Chapter 57

~Red Fox Clan~

“Macho, I think you need to hear Brittany out first before passing your Judgment. Finding her bracelet there might just be a coincidence, what if someone else had dropped it there.” Scorpion spoke out angrily at Macho who paid no attention to him. He picked up a cigarette and lit it, dragging it in and puffing out a ball of smoke. They are actually in Macho’s suite; after he smacked her making her pass out, he became filled with rage and took the clan members some time to calm him down. They picked Brittany up and took her to the clan clinic, leaving Scorpion alone with him.

“Do you really think she is the mole, do you think she will want the bad of this clan. I thought you f**king love that girl Macho, I’m talking to you” Scorpion yelled

“Shut the f**k up, or I blow your brains. I’m still you boss, so get that into your f**king head. I don’t believe in love, and even if I like her, the law still remains, anyone who betrays the clan is as well as dead.” Macho snapped in anger, he took in another drag of the smoke, repeating the same process

“You need to calm down Macho; Brittany isn’t the mole here, you are just too blind to see it. Just look at this; the bracelet was found on Nora’s bed, but how sure are you that Brittany was in that ward”

“And tell me why you are defending her, huhn, or are you also working with her. Do you have anything going on with her…huhnn…answer me Scorpion?”

“Brittany was my trainee; I know how diligent she is. She isn’t a cheat, she isn’t a betrayal, only if you try stepping on her toes will she strike. I trust her more than my other students” Scorpion defended staring into Macho’s eyes

“Huhn” Macho scoffs, walking round the room with the cigarette in his hand

“Just allow her to defend herself first, then you can pass your aggressions later on. I’m out of here” Scorpion stated and left. Macho dropped the cigarette, sticking his hands into his hair as he gave a loud sigh

He doesn’t know what to believe, will Brittany really betray the clan, he is just so confuse right now.

“Hey…Brittany…wake up” Jane whispered, tapping Brittany. She fluttered her eyes after a while and looked at her

“Where…where am i?” She gruff. Jane rolled her eyes

“The clinic….i need to be fast with this. I had to beg the doctor in order to see you”

‘What’s wrong, I was in Macho’s suite earlier and now….”

“Yea, you passed out. Don’t know what happened though” Jane replied. Brittany frowns and nodded

“I think I remember now, he slapped me, but that shouldn’t have made me pass out. This is not the first time Macho will be slapping me”

“Let’s say you were not expecting it. Well, enough of that for now, my time here is limited. I think Clara is having greater plans but we are smarter” she smirked

“Perhaps she reported me?” Brittany chipped in

“Not just that; she took your bracelet as a proof. It was found on Nora’s bed, and she is gonna use it against you. Look at that nurse over there”

Brittany used the side of her eyes and caught the sight of a nurse staring at them from the far end. She pretended to look at something else beside her when she caught Brittany’s sight coming towards her direction

“Is she working for Clara?”

“I think so, she had been monitoring you since you were brought here and right now she is still watching us. I believe Clara might have paid her to do some things, and she might even have others who will support her as a false witness against you. She might be the one to have given Clara the cleaners’ uniform and a free entrance that night.” Jane explained. Brittany nodded

“She also might not be the only one, Clara thinks she is smart”

“Yea, that’s why she also implanted a recorder under your bed, she knew we had plans but don’t know what our plans are” Jane smirked, holding out something

“What!!!” Brittany gasp

“How did you find out about it?”

“Trust me when I say I used to be the most intelligent girl back then in high school. I’m super smart Brittany, in thinking and actions” Jane smiled, praising herself

“Seriously, but why did she…gosh” Brittany sighed, rubbing her temple

“That girl means you Brit, she wants to know our plan through this, but too bad, I have disconnected it already before waking you up, and trust me, there isn’t any more bug here. I pray Macho gives you the chance to defend yourself from her claims, because there surely will be false witnesses of you killing Nora. She will be shocked when she sees our evidences”

“Macho won’t do me bad, even if he doesn’t love me, he still won’t do the wrong thing” Brittany stated

“Seriously, I thought that guy loves you”

“Tsk. Those are just façade, he only wants a child with me, and I’m beginning feel like I know why he wants me to bear his child; though I’m not sure of my thoughts”

“Whatever, just be prepared. Erm…what about Brad, I haven’t seen him lately”

“Oh…he was sent on a secret mission I think”

“Hmm, I’m sure you are gonna miss him” Jane grinned

“Yea…he is my friend…so..why won’t I miss him” Brittany said, dragging her words as she stared funnily at Jane who laughed out

“No that’s not what I meant, you know…anyway forget it. Bye for now, meet you at the court room, Miss Brad” She whispered, winking at her before leaving the ward.

Brittany arched her brows.

“What does she mean by Miss Brad, does she know about my relationship with Brad” She thought inwardly.

Clara’s Suite

“So what are your next plans, we have succeeded in making them believe that Brittany was in the clinic that night” Celine muttered, cleaning her body with the towel. She just finished taking her bath

“False witnessing; I paid that foolish nurse to get me more people as a witness. They will claim that she threatened them not to speak or lose their lives. Four witnesses is enough, she will have nothing to proof, because it was confirmed that she wasn’t in her room that night, perhaps she sneaked out to have fun in the club down the street. I overheard her speaking about it with her friend the other day and got into her suite that night, so it confirms my curiosity when I didn’t see her” Clara smiled, as Celine chuckled

“That means we are leading” She stated. Just immediately, a knock came on the door.

