“I can’t wait for tonight’s party! It’s gonna be so awesome, I know that” Kimberly exclaimed.

“I’m not coming guys” Charlotte said.

“Huh? Why?” Kimberly asked.

“Well, I’m not that interested in that party.” Charlotte smiled..

“Are you sure you don’t wanna come?” Iris asked and Charlotte nodded.

“You need to see my gown for the prom night, its so pretty and so…”

“Kim!!! Stop talking!!!” Iris and Charlotte chorused.

“What?” Kimberly scoffed and crossed her hand on her chest..

“Here’s total amount for the company’s sales this week” Emilia showed it to Ricardo..

“Wow, I’m impressed. The millions increased” Ricardo smiled, going through the file.

Emilia smiled and nodded. Ricardo finished going through the files and kept it aside. He brought out another file and then signed it then handed it Emilia.

“Here, make sure to deposit it to the executive bureau” Ricardo said.

Emilia nodded and collected the file from him. She stared at his face for a while, Ricardo looked at her with furrowed brows.

“Uhm, I think you can leave now” Ricardo said.

“Oh yes, sorry boss” She smiled and turned then left the office.

Valentina was busy working on her computer with a smile on her face. She looked up to see Emilia glaring at her.

Valentina rolled her eyes and concentrated back on her computer. Emily scoffed and marched away.

Once she was done typing it out, she printed it and then went in with the print out.

“Here’s the résumé you asked me to type and print out” Valentina smiled and handed it over to Ricardo.

Ricardo leaned tiredly on his chair while going through the résumé. After the show which took place in Paris, his company’s sales tripled and that’s a good thing but so tiring

Valentina smirked and walked behind him then began massaging his shoulder slowly..

“I know you’re very tired” Valentina whispered to him.

Ricardo smirked and chuckled, it’s relaxing but also building up another sensation in him.

He turned his chair to Valentina and then caught her wrist then pulled her to him, making her land on his thigh with their faces inches apart.

“So you’re not contented of stealing my heart away now you’re seducing me? Are you sure you’re gonna finish what you started?” Ricardo smirked.

Ricardo kissed her cheek and brushed his lips to her ear where he licked and sucked on her earlobe making Valentina shiver.

She held unto his shoulder trying to stand but Ricardo held her waist, caging her. She now regretted why she did that!

Ricardo released her earlobe and then trailed kissed to her neck where he placed lingering. That made Valentina gasp…

“Say it” Ricardo muttered and bit her ear softly…

“Huh?”

“Tell me you love me…” Ricardo whispered to her ears.

“I…I lo-”

Suddenly a knock came up on Ricardo’s door. Ricardo groaned and looked at Valentina who was so red like a tomato.

His gaze landed on her lips and he bit his lips then leaned to her.

“Next time don’t start what you can’t finish. Believe me when I say you’re my weakness and sweet tormenter, my favorite addiction” Ricardo whispered to her and released her.

Valentina just stared at him with her heart hammering against her ribcage. She brought her hands to his lips and brushed it…

The person behind the door insisted again, making Valentina retreat her hand and stand up.

“Come in” Ricardo said.

The door opened revealing Jace who came with some documents in his hands. Valentina slowly walked out of his office.

She sat down on her chair and brushed her hair behind then placed her hand on her beating heart. She leaned on her chair with closed eyes and smiled…

07:40PM**

Iris came down the cab and paid the driver before turning to the hall. She could see various students entering the hall with their partners, all dressed in hot and cool outfits..

Iris spotted Josh and Karl enter with two girls dresses in skimpy wears. She shook her head.

The next person she saw was Maxwell, he was with another girl who kept talking but he didn’t pay attention at her. Maxwell winked at her when he saw her, she simply waved back with a smile.

“Iris” A voice called her from behind.

She turned and smiled when she saw it was Luca. Luca just couldn’t get his eyes off her, she was just so pretty. Probably the prettiest girl he’s set his eyes on.

