AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Hey babe why’s your face like this?” Emma asked and Rowen burst into laughter.

“Why are you laughing? What’s funny?” Emma asked with a frown.

“I’m sorry I don’t have a choice but to laugh you’re very funny, Anyway we are playing a game with Mr. Maxwell” Rowen replied.

“Game what type of game is that?” Emma asked.

“It’s called men game” Mr. Maxwell replied with a smirk.

“And Mr. Maxwell was trying to outsmart us,” Rowen said. “You’re very wise to figure that out” Mr. Maxwell replied.

“You haven’t touched your cake, why don’t you like it?” Mrs. Maxwell asked.

.”I do,” Rowen said and take a bite from it.

“I thought you won’t eat it,” Austin said chewing from his cake.

“Why did you think he won’t eat it?” Mrs. Maxwell asked.

“Because he doesn’t like eating from outsiders” Austin replied.

“We aren’t outsiders, right? We are your in-laws to be” Mrs. Maxwell replied and Rowen nodded his head.

“You’re a good cook the cake is very sweet,” Rowen said with a smile.

“Yeah my wife is a great cook unlike your girlfriend, she can’t boil water for coffee,” Mr. Maxwell said.

“And you think you can disgrace me in the presence of my boyfriend,” Emma said with a frown.

“He can’t disgrace you because I know you can’t cook, don’t worry I’ll always cook for you I don’t get tired of that” Rowen said.

“I’ll be right back, I need to prepare lunch for you guys,” Mrs. Maxwell said and stood up. “Who are your parents?” Mr. Maxwell asked.

“Mr. Hunt is my father” Rowen replied. “Wait, you’re Hunt son Rowen?” Mr. Maxwell asked surprised.

“Yes, I’m did you know him?” Rowen ask.

“Sure I did, you’re highly welcome, in fact, I love this” Mr. Maxwell said.

“Thanks, sir” Rowen replied with a smile. “Sandra will be surprised,” Mr. Maxwell said to himself.

“I heard you ran away from home, why did you do that? Or did you guys plan to run away together, I mean you and Emma” Mr. Maxwell asked.

“I met Emma in Paris, dad has been a bone in my flesh, he always wants me to do his wish which he didn’t do mine” Rowen replied.

“I also learned my lesson, if we didn’t pressurize Emma to get married she won’t have run away, anyway it’s a good thing she found love,” Mr. Maxwell said.

Austin called Emma with his hand and Emma scoffed. “What happened? Why are you calling me?” Emma asked with an eye roll.

“I need to see you for something important,” Austin said and Emma hissed out loud. “Please,” Austin said and Emma walked to his side.

“I haven’t seen Brittany since I came here did she go on a date?” Austin asked and Emma burst into laughter.

“What are you guys talking about?” Rowen ask. “Jealousy face your front” Emma replied.

“Yes, she went on a date with a handsome guy I wish you can see the guy,” Emma said.

“Really?” Austin asked with a frown.

“Yes hope no problem?” Emma asked.

“Yes, there’s no problem” Austin replied with a pout.

“But you aren’t smiling again, did you love Brittany?” Emma asked.

“Something like that, why will she even go on a date with s guy” Austin shout out loud and Rowen burst into laughter.

“My best friend is in love,” Rowen said.

“Just keep quiet” Austin replied.

“What happened to him? Emma what did you do to him?” Mr. Maxwell asked. “I did nothing” Emma replied.

Some hours later.

“Thanks very much for entertaining us,” Rowen said with a smile.

“Our pleasure thanks for coming and also send our regards to your parents” Mrs. Maxwell replied.

“Alright, I’ll” Rowen replied. “I’ll be expecting you tomorrow or next I have a surprise for you,” Rowen said.

“Really? I love surprised, I’ll come next tomorrow, I’m going to somewhere with mum tomorrow” Emma said.

“Alright,” Rowen said and hug Emma to hiself.

“Let’s go inside,” Mrs. Maxwell said and cover her husband’s face with her hand.

“Why are you covering my face?” Mr. Maxwell asked.

“I don’t want you to see their make out” Mrs. Maxwell replied. “They want to make out in my house?” Mr. Maxwell asked with a frown and Mrs. Maxwell burst into laughter.

