Immediately Jonas stepped out,a loud explosion rocked the eatery sweeping alot of people off their feet. Jonas wasn’t that lucky because he was close to the eatery he got injured severely. Jones went closer to his brother to feel his pulse but he wasn’t breathing.

“brother please get up let’s go,this prank it’s expensive” Jones said remembering a prank Jonas did on him in the United States.

“Pls wake up” Eva cried loudly

Soon medical personnel flooded the scene with stretchers picking up the injured one’s.

“sir he is breathing, let’s rush him to the hospital” Jones said after feeling Jonas breath slowly.

The medical personnel hurried there and stretched Jonas on the stretcher and wheeled him into their ambulance.

MONDAY MORNING (ASSEMBLY GROUNDS)

“Good morning school” The principal greeted

“Good morning sir” The students replied

“how was your weekend” The principal asked shocking the whole school. He has never asked that question.

“It was cool” Some students said

“it was bad” others said

“I hope all of you saw what happened in the school last week” He paused and the student answered affirmly with alot of murmuring behind the answer

“We have reported the case to the NIC (National Investigation Center) and they have affirmed that someone planted an explosive device in the eatery, so be patient the case will be dealth with and the culprits will be caught” he explained to them.

He addressed them on other issues and dismissed them.

A QUICK DISCRIPTION ABOUT THE NATIONAL INVESTIGATION CENTER (NIC)

NIC(National Investigation center)Is known to the people as a part of the Ghana people who focus mainly on investigation but unkownly to them,It was a secret agency that help the police and army in combating criminal and serious cases. They help the police in tracking culprits,and they were highly trained in hand to hand combat and the use of guns and other weapons.

“So if Jonas get well will u guys leave this school” Eva asked worried as they were walking towards the infirmiry

“why are you asking” Jones replied showing that he wasn’t interested in the conversation,all he wanted was to go and see his brother already healthy.

“hmmm,you know my dad is a parliamentarian and he think his is the safest school for me,so if I tell him to change school for me, he will send me to the United State and I dont want Jonas to leave me in this school alone, I love him” she narrated but got a reply from Jeff instead

This time they were at the entrance of the school infirmiry. Jones rushed into Jonas ward to meet the shock of his life. Jonas was no where to be found, he went back and check the ward number but it was Jonas ward.He stood there motionless for a while with tears gathering in his eyes, and he quickly rushed towards the nurse coming.

“Nurse did you transfer the patient in this ward” he asked pointing at Jonas ward but the nurse nodded negative.

“what the bleep, so where is my brother” he asked with the tears flooding his face

“pls can u borrow me your phone”he asked and the nurse handed her iPhone XR to him. He hacked into the clinic database and the cctv cameras but found nothing.This result increased his heartbeat.

“how the f**k can an ordinary kidnapper erase cctv footages from the system and also the junk file,am doom. This sh*t is more than me” he said to himself but it was loud enough for others to head but they kept their quit watching the drama unfolding.

He hacked into the school database but was kicked out immediately he entered the database. This also increase his heart beat. For all these years he has been lieing to himself that he is the best but hell no. Here he is being lashed like a small kid by an anonymous hacker

He checked the phone location and it was turned on,he cursed loudly and stood up with a speed out lightening and exited the infirmiry leaving Jeff and Eva behind.

1MINUTE AFTER JONES ESCAPE

Two NIC disguised in police uniform entered the infirmiry.They rushed straight towards the nurse who gave her phone to Jones.

“we are from the police and we are here to question you”the leader said to her showing her their badge. while the other who look like a computer guru was checking his tablet to be sure she was the one.

when Jones tried to hack into the school database, They got the signal and planted a bug in the phone which they used to track her there.

“Who did you give your phone to this morning”He asked not really sure but playing mind games.

“one boy like that who came looking for his brother”she replied

“And what did he do with it”he pressed on

“I don’t really know but he requested for it after confirming that his brother is missing from his ward”she explained everything to him.

“And u didn’t ask what he want to do with it” he pressed

“yes but he shouted something like someone cleared footages from a cctv and it sounded shocking to him”she explained everything to him.

“can you describe him”he asked and she nodded affirmly. The computer guru opened a composition app on his phone and asked her to start.

“he is fair,pointed nose,pink lip…..”she described Jones the way she saw him to and the NIC agent composed him on the phone.

