“What?? What do you mean by that?” Derek exclaimed in surprise.

The cops walked towards him and brought out handcuffs.

“Just follow us to the police station Mr Bernardo. You have the obligation to remain silent for anything you say can be used against you. If you don’t have a lawyer the law will provide one for you” Said the chief police

Derek turned to Celina who was looking at the whole scene in shock. She too couldn’t grasp what was going on.

“Lina” Derek’s voice brought celina back to reality.

“I’m gonna go with them in order to avoid any rucus. You go back home with mom and make sure no one sees her. I’ll be fine since I know I’m not guilty” Derek cupped her cheek and kissed her forehead then smiled.

Louis on the other hand was in a car which had tinted windows. He smiled as he saw the police men who came to arrest Derek.

“Life is so easy. With money, you can bribe anyone you want. I know this won’t be enough to stop you. Just enjoy your stay in prison for a while” Louis smirked as he watched them

His countenance changed as he saw Derek kiss Celina’s forehead. He hissed and made a U turn then drove off…

Kyra on the other hand had no idea of what was going on. She wanted to get out of the car but something told her to stay back.

After a long while of waiting, the car door opened and Celina entered then sat down beside her with a sullen look on her face.

“Driver, let’s go” Celina said and sighed, trying to fight back her tears.

“What’s wrong? Where’s Derek?” Kyra asked.

Celina looked at Kyra and then looked down.

“He just got arrested for drug trafficking.” Celina sighed.

“What?” Kyra eye’s widened. Only one person deal with drugs in this country and she hopes it’s not who she thinks it is…

The ride home was silent. The car drove in the mansion and then parked. Kyra got down the car and the maids gasp seeing her face especially the old maids.

“Ma’am, youre alive??” One of the maid who couldn’t hold it any longer squealed.

“Yeah, I’m back. Please this is really delicate and I don’t want any of you to tell that I’m alive” Kyra warned them and they nodded instantly…

“Good” She walked in the house.

“Kyra” Kyra turned to the voice which called her name as it seemed so familiar.

Surprise took all over her body as she stared into blue eyes.

“Emile?” Kyra exclaimed in surprise.

“You’re alive!!” Emile said and smiled then pulled her in for a hug…

“What are you doing here?” Kyra asked with a smile as they broke the hug.

“I’m your son’s wife bodyguard” Emile said.

“You mean Celina?” Kyra furrowed her brows…

“Oh, so she remembers her name. That’s a good step towards getting better” Emile said and smiled.

“What do you mean?”

Emile looked out somewhere else for a while before looking back at her.

“She’s the girl with the three dots” Emile said…

Kyra gasped as memories began flooding her mind. She still remembered when that little girl saved her life but it cost her the life of the girl’s mother. Wait a minute, if Celina is the girl with the three dots then that means…

“Wait does that mean Celina is your…”

“Ma’am, we can’t find Mrs Celina.” A guard said with a worried expression.

“What!!”

Emile and Kyra rushed out of the house and truly, Celina isn’t there. The car which they came with it isn’t there too.

“I think I know where she went to” Kyra said.

Celina stopped the car in front of the police station and got out of it. With a straight face, she marched into the station…

“Can I see Derek Bernardo? I’m his wife”

The police woman looked at her and made a phone call. Minutes later, she hung up and nodded for Celina to walk in.

A cop guided her to a room. Her heart fell as she saw Derek sitting on a chair, handcuffed like a prisoner.

“Please have a seat Mrs Bernardo” The chief gestured in which she complied.

“As you can see, your husband has been charged for drug trafficking. We also have some proves and a witness testifying that your husband really is a culprit” The chief said and brought out a phone then played the video.

Derek froze as he saw his secretary spewing rubbish on his name.

“That’s…that’s…my secretary” Derek mumbled..

Celina’s eyes widened as he heard Derek say those words.

“Your secretary”

Now that Celina thinks of it, she’s seen her when she went to pay a visit to Derek. She folded her fists as anger was slowing rising in her. How dare this useless piece of trash?!