“We can go make out inside our room,” Mrs. Maxwell said. “Oh that’s great,” Mr. Maxwell said and lift Mrs. Maxwell off the ground.

“Hmm I’m lonely,” Austin said.

“Kiss me!” Emma said and touching her lips with her hand and Rowen kissed her immediately.

“What’s the meaning of this? Are you guys trying to remind me I’m Single?” Austin asked.

He shoved his mouth in his mouth and kissed her deeper.

Rowen removed his tongue from her mouth, he tilted her head and started trailing kisses along her jawline down to her neck.

Emma closes her eyes enjoying the feeling and trying hard to hold back the moan.

She moaned out when she can’t take it anymore. “Am I watching a life pórn now?” Austin asked before walking to the car.

They were both engrossed in the kiss that Rowen doesn’t know when his hand get under her blouse and started folding with her brea$t.

Emma comes back to her senses and stops the kîss.

“Why did you stop me?” Rowen asks with a frown.

“You almost put off my blouse in public, our security is busy feeding his eyes with our makeout” Emma replied with a smile and Rowen nod his head.

“We will continue when I come to your house,” Emma said with a wink.

“I can’t wait to see you,” Rowen said.

“And I can’t wait to see the surprise you have for me” Emma replied.

“Austin are you angry?” Emma asked with a smirk.

“You guys should go and continue” Austin replied and his phone rang out loud. “My secretary, why is she calling me?” Austin asked and pick up the call immediately.

“We need you in the office right away sir,” Her secretary said. “what if I haven’t come back?” Austin asked with a frown.

“I’m sorry sir your file needs your signature and I’ll be submitting it by 6 pm” The secretary replied.

“Why can’t you just sign it?” Austin asked. “I can’t sir” the security replied.

“Alright I’ll be there in the next one hour,” Austin said and end the call.

“Tell Brittany to please pick up my calls, I don’t know why she has been avoiding my calls, I brought something for her, but I can’t drop it since she’s not around,” Austin said and Emma nod her head in support.

Rowen insert his hand in his pocket and brought out a gold chain. “Turn around,” Rowen said with a smile and Emma turn around immediately.

Rowen put the chain on her neck and she screamed out loud immediately she saw it.

” Oh my goodness! You bought this for me, this is fûcking expensive” Emma shouted.

“You’re also expensive” Rowen replied and blow her a kiss before walking to his call.

“I’ll see you soon, right? Rowen ask.

“Sure I’m missing you already,” Emma said with a pout.

“You guys are fûvking wasting my time” Austin growled. “We are sorry sir” Emma replied and Rowen smack his head.

“Instead of you to say sorry you’re hitting my head, I’ll pay you back in your own coin,” Austin said with a smirk.

“Austin will soon be back with Rowen I can’t wait to hook you guys up,” Mrs. Hunt said with a smile.

“But I don’t love him” Brittany replied. “Your face is saying another thing, which means you love him,” Mrs. Hunt said.

“Let me teach you how the make a good it’s very good to learn from other experiences, peer pressure affected my marriage a lot, When you’re married with kids and you have a thriving career, the first thing that slips away in your daily life is “you time.” I didn’t ask you not to work but always create time for your family” she said.

“Mum are you a marriage counselor, I haven’t even gotten married and you’re telling me all this” Brittany said. “I’m telling you all this so you can learn from it” Mrs. Hunt replied.

“Maybe some other time I need to rest,” Brittany said.

“Oh my bad, you need to rest, I’ll go play with Sophia” she replied. “My love” Mr. Hunt called.

“I’m not your love,” Mrs. Hunt said. “I’m sorry, I don’t know that Alicia get pregnant for me,” Mr. Hunt said.

“Did you tell me you’ve a Mistress when we settled our dispute?” Mrs. Hunt asked.

“I’m sorry I can’t just bring myself to tell you, I was ashamed of myself” Mr. Hunt replied. “Okay,” Mrs. Hunt replied.

“Does that means you have forgiven me?” Mr. Hunt asked. “I didn’t say that” Mrs. Hunt replied with a frown. “I know you have forgiven me,” Mr. Hunt said with a smile.
