CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

 

 

“You shouldn’t be.” He whispered and held her close but careful not to reopen her wounds.

“No I was being stubborn and I should have listened to you and not go out.” She mumbled softly earning a sigh from him.

“I can’t hold you Indoors forever.” He smiled and planted kisses on her face.

Gabby felt that strange and she couldn’t help but be emotional.

He claimed to be a cold blooded billionaire but here he was treating her with care.

He claimed to be using her for revenge but that wasn’t the case.

He has never maltreated her for once. He cared for her like he knew me for ages.

I couldn’t understand why he could still care for the daughter of his enemy, she didn’t understand what was going on in his head.

“Sleep okay?” She said and called her eyes.

A silent tear rolled down her cheeks.

“Hm.” He closed his eyes also while cuddling her.

Once she’d fallen asleep he let go of her and gotta the bed.

“I’ll be right back love.” He muttered under his breath and placed a kiss on her forehead before walking away.

He was gonna make every single person involved pay for laying their filthy hands on his wife.

He found George by the car and got in without a word.

“Still refusing to talk?” He asked and George shook his head.

“She insisted on see you.” Michelle was kept at a prison in the underworld where she would be tortured slowly but still made sure she was alive.

If she passed out from too much pain they would wake her up and continued with the torture.

Killing her immediately would be granting her a respectful death and Xavier don’t plan on killing her easily.

He was gonna break her mentally, emotionally and physically.. she would begged to be killed when she can’t take it anymore.

The pulled up at the usual spot and someone came out to welcome the boss.

“Boss! You came!” A guy in his late 20’s spoke excitedly as he walked hand in hand with his boss.

“Hm I came…did you treat our guest well?” Xavier asked with a smile plastered on his face.

Chad was known to be a pyschopath, he loved inflicting pain on his prison and Xavier is sure Michelle would definitely be given a welcome party.

“Ofcourse I gave a special treatment I’m sure you’re gonna love it.” He happily announced and Xavier gave him a small nod.

After going through so many turns they finally arrived at her cell and the dreadful smell of blood could make anyone puke.

Xavier walked in and found her chained to the chair as her face have been damaged by hot water.

It was a horrible sight to behold.

She looked like a zombie as she looked like she was gonna die.

“Pump some adrenaline into her body and start the special treatment.” He commanded and took a seat opposite her.

Michelle was forced to wake up and she looked at Xavier in horror.

“Lord Xavier please I’m sorry please let me go!” She screamed in pain for she knew her face had been ruined for life.

Two fingers from her toe have been cut off and she looked pathetic.

“You know I would have turned a blind eye when you tried to create problems for me but you just had to touch my wife… Wrong move dear.” Xavier smiled mischievously and looked at Chad who was waiting for his orders.

“Please I beg of you! Please I promise to disappear forever please just let me go.” She cried helplessly as regret washed through her.

She should have listened to Drako and let her be.

“Remove two of her fingers.” Xavier commanded and Chad happily picked up his tool and walked towards Michelle who shook her head in fear.

“No! Please don’t come any closer!” She screamed out loud even though she knew no one would hear her no matter how hard she tried.

Chad held onto her wrist ready to cut of her fingers when she gave up and decided to tell the truth.

She was gonna die anyway so what’s there to hide.

“I’ll talk! Please don’t!… It’s Drako! He Made me do it!” She yelled and Chad stopped.