“A process will be held tomorrow where your husband will be judged. For now, He’s staying with us… Guards” He signalled the guards to take Derek away.

Panic struck Celina as tears escaped her eyes..

“No, please let him go” Celina said and hugged Derek.

Derek placed his head on her shoulder. He just don’t know from where to start in order to understand what’s happening to him.

“I’ll be fine” Derek whispered.

“You keep saying that all the time meanwhile you’re not” Celina sniffed.

She broke the hug and then cupped his cheek then kissed him.

“Take him away” The chief said and sighed…

They pulled Derek out of the room. Celina looked back at the chief and stormed out of the office in tears…

She jus couldn’t understand who did this and why was the motive behind it. Anger boiled in her veins as she remembered that useless secretary.

“I’ll finish you” She growled and began marching out of the station.

Emile and Kyra were just rushing in too so their path crossed.

“Celina, we were worried sick of you” Kyra said and held her hands but she slapped it off and made to go but Emile held her back…

“Let me go! I need to finish off with that useless secretary. She’s the reason why my Derek is likely to be imprisoned for life!” Celina teared up as she tried to get out of his grip…

“What are you talking about?” Kyra asked worriedly..

“IT’S THAT SECRETARY!! THAT GODFORSAKEN SECRETARY!!! SHE FRAMED DEREK!!” Celina yelled so much that veins where popping out of her neck.

“What!!” Emile said in disbelief. He was slowly assembling the puzzles on who it could be that framed Derek.

“Yes, it’s-”

Kyra ran off in blind anger to who knows where.

“Let me go, I need to-”

“Celina, you need to calm down!! I’ll handle it trust me…” Emile said but Celina still remained adamant.

A car screeched and stopped carelessly in front of Santiago’s house. Kyra got out of the car. She doesn’t even know to who she snatched the car from…

A loud bang could be heard on the gate.

“Geez, don’t you know how to ring-”

Kyra pushed the maid out of the way and marched in. The maid stood there in shock as she saw Santiago’s first wife. She’s alive!!!

“Santiago!!! Where are you? Come out here you shameless coward!!” Kyra yelled as she marched into the house.

“Ma’am, please calm-”

A slap from Kyra landed on the face of the guard who tried stop her.

“Come out of here!!! Enough is enough!!!” Kyra yelled…

“What’s going on here??” Raquel asked and walked downstairs dressed in a sexy gown.

“Where’s that useless husband of yours?” Kyra asked.

(A:N:- Derek told his mother everything about his love life so don’t be surprised if Kyra knows Santiago is married)

“Who’s making that noise” Santiago asked as he walked downstairs in anger.

His anger vanished as he saw who came to visit him. His anger was replaced by shock!

“We meet again Santiago. I’m not here to catch the lost time with you. After what you did to me, I promise you’ll pay it with your life” Kyra said…

“How did you escape?”

Kyra laughed dryly and her angry expression came back.

“Listen, I’m not here to give you a résumé about my life. I’m here to tell you to let Derek go and also to warn you to stay away from me and my two sons. I know you’re behind Derek’s arrest…” Kyra said.

“Wait, I’m-”

“Shut up! I’m not done talking. Also, don’t you try to do anything funny on me because if you touch a single hair on me, you’re going down. I had a video made where I confess all your evil deeds. If you just make any wrong move I’ll ask my witnesses to release the video….. Last warning, stay away from Louis and from Derek. I’m back for you and I won’t stop till I expose your organization” Kyra said and made to leave but looked at Raquel and scoffed.

“Seriously you didn’t find any better replacement for me except this free good? She’s not even pretty” Kyra spatted and walked out….

“Dammit, what has Louis done??” Santiago thought…

“Let me go!!.” Celina struggled

“Trust me, I’ll help you. Please, calm down lina.” Emile said calmly

Celina pushed him with all her force..

“Don’t try to boss me around. Who do you think you are?? Huh!!” Celina yelled in tears. That’s one fault in Celina, she’s highly sentimental.

Emile held her arms tightly.

“I’M YOUR DAD!!!” Emile spat the truth to her face, shaking her in the process…
