Episode 10

ELIZA’s POV

After calling my mum the other day I felt a little relief hearing her voice, although it’s just three days since I left home but I have already start missing them already, I hope I see them someday.

Mum also told me about the money Mrs. smith gave her, hmm I hope what this woman brought us here for is legit, I want to start believing Maria about what she said about her, Mrs. smith might be……hmmmm, well I pray she introduce us to the work immediately, I hate this staying at home stuff.

The room was a bit dark due to the covered windows, I shifted the drapes enjoying the great view from my window, even the fresh air was so cool, perhaps it due to my room being close the garden.

Still enjoying the view, I sighted Maria in the garden heading to where Mr.. handsome …I mean Mr.. Rude is, like seriously I thought I told Maria to mind her business, anyway I have my own problem to solve why hers is a bit solved though

ERIC’S POV

After the serious argument with my mum, I headed to the garden with anger, I hated being shouted at by that woman, I just hate her since the first day I came in contact with her.

Staring at the flowers and butterflies in the garden always calm me down anytime I’m angry, I closed my eyes enjoying the cool breeze only to hear a rustling sound of the leaves.

I looked towards that direction only to see one of the girls my mum brought from wherever she brought them from.

“What does she want now” I thought

Coming closer, she stood beside me “Hi I’m Maria and you

“What do you want” I asked trying not the be too rude

“Hey that was harsh, I mean no harm, okay” she pouted, I almost chuckled at her expression

“I don’t care, all I want now is to be alone, and that’s all”

“Hmm, well you are right anyway, I’m sorry about what happened between you and your mum, its right  to get angry though, but don’t be angry for too long, I just wanna be your friend anyway,  your mum brought us here to work or perhaps learn a trade” she said

“Huh” I scoffed “to work indeed, anyway I did not ask for any explanations, and why do you think I will wanna be friends with prostitutes”

“What!!!! That’s not true, I’m not a prostitute, I’m a Christian I can’t do such a stupid job, don’t get me wrong” she said, a bit shocked at my outburst

“Seriously, stop pretending, when did you get here” I asked still surprised on how I was chatting with her freely, it’s feels strange though

“We arrived here two days ago”

“You and your sister?” I asked

“No, she is my friend, her name is Elizabeth”

“oh, that’s good” I said trying not to go further in the conversation, she seems innocent, chatting with her relieved me a little. Taking my time to stare at her, I noticed her beauty, her curves and smooth skin, although there were little scars which looks like marks from stroke of cane or so.

There was a beady cross chain on her neck, she must be a Christian as she said, but her friend’s beauty seems more radiating. I wonder where mum brought them from, it’s such a pity they don’t know where they are and the work they are about to engage in, Maria here seems more innocent that her friend, her friend looks a little tough” I thought

“Hey are you here” she asked bringing me back to reality, I can’t believe I got carried away staring at her

“Yes, what it is” I asked

“You got carried away, hope no problem?”

“No I was just thinking about something” I said, trying to cover up my expression

“Well I want to head inside now, it’s nice talking with you” she smiled

“Yea and thanks” I returned the smile

“You did not tell me your name”

“It’s Eric”

“Ok bye Eric, and try to apologize your mum, I don’t like you two being loggerheads” she said, leaving immediately

“She is not my mum” I said, but she was gone already. I can’t believe I told her thanks and even smiled back at her, what did she use on me to make me feel this way, even Natasha doesn’t really have this charms, she only knows how to seduce. Immediately her call came in.

“Huhhhh, speaking of the devil, I’m sure she will be here sooner or later with her troubles….

“Hello dear, how are you…….

“I’m fine” she said seeming excited “ I will be coming next week dear, got some things to handle first, you know, as a princess”

“Okay fine, take care”

“Byeeeee”

Hmmmm I guess I will have a little peace of mind before she comes……

ELIZA POV

“Where am i? Oh my God, this place is scary, Maria!! Mother where are you” I shouted only to hear my voice echo from all rounder.

Seeing myself in a scary forest, filled with bones of dead animals, and skulls of humans really sent a cold ice, running down my spine.

I wonder how I got to a place like this, I can only remember sleeping on my bed last night, but how did I get here.

“Somebody help me!!!!!”

“haaahaaahaa, who will rescue you from this place, your mother or your good for nothing friend” said an echoing voice

“Who are you, what do you want from me, reveal yourself” I screamed, searching around the forest if I could get a glimpse of the person speaking to me

“I am here” the voice growled

I turned round to get a glimpse of the figure, only to see the one and only annoying being, Nena, my grandmother, dressed in her priestess robe.

“What do you want from me” I said groaning with pain; seem like she is inflicting pains on me, I feel like I will pass out anytime from now, the pain is too much

“You failed to pay homage to the oracles and fulfill their wish by becoming the next priestess, now you tried to run away by coming to the city thinking you are free, haahaahaa, foolish girl” she said making shrieking sounds

“Leave me alone, I am suffocating, you are hurting me” I groan, feeling hot already like I am being set on fire, too bad I can’t move from the spot

“I won’t ki*ll you yet, but I will make sure I punish you and your family, haahaaaahasaaa”

“Save me somebody, helpppppp!!!!!!

“I willll killll youuuuuuuuu, haaahaa” she said changing into a big python snake

“ Nooooooooooo, Nooooooooooo”