“Hi Luca” Iris smiled, she couldn’t help but notice that he looked cuter than usual.

“You look so pretty” Luca smiled.

“Oh, thank yoi. You look good too” Iris smiled back.

Iris held Luca’s hand and pulled him to the entrance.

“Come on, let’s go rock this party!!” Iris exclaimed

Luca simply chuckled and followed behind.

Valentina entered the elevator once she was done packing her things. The elevator took her down.

She walked out of the elevator, heading to the exit while pressing her phone.

“Valentina?” She heard someone call her name once she walked out of the company.

She slowly looked up and froze when she saw Ryan leaning on his car smiling at her.

“What are you doing here?” Valentina frowned and spoke coldly.

Ryan walked closer to her making Valentina to take a step back.

“I’m serious Tina, I still do love you very much. I realized that I made the biggest mistake one could ever make, I’m really sorry please forgive me” Ryan said with a pitiful face…

Valentina just stared at him for a while. She sighed and looked away..

“If it’s forgiveness that you want, fine I forgive you but just get this. We’re never getting back together” Valentina said seriously.

“Please Valentina I beg you. I still do love you so much, just give me another chance and I won’t make that same mistake” Ryan pleaded

“Just let me be!! I forgive you, what else do you want?? Do you seriously think I’m foolish enough to go back to you?? After the heartbreak and humiliation I went through?? Just leave…” Valentina said slowly.

“Valentina I…”

“I said leave Ryan” Valentina said and looked away.

Ryan made to hold her hand but another hand held his preventing his from touching Valentina. He followed the arm and his gaze landed on Ricardo’s.

“Are you deaf? She said leave or do you want my security guard to kick you out.” Ricardo glared at him.

Ryan glared back at Ricardo. He slapped Ricardo’s hand off his and took one last look at Valentina.

“Just know that I still do love you very much Tina” Ryan said and walked to his car.

He entered his car and drove off.

Valentina brushed her hair to the back, breathing heavily. Seeing his face just really annoys her and makes her remember what she thought she has forgotten…

Ricardo cupped her cheek and then placed her head on his chest then wrapped his hand protectively around her.

“Do you still have feelings for him? I won’t stop you from going back to him if you do” Ricardo said lowly…

Valentina simply wrapped her hands round Ricardo’s waist and buried her face in his chest.

“This party is so wow!!” Kimberly exclaimed when she walked in the hall with Gavin beside her.

She was dressed in a black mini gown that had long sleeves. Gavin simply stared at his phone browsing through the net.

“I’ll be over there if you need me” Gavin said and went to sit by the counter.

“C’mon Gavin, just because Iris turned you down for Luca doesn’t make you al loser” Kimberly said but Gavin simply ignored her.

Kimberly simply shrugged and walked to the dance floor then began dancing with her classmates.

“3, 2, 1 go!!” Iris exclaimed and her and Luca gulped down some drinks. Iris placed her glass on the table once she was done.

“I won again!!” Iris clapped.

Luca placed his own glass and shook his head vigorously.

“Men!! If I take another drink I swear I’ll get drunk” Luca groaned

“Me too” Iris chuckled.

“Come, let’s go eat!” Iris dragged Luca to a counter.

Gavin was busy watching the others party. He really never wanted to come but Kimberly forced him and now here he is.

He furrowed his brows when he spotted Iris eating cake with Luca on a table while laughing. Seem they were laughing about what Iris said, Luca put some of his chocolate cake on iris’s nose. Iris frowned and hit him making him laugh.

Gavin hissed and looked away, he doesn’t know why but he looked back at them…

“Love this music, come on let’s go dance!!” Luca exclaimed and pulled Iris to the dancefloor..

They smiled and began dancing to the beat of the music…

Charlotte was seen walking along the streets of New York while pressing her phone while listening to music with her earpiece.

She was dressed in a black baggy jeans with white hoodie and a white sneaker.

“I hope they’re having fun” Charlotte thought with a smile. She smiled when Kimberly sent her pictures of the party, including Iris and Luca.

