“Summon Khalil and that useless Reina… Now!!!” Guillermo said with nothing but raw anger in his face….

“Wait calm down son, why getting so pumped up?” King Rhys smiled.

“Just do what I ask of you” Liam said and walked out heading to the meeting room..

He walked in and sat down at the head of the table with his thoughts on no one else but Kadence.

“Brother?” A voice said.

Liam smiled and looked up at Khalil. His eyes, facial expression, tone, everything changed in his except his physique. From the calm and carefree Liam to a quite hot tempered and rude Liam.

“Oh, here is my brother. The one who always fail even to do simple instructions given to them” Liam said, standing up from his seat.

“What are you talking about?” Khalil frowned..

“I’m talking about the attack. How dare you launch and attack on the supernatural without my consent?!” Liam scowled in anger.

“Wait, so because I attacked without your consent that’s why you’re like this. That’s stupid!” Khalil mocked and rolled his eyes.

“You summoned me here your highness” Reina said and walked in then bowed at Liam. Well they have been communicating in school and she’s the one telling him the updates of what’s happening here.

Liam folded his fists in anger. He isn’t angry because they attacked without his consent. He’s angry because they surprised him, what if Kadence wasn’t with him by then. She could have either been a vampire or worst still dead. Just the thought of it infuriated him…

Zara walked in too and froze when she saw Liam. What is he doing in the demon kingdom?

“Well guess what, your pathetic plan didn’t work. The supernatural double crossed us. They knew you were going to attack. Seem like there’s a snitch in this kingdom too and that person is leaking our plans to them” Liam said.

Khalil turned to Reina and Zara who jolted…

“Reina, Zara are you the ones who are reporting to the supernatural?” Khalil asked calmly.

“Of course not!” They chorused.

“Better hope so for if I find out one of you are betraying me, you’ll become history” Khalil said and turned to Liam.

“What proves me that you’re not the betrayer. Huh Guillermo?” Khalil asked.

“Are you insinuating I’m a cheap backstabber” Liam said as the black tattoo started appearing round his right arm.

Well apart from being a demon, Liam has another power. The power to totally mask his ability and powers such that to others he’ll look like a harmless human…

“You got me right” Khalil smirked and glared at him…

“Don’t tell me you two are about to start fighting again?” Rhys said while walking I the room..

“Your useless son thinks I’m a betrayer” Liam said.

“I just asked a question. A simple yes or no would have do” Khalil rolled his eyes.

“Just look at you fighting like kids. Instead of engaging in another fight that’ll destroy another one of my palace why don’t you get to work?!” King Rhys said while walking away.

Guillermo glared at Khalil. Khalil turned to leave buy halted on his tracks.

“Before you say I’m hiding something from you, I ordered the vampire to attack and ki*ll everyone present at the ball” Khalil said and left.

Liam felt his heart skip a beat.

“Oh no! Kadence!!” His brain ringed.

Reina and Zara followed suit. Zara held a look of shock on her face like never before.

“Liam is the crowned prince of the demon kingdom. Kadence fell in love with a demon Prince?” Zara kept wondering while going.

“Sh*t!!” Liam muttered and disappeared then appeared in his room.

His room was really spacious with only the candle lights lightening it up. The decorations of the room was black and red. Looks really creepy…

Guillermo walked to a hanger then removed his black cloak from there then wore it.

“Hope you’re safe” He muttered and covered his face. The black tattoo covered his right arm like before.

With a blink of an eye, he vanished heading to the ball.

Kadence was sitting at an empty corridor, crying her eyes out. She rested her head on her knee as she hugged them crying silently.

“I hate this school. Want to go back to the way my life was before” Kadence muttered…

Kadence suddenly stopped crying when sge heard someone crying too. She stood up and walked to where the person is. The person looked up, surprising Kadence.

“Kaitlyn” Kadence muttered.

Kaitlyn quickly wiped off her tears and sniffed sadly looking away.

“What do you want?” She muttered.

“Why are you crying?” Kadence asked, sitting beside her.

Kaitlyn broke into tears again…

“I’m just so tired of this f*vking life of a princess. Our whole race depends on me, humanity depends on me. All my life has been decided by others. My husband will be choosed by the council, I have to become the hero everyone wants me to be. Don’t have any right to mingle with the ordinary people. I’m just so sick and tired of all this! My life is in danger for who knows what?!” She said in anguish.

