CHAPTER FORTY-SIX.

 

 

“Argh! You imbecile! What did I tell you?” Drako was beyond mad.

How could his men be stupid enough to not inform Michelle about His daughter.

“I’m sorry boss but I did warn her not touch the young miss but she ignored.” His subordinate kneeled down for he knew the boss had a bad temper and he was also ready to die.

“That bas***d killed my men! I’m gonna ki*ll him.” Drako broke the glass of wine in his hand.

Xavier killed his best men and he wasn’t gonna let that go.

He picked up his gun and fired at the incompetent idiot kneeling before him.

“That’s what you get to being stupid.” He mumbled and the rest of his men bow down in fear.

“Find out which Hospital she’s admitted to and send her gifts.” Xavier keep sabotaging his plans and this was really driving him crazy.

“Yes boss.” They all scrawled away scared they might end up like the other guy.

Once he was alone he picked up another glass and served himself.

“You’re seriously becoming annoying now I’m starting to regret not killing you and your pathetic father.” He chuckled inwardly and smashed the glass again.

“I might as well end your miserable life once and for all.” He burst into laughter.

 

Xavier might be filthy rich and also an overlord but that doesn’t mean he’s completely invincible.

“Don’t worry Kathelia you’ll soon be with daddy.” He smiled devilishly as he thought of a plan.

Meanwhile the couple were back in the mansion for Xavier insisted she’s treated at the mansion.

Ofcourse he knew That man would try to make a move and he couldn’t risk putting Gabrielle in danger again.

“I want ice cream please.” Gabby pouted her lips but Xavier was determined to not be swayed by those poppy eyes.

“I’m sorry but you can’t have that now.” He turned her down and Gabby faked a cry.

“Great! Let’s get divorced then. You don’t want me anymore!” She cried and Xavier could only heaved a sigh.

How did he end up with someone so childish?

“That’s not-”

 

“I’m not important to you anymore!”

“Wait-”

“You’re cheating on me right?”

“Argh! Okay fine I’m gonna get you ice cream but just this once.” His wife was indeed manipulative who was he to say no?

“Yay! You’re the best husband in the world.” She winked at him happily and Xavier rolled his eyes.

“You’re so dramatic.” He chuckled softly and walked outta the room to get her ice cream.

What Gabrielle didn’t know was that he’d stocked up the fridge with different flavors of ice cream.

He took out a strawberry and chocolate flavor before heading back upstairs, he found George waiting at the door of his study which only means he’s got news for him.

Xavier gave him a nod before walking towards the bedroom where he found Gabrielle playing candy crush on her phone.

“Yay! You’re amazing.” She giggled and took the ice creams from him.

 

“I’ll be right back, don’t do anything stupid.” He warned and she rolled her eyes.

He left her in the room and went over to his study where Secretary George was waiting.

“What do you have for me?” He asked the moment he stepped into his study.

“We’ve successfully acquired A&A Inc under your wife’s name. Her birthday is coming up so we should be able to take out the gold in federal reserve.” George informed his boss who seem to be in deep thoughts.

Xavier could tell it was Russian gold that was hidden in the federal reserve

“Good.. anything else?”

“Yes.. the lady wasn’t lying and I also discard the bodies of the men.”

 

“Did you find anything outta the ordinary?” He asked for he sure they were Missing something important.

Drako is trying to lead them into making a mistake unfortunately Xavier could easily see through his so called invincible plans.

“All the communications with Michelle were made using a burner phone so it’s impossible to track down the location.”

 

“Hm… Tell your men to make themselves invincible as possible.. if I’m correct he’s probably planning on making a move.”
