Chapter 96

Aiden’s House

.

“What are you telling me, that she has been missing for two days now..or..what” Aiden snapped angrily at Axel who sat opposite him

“You heard me right Aiden…I…don’t know what to do any longer…”

“If only you hadn’t destroyed the bracelet I gave to her” Aiden snapped

“I didn’t destroy it, I left it at the hotel, though it was broken.

 

“Damn..so what are the police doing about it….. this is bullshit”

“They caught two of the kidnappers and went to their hideout, but the men denied knowing who asked for her kidnap. Ariel was missing when they got there. They believes she had escaped or perhaps been rescued. They saw one of the men dead with a bullet in his head and a fingerprint test was conducted on the gun. Ariel’s print appeared. It shows that she killed the man to free herself”

 

“Ariel can’t ki*ll a fly; she can’t be the one who did that”

“I think she was; according to the police, the dead man pant was down, and they saw some piece of her clothes. So they believed, he tried to have his way with her, but she got the upper hand. Right now, we don’t know where she had gone to, but the police are still looking for her..I pray they find her” Axel stated. Aiden sighed getting on his feet

 

“You know you caused all this Axel; about five years ago, we lost our sister, now we are losing someone else..” Aiden seethed. Axel sighs, getting up too

 

“I’m not here to exchange words with you bro. I only want you to know about what is going on since you didn’t want to pick up my calls; and I thank you for giving me audience though. I wasn’t expecting you to come out to see me, but you came eventually, and I’m happy about it. I already told you that I am going to back out; but to say the truth; my heart still beats for her. Even when I try to stop it, it always beat faster. I’m sorry for causing this rift though, but please don’t hate me for it.” Axel muttered and left before he could reply

Ariel woke up when she felt someone touching her hair. She flicker her eyes open, squinting a bit to the brightness of the room as she tried adjusting her vision. She yawn slightly as turned to look at who touched her

 

“You have a pretty hair” The doctor said, smiling down at her. She was currently lying on a bench in Brittany’s ward. She struggled to stand up, groaning a bit as she feels pain all over. She hasn’t even had a good sleep in two days, and now her body is telling on her

“Good morning Doc..” She greeted, returning the smile

“Good morning..how was your night” She asked. Ariel shrug

 

“It was better than the previous night”

“I think that’s a good thing though, and your friend here is also awake”

“Good morning Mrs. Priscilla” Brittany greeted with a soft smile. She had been awake for a while now, though she could still feel a bit of pains on her arm; but she is feels better than the previous day. She had sighted Ariel sleeping soundly on the bench close by.

 

“How is your arm now Brittany” Mrs. Priscilla asked with a smile

“I feel better…but I’m damn starving…she must be hungry too” Brittany nodded at Ariel who smiled at her.

 

“I have asked a nurse to get you both something to eat, but first you will have to freshen up the bathroom” She stated. As they both nodded. Ariel was beginning to rack her brain on where she had seen Brittany. She soundly looks really familiar to her, but she just can’t remember. Her stomach growled loudly as the doctor chuckled. She flushed with embarrassment, as she went towards the bathroom, to have her bath first.

 

With the look of things, it seems the doctor knows her savior really well, so she really won’t have a problem paying the bills, because, damn…she doesn’t even have a dime on her.

 

Ariel finished freshening up, same as Brittany as they both felt refreshed and clean. Ariel really spent time scrubbing the whole part of her body; she can’t afford leaving any dirt on it. New clothes were brought to them, and Ariel was beginning to wonder why the doctor is being so nice, but she didn’t say a word. Even Brittany only stared at her and didn’t start a conversation; well, not until they finished having a suitable breakfast.

 

“Damn…I’m sick of hospitals” Brittany groans

“And that’s how you have always been saying, making you skips the complete dosage of your drugs, you always leave it behind, escaping through the back door. But you never knew that I had watched you leave, right from my office.” Mrs. Priscilla muttered making Brittany chuckle

 

Pricilla faced Ariel

 

“What’s your name pretty”

“Oh…Ariel….”

“Ariel.. like the little mermaid..Ariel..” She teased

“Oh no…” Ariel chuckled, as she laughs along.

“But I don’t mind being the little mermaid though, she is really pretty” Ariel shrug

“And you are also damn beautiful…I love your skin”

 

“Thanks…ma’am

“Is it true you really don’t have anywhere to go, or you only said that so as to sleep here last night?”

“it’s true ma… I’m kinda lost..you can ask her, she met me in the woods” Ariel stated explaining the encounter of last night; how she was saved from the wood by Brittany and in turn rescued her from dying due to the state she found her.”

 

“Hmm…this is really weird. Where do you come from…I mean..you would have a place where you stay before right?”

