will deactivate the bomb… Only if you take this then sh00t yourself with it” Tatiana smirked.

Catalina’s looked at her in tears. Tatiana smirked more and stretched the gun she’s holding towards her.

“So..?” Tatiana raised a brow.

“She’s so bad..” Cora whispered to Franklin while smiling.

“After all these I’m going to marry her” Franklin chuckled.

“I’ll sh00t myself..” Catalina muttered and Calvin’s eyes widened.

“Sis, don’t do it! No!”

Catalina slowly raised her hand to grab the gun from Tatiana.

“Catalina no!!”

They both turned to the entrance to see Frederick standing there. Tatiana’s eyes widened.

“Miss Tatiana, you’re under arrest for the déath of Miss Sarah Watson.. This place is surrounded there’s no way out for you!” The cops said, surrounding her.

“Frederick..” Tatiana muttered as Frederick glared at her with nothing but loathe in his eyes

Well he really saw her at the scene of Sarah’s déath but he acted like he didn’t. That pushed him to carry on his investigation and when Catalina left her phone earlier to go to the restroom, he quickly unlocked it since he knows her password

He checked her inbox and when he saw the message, he quickly checked the phone number of the person who messaged Catalina and it exactly corresponded to the number Tatiana used to call him back then, confirming everything.

Tatiana looked around to see Franklin and Cora were already handcuffed.

She gritted her teeth and quickly grabbed Catalina by the hair, aiming her gun at Catalina’s head.

The cops immediately pointed the gun at her.

“No! Don’t sh00t!” Frederick immediately said for fear it might take Catalina too

“Go on,, sh00t me! And I won’t hesitate to blow up her f*cking head!!” Tatiana screamed.

“Now… Move aside, or else” She muttered while smirking.

She slowly began advancing to the exit while holding Catalina. Catalina frowned and suddenly elbowed her on the tummy

“Owch!” That made Tatiana to release her.

Catalina made to snatch the gun from her but Tatiana held it tightly and like that they began struggling for the gun till..

Tatiana pulled the trigger

Catalina gasped loudly as her eyes widened…
