A year later

“Love, a little help here. Could you get me the feeding bottle of Alex?” Celina said while changing a baby’s diaper.

Yeah you guessed it right. Celina gave birth to a very handsome baby boy, Alex. Just like the father. Alex is four months old.

Derek was in the kitchen, testing the temperature of the milk to make sure that it was okay.

“I’m coming!!” He rushed into the living room and handed the bottle to Celina who carried the baby, feeding him.

Derek smiled as he watched his little family. That’s all what he ever wished for…

The world has found out that Derek is alive. He closed down his father’s company and built his own company which became a success is some months!!

Derek’s name could be heard among the most handsome and successful billionaire of the year. Well Celina also achieved her own dreams, she owns a hospital of her own and now is a mother of cute Alex!!

Once Celina finished feeding Alex, he barfed and then giggled. Derek carried him.

“Who’s the good boy…yes you are. Oh yes you are…” He played with him.

Alex giggled while clapping his hands. Derek kissed his nose and smiled.

Little Alex yawned and then rubbed his eyes. Derek began rocking him to sleep, he eventually slept off…

“Let me put him in his cot” Celina said an took the baby from him then went upstairs.

She placed the baby on his his bed and covered him then placed a kiss on his Forehead.

Derek hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.

“I have a loving wife, a cute son. What can I ask for… Yeah, I have one more request. A cute daughter” Derek smiled.

“Always silly” Celina pinched his nose.

He smiled and pushed her on the bed.

“Always beautiful” He whispered as his hands went under her dress rubbing her bare waist.

Celina dipped her hands in his hair and pulled him closer, kissing him. Derek kissed her back too.

“Let’s make some babies. A cute daughter this time” Derek smirked, removing her shirt…

“Where are you taking me to?” Belle giggled as Nepson helped her get down the car.

He had her eyes bandaged such that she won’t see anything.

“It’s a surprise love” He replied and smiled.

He held her hand, guiding her to a direction. They stopped and Nepson released her.

“Open your eyes.” He said.

She untied the bandage from her eyes and looked around. The place was dark.

Suddenly the lights came on and red balloons began falling on Belle. She gasped in surprise as she saw the beautifully decorated hall.

“Surprise!!!” All their friends came out of their hiding, except Sapphire, Derek, Cameron and Celina who were not there. Some of Nepson friends were also there including some of his workers.

“What’s happening…” She murdered looking around.

A beautiful poster was super imposed on the wall and I LOVE YOU was written on it. She blushed as she already knew who’s handwork it was…

“Belle…” Someone spoke.

She looked front to see Nepson smiling at her. He gallantly walked up to her and held her hand then kissed it.

“It’s been almost a year we’ve been dating now and honestly, I can’t take it no more. For how many years, I kept dreaming of us waking up together..having kids of our own..watching you sleep in my arms. Belle, I love you. Let no one make you think so, I love you so damn much and I can’t wait for you to be mine and that’s why in front of everyone here and most importantly in front of God, I kneel down here in front of everyone to ask you. Will you marry me?” Nepson knelt down and brought out a ring.

Belle wiped off her tears and nodded.

“Of course I will. I love you too very much, you don’t know how happy I’ll be to be your wife” Belle smiled and showed her hand.

He slid in the ring and then stood up then hugged her. He cupped her cheek and then kissed her tenderly as red balloons poured on them.

Next Morning**

“Bernardo, you have a visitor” A police officer said.

“Who could that be?” Louis wondered and stood up. Since he was here, only his mother came to visit him.

He was handcuffed and then walked out of his cell. People booed him as he walked to the visitors room.

He stopped on his tracks as he saw Derek, Celina and baby in Celina’s hand.

“Brother?” Louis called and looked down.

Derek smiled and walked up to him. He pulled him in for a hug. After some minutes, he pulled away.

“How are you doing Louis?” Derek asked.

Louis just looked down, guilt couldn’t permit him to look up nor to answer him.

“Derek.. ”

A drop of tear fell from his eyes. He made to kneel down but Derek pulled him up.

“Will you ever forgive me for what I’ve done to you? Will you? Derek, I’m really sorry, sorry can’t even be enough to ammend all what I’ve done.” Louis cried.

“Hey, you’re a man. Men don’t cry… Come on stop crying, it’s okay. I’ve forgiven you since, I’m not mad at you okay?” Derek rubbed his back.

Louis nodded and looked at Celina with red eyes.

“Celina-”

“Hey, I’m too emotional and I don’t wanna cry here okay? I’ve forgiven you too and I’m also sorry. I took your love for granted” Celina smiled and walked up to him.

“Here, don’t you wanna touch your nephew?” Celina handed Alex to Louis.

Louis carried him delicately and smiled. He looks a lot like Derek.

“He reminds me a lot of you when we were kids” Louis said.

Derek chuckled…

“Yeah, you’re right” Derek smiled.

They began discussing about Alex and also Derek teased Louis about his childhood.

“Time’s up” A guard said.

Louis pouted sadly…

“We’ll come visiting tomorrow. In fact everyday okay?” Derek assured him.

Louis nodded.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine” Louis smiled too.

They said their goodbyes and left. Louis was taken back to his room. He held a pure and genuine smile on his face.

Baby cries could be heard all around the house as Sapphire and Cameron ran round the house on confusion. That’s the problem with giving birth to twins.

“Cam, help me change Love’s diaper. I’m bathing Bryan.” Sapphire screamed.

Cameron nodded as he tried to change her diaper but she won’t stop crying and shaking.

“I think she’s hungry” Cameron said.

“Wait, I’m coming” Sapphire said while drying Bryan up who won’t stop making some baby sounds.

“Here, dress him up” Sapphire handed Bryan to Cameron and took Love.

Well that’s how their daily life is…

20 years later**

“Mr Louis Bernardo, I officially declare you a free man.”

Louis smiled and took the documents from the police officer. He picked up his bag and walked out of the police station.

“Freedom…” Louis smiled as the wind disheveled his hair.

“Hey bro!!” A voice called.

He looked front and was surprised to see all his family there, waiting for him. His mother, in-laws, nephew and nieces…everyone!!

“Uncle!!” Alex walked front and hugged him.

“Look at you, you’re now a grown up.” Louis smiled and patted his cheek.

Louis hugged Derek.

“Glad to have you back bro” Derek whispered

“Same here” Louis smiled.

The next person was Celina.

“Missed you” He said and smiled.

“Same here Louis” Celina replied.

He then hugged his mother and the followed by Love, Bryan, Sapphire, Cameron, Yolanda, Rudolph, Fabian and lastly Emile.

“Where’s Audrey??” Celina asked.

“I don’t know. That girl is so fond of walking around with her friends” Derek said and brought out his phone to call her.

“I’m here dad!!” A girl yelled while running to them.

She stopped while breathing heavily. Looking at her one could see she was the striking resemblance of Celina.

“Uncle. I’m so happy you’re Back!!” Audrey hugged Louis. She was 18 years old…

“Let’s go and celebrate the reunion of our big family.” Celina said.

“Don’t forget us” Belle said while coming with Nepson.

“How are you doing Louis?” Belle asked

“I’m way more better. Now that I’m with you all” He smiled.

“Come on let’s go” Derek said opening the door to his car.

Celina entered followed by his daughter who pecked his cheeks before entering and then Alex. Derek smiled as then entered too closing the door behind.

Louis entered the car with Kyra and Emile and they all drove off….

So that’s how it is…
There were a lot of ups and down. Moments of betrayal, joy, sadness, sometimes things didn’t go well for them but in the end they stick together and everyone learned from their mistakes.