“is he the one”he asked showing her the picture of Jones

“yes ooo exactly,you already know him?” she asked the man but he ignored her and they walked away.

“who do you think he is” the NIC agents asked the leader

“how the bleep do you expect me to know, this is my first time of seeing him” the leader replied.

“you remember the president case?”the computer guru asked the leader.

“what about that” the leader replied.

“He was the guy who came to the presidents rescue, u think he is damn dangerous” he explained to the leader. The almighty Mad max was bleeping lucky to escape death

“Wow look like we are dealing with a dangerous group of people or even an organization” The leader said.

“I think we should work on the ach president case for now it might connect to them” The computer guru voiced out.

“And how sure are you about this” the leader quizzed

“Very sure” the guy answered

“Then we have to call mad max and ask him to transfer the case to us” The leader said as they entered their agency.

The NIC office is a very big and spacious office with department for all type of investigations in it. They have the forensic laboratory with over fifty forensics experts working there. They have a very large computer room with forty different hackers and crackers working there and many more departments in the office.

“Hello Almighty mad max” Forlan said immediately the call was answered.

Forlan is the leader of the investigation department who went with the computer guru(seth) to question the nurse. They call mad max the almighty because of his intelligence and strength, he is way stronger than all of the NIC agents. He is tall and heavily built and muscular just like most of the NIC agents but his intelligence and strength is a mystery to them. unknowingly to them his source of intelligence and strength is two special agents of an organization. (story for another day)

“my man Forlan,wad up” mad max greeted.

“am doing good boss,what about you” am also kicking

“I heard that you nearly died during the presidents attempted murder how true is this” Forlan asked

“I swear this guy possesses a great element of surprise,we nearly busted him but some how he got rescue by someone but we are on his trail now” Forlan explained to him

“What!! you are already working on the case?we wanted you to transfer the case to us because it is connected to a case we are working on” Forlan said to mad max on the phone

“what the bleep,I don’t think we can handle the case to you because we are already making headway on the case and we shall bring it to an end soon” Mad max said disappointing Forlan.

“That’s great but hope we can also ask you questions when ever our case link to your case” Forlan begged

“That’s cool by me” Mad max said and hunged up the call.

“sir we have discovered him” one of the hackers announced to the investigation leader (Forlan)

“where” Forlan quizzed

“around the Amasaman junction,our head of surveillance there gave us a link to the feed of the CCTV cameras there” a hacker explained.

“can I see the footages” he requested and leaned forward to the laptop. They watched for some minutes before they finally located Jones in one of the footages with a face cap covering larger part of his face.

“pause it here” Forlan said pointing at where the scene Jones was captured.

“zoom it to his face” He added

“sir I don’t think he is the one but he look suspicious that’s why we are taking him for the man” one of the hackers explained.

“He is the one, inform our agents there to quickly trail him. He might lead them to their hideout” Forlan said

JONES END

Jones had a black face cap covering his face except his chin. He opened the camera located app on his smart watch so it helped him spotted the corners with cameras and avoided the camera’s at the area from capturing his face. He walked around Amasaman lorry park for three minutes to see any suspicious stare but got nothing. He then proceeded forward,he looked around at again and saw two mad men also taking the road he took. He saw them when he was going around the lorry park but took them for mad people but now he knew they are on disguise so he quickly look forward again without acting suspicious,he acted as if he haven’t seen them. Few minutes on the road,Jones and the mad men were the only people on the road but he still walked unsuspiciously, Few minutes on the lonely road,the mad men started approaching Jones quickly, he also noticed it and increased his pace. soon it turned to a chase. Jones wasnt familiar with the road but he was making use of every short way he sees. Jones spotted a motor and quickly jumped on it.He brought out his master’s key and inserted it into the keyhole,with a little turn the revved to life and he zoomed off.

“He is exiting the Amasaman road on motor” One of the mad men announced to their leader on the phone.

“okay I will send other agents towards him”the leader replied ending the call.

Jones was on high speed on the sowutuom road with a vehicle conveying the disguised mad men on his tail. He sterted hearing sounds of a moving vehicle in front of him so he quickly took a turn to left avoiding the cars in front but unfortunately two powerbikes were also coming from that direction. Before he could think of what to do, two granade gas were lunched towards his car blinding him. He quickly stepped on the brakes and swiftly jumped out of the car.
Jones passed out immediately he inhaled the granade gas.

The two men on the powerbikes quickly came down from the powerbike and rushed towards him.