“Come in” They ordered the person as a nurse came in, wearing casual wear. She held a frown on her face as she walked in

“How did it go Angel” Clara asked

“Oh…just two nurses agreed to work with me, but I managed to convince one cleaner, he will work with us” She smiled

“And the recorder”

“Opss…it was disconnected, I don’t know how they managed to find out, but I saw that girl…erm…what’s her name again”

“Jane?” Celine chipped in

“Oh yes, Jane…she came to see her and they talked for a while before leaving. I think she disconnected the device” Angel explained with frown

“That b!tch!!! I will crush her with my hands once I catch her” Clara snarled. Angel shrug

“I think they are working together”

“They are friends, close friends” Celine muttered

“Hope they did not notice you or any other person” Clara asked

“No, I made sure I kept my distance when watching them, too bad I couldn’t hear what they were saying since the device had been disconnected”

“Brittany won’t be expecting what we have for her; she will regret ever getting into my way” She smirked, eyeing Celine lustfully as she pulled of the towel, trying to cream her body

“Hey you, come here…let me have a taste” She winked at Celine who smirked in return, pulling off the towel totally.

“Do you think we should do this with Angel watching us” Celine asked

“I don’t mind joining you both, I’m feeling h0rny watching your sexy body right now” Angel mo@n, licking her lips as she started pulling off her cloths

“Wow, never knew you were a lesbo too…good combination” Clara smiled; taking Celine’s b00bs into her mouth as Angel caress the other.

“Oh my gawd…..” Celine mo@n as Clara fingered her h0le.

 ~A Mall~

Flora walked into the mall laughing heartedly with Karl while holding hands. She has finally accepted him though he has not proposed, but they had make out a lot, and his approach to her made her know that he loves her and will surely propose soon. But she will have to be happy just like he wants and enjoy his lovely company till he hits the nuts.

“You still haven’t told me why you are here, come on you should be at work with your boss” She rolled her eyes referring to Axel as his boss. Well, definitely she is right, but one won’t see them both as boss and employee, they acts like friends which they are.

“I’m on a free day today, we don’t have schedules so I’m free” He smiled, winking at her. She blushed and tried to turn away so that he won’t see her cheeks

“Was that red paste on your cheek?” He teased; she chuckled and taps his shoulder

“Stop that….come on lets go shop”

“I will need to go to the men cloth section then, see ya when you are done, because I know you will spend more than two hours” He stated, while she pouted

“That’s not fair, why will you say that?” She whined. He chuckled pinching her cheek softly

“Because that’s what all women do, spend time in shopping. The truth is bitter” He pecked her cheek and left. She smiled broadly and proceeded to get her things.

Few minutes after picking the necessary clothes she needed, she proceeded to the shoe section and sighted a shoe which attracted her. She went forward to grab it but someone beat her to it, dragging it out of her grip

“That’s mine, idiot” She knows of one person who calls her that; Sophia. She scoffs at her and tried dragging it off, but Sophia won’t back down

“Why the hell did you take it” Flora yelled

“Oh…oh…don’t bite me miss tiger, I ain’t your prey okay” Sophia scoffs. Flora rolled her eyes

“Give me back my shoe…I took it first, stop being a criminal for once, taking what belongs to others” She spat. This annoyed Sophia but she tried to keep it cool so that Flora won’t think she succeeded in making her angry. She faked a smile

“Oh…really…I don’t mind being a thief, it’s better than being a cheat” She snarled, happy at Flora’s sad look

“Tell me who is the cheat, you or me” Flora flared

“You of course, or who else will cheat on her boyfriend and end up having s*x with his brother too” Sophia smirked. Flora was shocked beyond words, she couldn’t believe her ears.

“Cat caught your tongue?” Sophia grinned

“What…..what do you mean?”

“You know what I mean, mind you; I believe you couldn’t control your urge. Just a piece of advice, always minds what you eat and drink in a party, okay” She pinched her cheek

“You b!tch….f**k you, damn you Sophia” Flora yelled with tears already tickling down her eyes. Sophia laughed

“And one more thing, if you try to do anything stupid, just know that I have the video, so don’t try rubbish with me dear, or you know what I can do.” She threatened

“Take this…poor people like you fight over things that don’t worth lot” She threw the shoes at her, rolling her eyes as she turned to leave. The scene of that day started replaying itself in Flora’s head, starting from the party till when she got the message on her phone, how she started feeling h0rny which is unusual, and how she ended up with Aiden. She has been framed all along. She remembered Sophia smirking at her at the party, now it’s clear.

“Sophia drugged my drink” She muttered with tears already getting sticky on her cheeks.

“She sets us up and got the video….no…no” She mumbled sinking on her knees

Karl who had been looking for her walked towards where she knelt and smiled, but it became a frown when he saw her expression.

“Flora…..what’s wrong” He asked her but she ignored him, sniffing in. She cleaned her tears and stood up.

“Let’s get out of here” She muttered, putting on her sunshade

“What’s wrong with her” Karl thoughts within