“Yes…Cape Town”

 

“Ouch…that’s miles from here…if you don’t mind, how did you end up here if you are actually from Cape Town…did you come here for a party or so…”

“I…I was kidnapped…and erm..tried to escape..I don’t know what those guys want from me” Ariel muttered as Priscilla gasp

 

“Were you hurt” She asked

“Not really, but I spends the whole night in the woods

“That’s bad; you might have gone through a lot. Hope you weren’t attacked by any animal” Pricilla asked, with a glint of fear. Ariel chuckled

“Nope, I didn’t get to see any wild animal though; only weird birds, wild fruits that are untouched and few unharmed reptiles.”

 

Brittany watched as Ariel spoke about being kidnapped; now she knows who Ariel is. She couldn’t guess where she saw her as at last night, but after freshening up, her face has really showed clearly. She wonders if Mrs. Priscilla doesn’t know the famous winner of the hybrid band. Maybe she isn’t a fan of music.

 

Ariel on the other hand is still struggling to remember who Brittany is, or where she has seen her. She decided to let go since she can’t remember. Perhaps she will later, since her mind is still occupied with so many things.

 

“You’re sure you ain’t gonna tell me how you got that bullet wound. Though, you have been coming here for worse treatment, but not with a bullet. What’s wrong girl, and why haven’t I seen any of your family” Pricilla face Brittany

She shrugs

“It’s a long story..but I will tell you only if you can get us a place to stay for now, please..” Brittany pouted. Pricilla rolled her eyes

 

“Fine..but my place will  be better, I won’t allow you to leave this time until you recover”

“Thanks ma’am…” Brittany muttered with a grateful look

Ariel did the same.

Priscilla’s Apartment

“And…welcome to my humble abode…” Pricilla smiled, ushering the girls in. The apartment isn’t bad; it was just so warm and cozy. The living room is looking neat and fresh, with a beautiful chandelier hung from the ceiling. A glass center table stood on a rug place at the middle of the room. On it, is a little flower vase and a bowl of artificial fruits. The room isn’t that big, but she seems to have a sweet but moderate lifestyle, despite having a huge clinic that she can derive millions from to build a suitable apartment.

 

“Darling” Someone called from the stairs as he walk down to where they stood. Perhaps her husband, they thought

“Sweetheart…mauh” She pecked his lips, as he glance at the girls.

Brittany’s hand was still bandaged but she didn’t seek for any support to stand or move.

“Good evening ladies….” Mr. Brooklyn greeted as they replied his greetings

“Oh…sorry for not informing you about it though…but this are the girls I was speaking about last night” Priscilla whispered to her husband.

 

He looked closer at Brittany and frown

“Mary?” he stated before he could stop his mouth. Brittany returned the frown.

“Why will he call her Mary, that name belongs to her mother..”

“Oh… I’m sorry for that…I …erm..actually though my past is coming into present..”

 

“Phew…that was a relief, I was beginning to think you knew her somewhere to have called  her Mary…her name is Brittany..and this is Ariel” Priscilla noted as Ariel smiled in return. The smile made something ring in Brooklyn’s memory, but he can’t place his hand on who used to smile that way.

“They will be staying here for a main time until she recovers, she doesn’t like hospitals, an you know..i really wanna have someone to gist with” Priscilla pouted, as he chuckled.

 

“Am I not good enough to be your gist partner” he teased, making her slaps his chest slight

“Nah—you ain’t, you will always get tired when I’m even just starting” She rolled her eyes, making him laugh out. The girls also giggled

“Perhaps Jackson is better right?” he asked

She shrugs

 

“Maybe…ouch my bad girls…sorry for keeping you standing…here will be your room, come in” She directed them to a guest room. Ariel dropped the bag she was holding. It contains new clothes for them. She and Pricilla made a little shopping for the things they both need before coming here.

“I need to go freshen up…you both can do that too..and erm..come down for dinner afterward..okay”
She stated

 

“Ok ma’am…thanks so much” Ariel muttered. Brittany nodded. Priscilla closed the door and left

Ariel faced Brittany when Priscilla left, and Brittany returned the stare. They both were acting weird not saying a word, not until Ariel broke the silence.

“You haven’t spoken to me after last night” She stated

“I don’t talk too much” Brittany muttered with a stern face

“I also don’t like being ignored for too long” Ariel pouted, as Brittany face soften into a smile

 

“Thanks for taking me to the hospital, you saved my life” She said

“You also saved mine by driving toward where I was. Life was hell in the wood” Ariel yawns.

“I will just have my bath first..or…”

 

“No.no..you can..I will come after you” Brittany shuttered, looking intently at Ariel. She was beginning to wonder why Ariel couldn’t recognize her. Anyone who had been with the twins would notice the resemblance she shared with them. If she had been a boy, they would have called them triplet.