She simply smiled, if Luca and Iris end up together then she’ll accept it. She’ll be happy for Iris, its not her first time of experiencing heartbreak anyways.

Charlotte walked into a store. She walked to the counter and looked at the seller.

“A pack of gum please.” Charlotte said nodded and went to look for it.

He came back with it and handed it to her. She paid for it and walked out of the store.

Charlotte threw one of the gum in her mouth and cheewed on it while walking back home.

Suddenly a man out of nowhere came and snatched her phone from her then began running away.

“Hey give that back!!” Charlotte began running behind him at full speed still the man was faster than her.

Charlotte began slowing down, slowly loosing her breath. She was surprised when a man over took her, chasing after the man.

Charlotte stopped and bent to her knees, breathing heavily. The man caught up with the pickpocket and shot his head with a stone.

He jumped on the man and hit his neck, making him pass out. The man took the phone from him and walked back to Charlotte.

“Here’s your phone miss” He said.

Charlotte looked up and took her phone from him. She smiled at him.

“Thanks very much…”

“Kaden, call me Kaden” He smiled, this I the first time seeing someone as pretty as Charlotte.

“Thanks Kaden” Charlotte smiled and turned to leave.

“Can I know your name miss?” He said.

Charlotte slightly turned back to look at him.

“Charlotte” She said and wore the cap of her hoodie then walked.

“Charlotte” Kaden repeated and smiled then turned back at the thief. He brought out his phone to call the cops…

Luca twirled Iris around and pulled her closer as they moved sideways to the rhythm of the music.

“Today is the best day of my life” Luca smiled.

Iris looked up at him and chuckled.

“Why?”

“Because I’m with you” He replied…

“Oh really…?” Iris looked away, she could sense that it will soon become weird.

Luca held her chin and made her face him. This time around, he had a serious look on his face.

“Iris, from the first day that I set my eyes on you I knew you were special and I was right. From your friendly nature, to bold and fierce attitude, to your funny vibes all that makes you special and I couldn’t help but fall for you. Iris I really love you with all my heart” Luca said softly.

Iris just stared at him, not knowing what to say. On one side is Gavin and on the other side is Luca but both of them are just friends to her, or is that so?

Luca lifted her chin up and before she could speak, he sealed her lips with a kiss pouring out all his affection on it. Iris’s eyes grew by the second.

The crowd began clapping for them…

Gavin folded his fists in anger as he just couldn’t take it. He stood up and marched to them.

The clap turned to gasps as Gavin pulled Luca away from Iris and then what followed was a punch.

“How dare you kiss her, she’s mine!!” Gavin kept punching Luca.

Luca reversed their position and began punching Gavin.

“You’re just gonna break her heart in the end!!” Luca yelled punching him.

They kept rolling like that on the floor, punching each other. Kimberly gasped and came in to stop his brother from fighting

Maxwell and the other boys came in to separate the fight but still it was really hard.

Iris just stood there on her spot watching them fight like kids. She folded her fists in anger…

“Enough!!!” She screamed.

That made everyone freeze including Luca and Gavin.

“Just look at you two. Aren’t you ashamed? Ruining your friendship all because of a girl!! Are you two happy now, you ruined the party for everyone!! What of me? Has anyone of you considered about how I feel? No, to you guys, girls are just mere toys to be claimed. That’s why I hate you men” Iris said tearfully and ran out of the crowd.

Gavin pushed the people holding him and ran after Iris. Luckily she didn’t go far so he caught up with her and hugged her from behind.

“I’m sorry Iris” Gavin muttered burrying his face her shoulder

Iris sniffed in and folded her fists in tears.

“Let me go now if you still value our friendship” Iris said in the coldest tone she could muster.

Gavin slowly retreated his hands to the sides. Iris slowly walked away…

Gavin knelt down, watching Iris walk away. Luca stood too behind them watching Iris leave.

He leaned on the wall and slowly sat down on the ground.

“I messed up big time” Gavin and Luca said at the same time.