Kadence rubbed her shoulder.

“It’s alright. I kinda understand you, all these must be hard for you.” Kadence said.

“And adding to all these, I don’t even have a family someone to share my grievances with” Kaitlyn sighed.

“Well same thing with me. I never knew who my parents are… My family depends solely on me for a better future…Plus love isn’t meant for me” Kadence sighed sadly.

“Sorry about-”

“Ahh!!! Vampires!!! Help!!!” They heard the voice of a lady screaming. The lady ran pass them.

Kaitlyn and Kadence quickly stood up, wondering what is happening. Suddenly around 15 vampires appeared in front of them.

Kaitlyn stood up and tore her gown, making it shorter. She folded her fists ready to fight.

“Go away! I’ll distract them.” Kaitlyn said.

“Never cower up. Be bold and brave, I trust you” Liam’s word rang in her head.

With determined looks, she stood and tore her dress then came and Backed Kaitlyn.

“No, I’ll fight with you!” Kadence replied with determined eyes.

The vampires launched at them. They began fighting fiercely…

“An ambush again?!” Coach Travis said while fighting.

Right now, the ball was ruined. Those who knew how to fight, were fighting while those who didn’t tried to save their lives…

“Protect the princess?! Where’s Kaitlyn?!” The head guard screamed. The guard soon began searching for Kaitlyn.

The fight was going on outside too. The vampires came in their numbers and were slowly defeating the guards.

“Burn into ashes!!!” Emma spatted as she watched the vampires burn while they scream in agony.

“I need to find K-d!” She ran back into the castle.

“This girl is really strong!” A guard commented as they watch Emma run away.

Lisa and Eric backed each other while fighting. They combined their powers then made a giant water ball which they charged it at the vampires.

Connor ran heading outside in order to help the guards which were fighting outside.

“Everybody move!?” Connor screamed.

The guards quickly pulled away to a safe distance. Connor’s eyes turned gray and he lifted his hand up in the air.

The wind slowly began blowing more and more increasing in intensity. Suddenly a giant tornado was spinning.

Connor directed it the vampires. It picked Each and everyone of them… Connor smirked…

“Diamond High are really producing great warriors.” A guard commented…

“Die!!” Ava spatted and controlled a gigantic rock. She directed it to a group of vampires.

It smashed them down, crushing them completely. Her eyes changed back from yellow to normal.

Ava then looked at Jody’s side. A vampire came to attack Jody but Jody caught the vampire’s neck and suddenly her eyes changed to blue.

“Look into my eyes…Go and fight the other vampires of your kind. Make you ki*ll them all” She said.

The vampire nodded like a fool and went away, fighting it’s kind…

Something suddenly passed over her. Something that looked like a dark shadow. The shadow sped in the castle…

“They’re increasing in their numbers” Kadence said breathing heavily killing another vampire who came to attack her.

“Let’s keep on. Where are those st*pid guards when you need them” Kaitlyn replied breathing heavily too.

Suddenly the vampires stopped moving and they all dropped dead. Their body started dissipating to dust creating a smoky environment.

Kaitlyn and Kadence squinted their eyes as they could see a silhouette standing there.

The smoke dissipated and the person came to view, revealing the black cloaked demon.

“The demon” Kaitlyn and Kadence chorused.

Kaitlyn folded her fists in anger then launched at him thinking that he came for her.

She threw punches at him but he effortlessly dodged her attacks. The demon held her right wrist, twisted it to the back and hit her neck. She passed out on the floor…

The demon then looked up at Kadence. Kadence folded her fists, ready in case he attacks.

The black cloaked demon stood there, looking at Kadence. He suddenly vanished away.

Before Kadence could breath in relief, he appeared back in front of her. Kadence made to punch him but he caught her two wrists then pinned it on the wall.

Before Kadence could fight back, he pressed his lips on her forehead making Kadence to freeze on her spot.

What does this demon want from her? Could it perhaps like her? Why is he doing all these? He kills but protects her. All these reminded her greatly of someone whom she wished her heart could just forget.

The demon pulled out when he felt Kaitlyn groan. He released Kadence and quickly vanished away.

Kadence stood there lost for about 3mins before she got back to her senses. She rushed to Kaitlyn, helping her up.

“The vampires are all gone now” She said to Kaitlyn…