“Gosh….have we met somewhere…” Ariel paused to ask her; she hates the feeling that she has seen this face before, without knowing where they had met.

 

“You are a celebrity ain’t you” Brittany blurted out to Ariel’s shock.

“You know me…”

Brittany shrug

“Who wouldn’t know you, except those who aint music freak..”

 

“Oh…I didn’t know you do. Was that why you have been staring weirdly at me”

“Perhaps”

“Does Mrs. Priscilla know about it? She told me I looked familiar”

“Well, I can’t say for sure…she might know and she might not. Perhaps she has seen your picture on a magazine or so.”

 

Ariel kept staring at her, making her smile. The smile flashed some resemblance making Ariel frown

“You just smiled like someone I know…”

“Who…”

“Nah…you might not know him…no…you will..since you know me..who wouldn’t know Axel too. You have the same smile and it’s weird” Ariel chuckled

 

“Wow…that’s cool…” Brittany noted, shrugging

“Yea…erm..” Ariel was getting confused here…she was beginning to see the twins face in her face. It wasn’t clear before, but it’s getting clearer now

“Aiden once told me about having a sister and…erm..wait a sec” She stopped talking, remembering the frame she broke at Axel’s house

 

“I think her name is…ain’t..what’s your name…harghh…Brittany?” She rushed her words, her eyes popping out in shock.

“Oh my gosh…damn…are you real” Ariel asked. Brittany roiled her eyes

“Do I look like a ghost to you…” She resorted, but Ariel kept looking like she had seen a ghost

“Uhhnn…I think I will just have my bath first, perhaps when you regain consciousness then you will have yours” She stated and went in.

Red Fox Clan

Cassie lay on the clinic bed, having the right eye plastered. She is currently having just one eye which seems to be affected to, but she can still use it to see; just that the colour of her iris is looking weird.  Brittany succeeded in making her look this way, she gritted.

“I will deal with you Brittany..just hope the spies sent out doesn’t catch you; I will make sure I pluck it your two eyes..arhhh” She screamed as Macho came into her ward with Leo, his guard.

 

“Get your mouth shut b!tch..you won’t wanna bring the clinic down” Macho snapped

“Mind the way you speak to me too, can’t you see that I’m in pains” Cassie cursed

“Huff..the pain you caused yourself. Why the hell will you go into the cell without getting permission from me” He snapped

“Do I need your permission..”

 

“And that’s why you ended up like this…” He cursed

“How the hell do you want me to know that her bounds were lose”

“And how the hell do you want me to believe that you didn’t lose it from her”

“What are you talking about Macho; the guards in charge of her cell should be the one to be blamed for it. I didn’t do anything”

 

“But that’s not what I was told. The guards claimed that you were the only one who came to visit her, telling them that you got permission from me” He seethed, looking down at her disgustingly. So tell me, who else would have freed her”

“That will be the guards, or someone else..not me”

“I was there to watch them lock her up. The bounds were firm you b!tch..she might have compelled you to free her and ended up getting a one eye.” He scoffs

 

“Don’t you dare call me that, I am still your fiancée”

“Yea I know….and another secret..I visited you father yesterday…so I know what’s going on.” He mocked. She couldn’t speak for a while as she stared angrily at him

“I don’t mind still keeping you here though” He muttered and he could swear that he heard her heave a sigh of relief. She thought he will throw her out.

“I don’t mind keeping you as my fiancée, or even get married to you…but have it at the back of your mind that I won’t have a one eye to service me when my urge comes” he smirked

 

“You won’t dare cheat on me Macho ….you won’t” She roared, trying to getting up but wince at the pain that struck her

“Oh…just like the way you cheated on me..with my personal guard” He snarled as Leo looked up from behind him. He could feel himself peeing in his pant

“I’m….I’m…sorry boss….she….she…forced me to do it” Leo shuttered, looking downward. He could feel the anger burning up in Macho.

 

“You both will get punish; your punishment will start now. You are stripped from being my personal guard. And you Winter; I will make sure you get f**ked by three men at a time….I believe you love s*x, just wait and see how you will be brutally f**ked. It’s not like your father cared about you any longer; he has given you to me..I can make you my slave if you want. So you can’t use him to threaten me any longer.” He snapped and left. The fear written on Cassie’s face was nothing to write about. She almost peed on her pant. How did Macho find out? She thought she was smart with it, but now, karma is getting back at her.

 

Sissy came into the ward wearing a wide grin; she had actually been eavesdropping from the other room.

“What do you want” Cassie gritted

“Ouch…that was harsh…I only came to greet you my dear one-eye Cyclops, I mean, damn, this is the first time I’m seeing a life Cyclops…damn…” Sissy mocked, making Cassie throw a pillow at her. She laughed her lungs out running out of the ward.

“B!tch” Cassie cursed
