“Who are you?” Zara asked, slowly backing out…

“Well since you insist I’m gonna tell you but shhh….if you tell on me, I promise you won’t live a day to testify it” Reina spoke.

“I’m Reina… A demon of high rank” She spoke and sat down on the bed, crossing her legs over the other.

Zara scanned her from head to toe. She was barely naked with a very short back skirt and a top that barely covered her huge b**bs.

“So you were Nancy all along…” Zara asked.

Reina scoffed and rolled her eyes…

“Nope, Nancy is dead since morning” Reina spoke admiring her long nails…

Zara froze. So all these is true, all along she thought that demons and vampire are just stories but its really true and she has one of them standing in front of her.

A drop of tear fell from her eyes. Nancy is really dead??

“Come on baby girl, don’t cry. Her life was meaningless by the way” Reina whispered in her ear.

Zara jolted back, she didnt even know when she appeared in front of her.

“So do you wanna be part of our legacy” Reina smiled.

“I…I don’t…I don’t know!” Zara opened the door and ran out.

Reina chuckled and crossed her arms under her chest.

“Let’s see for how long you’ll resist” Reina said and transformed back to Nancy before walking out of the room…

Training ground, 07:12pm**

“Focus Kitty…” Liam said as he threw Kadence down for the fifth time.

“But how will I focus when you’re my major distraction” Kadence thought.

Liam sighed and shook his head, he just read her thoughts…

“Let’s start it back again. Fight me” Liam said.

Kadence folded her fists and with a determined look on her face, she attacked Liam.

She threw punches at him but he swiftly dodged it. He threw a punch at her and she ducked and made to tackle him but he jumped up.

Kadence quickly stood up and threw a kick on his face but he caught her legs and flipped it making her jump up. Kadence did a summersault and landed on the ground with one knee down. She looked up at Liam.

“Thats more like it, you’re making great improvement” Liam said and smiled.

Kadence smiled too as her heart raced. If only he knew how happy she was. Liam helped her up…

“Let’s stop here for today. Tomorrow we shall continue” Liam spoke.

“Alright” Kadence said and they left the training ground. Liam escorted her to room.

“Bye Liam” Kadence smiled and entered her room.

“Bye Kitty” He whispered and left too…

Kadence took a shower and wore a black oversized shirt then went to her bed. Lisa and Sophia were already fast asleep…

“Time to see what this book holds” She thought and sat down comfortably on her bed then brought out the book she bought from the library.

She flipped to the page she stopped and began reading.

“Two creatures were against the idea, the vampires and the demons. The vampires are the creature of the night. The sunlight is their vulnerability but the demons are powerful than the vampires. The demon are mostly those with royal blood linage in them except the seven deadly sins… The vampires and demons had very bad intention for the human. They wanted to make the humans their slaves but the goddess of supernaturals was against the idea. That created a rift between the creatures of the night and the supernatural. For years, the fight has still been on till date the fight is still going on. It says that ‘Two creatures will come hither and mend what was broken out of hatred to that of love’” Kadence read and looked up in confusion.

“Who can it be? Maybe its princess Kaitlyn” Kadence shrugged and closed the book then placed it back where she took it from.

“Two creatures will come hither and mend what was broken out of hatred to that of love” Kadence repeated and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep…

“I already communicated the info to our prince” Reina said while wearing her school uniform.

“Good, now I need you to find that darn princess and also try to convince her to join us” Khalil spoke to her through the magical mirror.

“Alright, as you wish your highness” Reina said and Khalil’s image disappeared from the mirror.

She picked up her bag and walked out of the room. Zara never came back to their room since yesterday.

“You’re late Nancy” The biology teacher said.

Reina snubbed him and went to her seat then sat down. She could see the teacher was a human.

“I’m talking to you and you’re…”

Just a look from Reina was enough to shut him up. He began teaching like nothing was wrong.

Kaitlyn who was sitting by her right looked at her strangely. Reina turned and looked at her too, a slight smile curved on her lips. She looked front again and pretended to be listening to the lectures.

“Here, open up….ahh…” Connor said.

Sophia chuckled and opened her mouth, he fed her the strawberry. They only had one class for today which was biology and it was over.

Sophia chewed on the strawberry and a spoon on ice cream to Connor’s lips. He opened his mouth.

She diverted the spoon and ate the ice cream. Connor pouted sadly with a frown on his face.

“You look cute when you pout” Sophia said and pecked his cheek.

See, I told you they were a thing!

Sophia is so lucky!!

The girls who were entering the canteen commented.

“Since today is our free day, I’m going to throw some balls” Connor spoke.

“You mean basketball, sure I’ll go with you” Sophia replied and fed him then wiped the ice cream which was on his lips.

“Nice, I’ll teach you how to play it” Connor winked and pulled her closer placing her head on his shoulder…

Kadence was sitting at the edge of the pool with her legs in water. She was dressed in a swimming suit with her hair packed up in a messy bun.

“I’m sure Sophia has forgotten that we were supposed to swim together. Gosh!, ever since her and Connor began dating the rest don’t exist. Oppressing me anyhow” Kadence talked to herself..

“And Emma who’s also busy with the work madam Lucy gave her.” Kadence spoke kicking her feets in the water.

🎶 But all those are just mere….dreams…

Suddenly something caught her leg which was inside water.

“Ahhhh!!!!” She screamed as she was being pulled inside water.

She emerged from the water and gasped loudly then removed some strand of her wet hair from her face. Her hair sprawl over the water since the water undid her bun.

“Are f*vking crazy!?” She screamed in anger but stopped when she saw who it was.

“Never knew you could sing?” Liam smiled at her.

“You were here all along??” She wondered out loud. How was he able to stay under water for like 10 mins.

Her thoughts were cut shut when her gaze traveled to his face. His hair was all wet making it stick on his muscular face plus that usual passive look on his face made him look…hot!

Her gaze traveled down to his bare body. His biceps, abs, chest, broad shoulders…

“Stop drooling over me. I know I have a killer body but don’t abuse” He said and flicked her forehead.

“Ouch…” She frowned and touched her forehead.

Liam walked and sat down at the edge of the swimming pool. Kadence’s lips formed and ‘O’

“Wow, never knew you were into tattoo” Kadence spoke..

“Oh, that well yeah. That’s like totem spirit” Liam said.

Kadence went to his back and crouched down admiring the tattoo which was on his back. It was a dragon tattoo that covered like almost all his back.

Kadence touched his Back and grazed her fingers through the tattoo. The details were really good!

Kadence sat down beside him and looked front not knowing what to say.

“I’ve never heard you talk about your family” Liam spoke.

Kadence sighed.

“Well about my real family, I don’t know if they’re alive or death. I was picked up and raised by a humble family who had a daughter around my age. It’s Zara. Sadly she hates me for no reasons” Zara narrated.

“Our background is slightly the same” Liam replied.

“Really? Wh-”

Liam pushed her in the water before she could finish her statement. He jumped in too…

“Let’s swim” He said and dipped his head inside water.

Kadence looked round and could see his silhouette swimming inside water. He emerged and swept his hair backwards.

Kadence scooped water and splashed it on his face.

“Kitty stop that” Liam chuckled for the first time…

Kadence splashed water again on him. He blocked his face squinting his eyes…

Suddenly he caught Kadence’s arm and pulled her closer to him. She crashed on his bare chest.

They stared into each other’s eyes. Liam looked down at her face, from her puppy eyes to her pointed nose and then to her red kissable lips.

He tugged her hair behind her ear making Kadence shiver. Liam slowly leaned in. Kadence closed her eyes, wondering what he’ll do next.

Liam’s lips brushed on her cheek…

“Must you always be so tempting and beautiful?” He whispered to her ears and then released her taking a step back.

“Hey, let’s leave before you catch a cold.” Liam spoke which brought her back to reality.

“Uh….Uhm alright, yeah…alright” She stuttered, trying as much as possible to hide the blush creeping on her cheek.

Liam shook his head and smiled.

“I’ll leave you to dress” He said and turned then walked out. His countenance immediately changed and he sighed, feeling bothered before leaving.
