MADALITSO – Episode 13

Linda ignored Mrs Musonda’s calls but she was persistent so she picked up the fifth time

Linda: what can I do for you old woman?

Mrs Musonda: Linda, you’re in danger

Linda: don’t spoil my mood, I’ll come and see you tomorrow for that issue

Mrs Musonda: I can strongly feel it but can’t tell what’s going to happen

Linda: and I’m now a victim of your false prophecies and charms

Mrs Musonda: make sure you come here tomorrow

Linda: yes I will besides my daughter is in need of something

Mrs Musonda: I’ll be waiting (she hang up)

Linda: ummm…I’m sorry about that, that’s my…..my…..cousin she’s a prophetess

Agent 33: that’s okay darling

Linda smiled like a retard and thought the journey home was a long one until they finally arrived getting in the lounge and she started kissing him

Agent33: whoa!!! slow down, who is here?

Linda: my daughter

Agent33: go and freshen up while I prepare us something to eat

Linda: okay

She attempted to walk away when Taonga screamed from upstairs

Taonga: mom, his so hot where did you get him from?

Linda: awe Taonga bakulu (No, Taonga he’s an adult)

Taonga: and so?

Agent33: excuse me

He went to the kitchen and left them arguing until they stopped and he set the table then Linda walked in with a red,revealing night gown and he pulled the chair for her to sit

Agent33: where’s your daughter?

Linda: she’s gone out

Agent33: this time!!! when is she likely to return

Linda: she’s spending the night out

They started eating and halfway through the meal Linda felt her head heavy and started seeing blurred visions, it was long before she collapsed

Agent33 searched the whole house and found nothing related to Madalitso then took Agent 67’s black card and left returning to Robert

Robert: how did it go?

Agent33: I searched the whole house but there’s was nothing that showed the girl’s existence

Robert got angry but still managed to keep calm, Agent33 told Lindiwe about Mrs Musonda while Robert got busy with other things

Robert: let’s see what 67 comes with

Linda got up the following morning with a pounding headache but managed to drag herself to the bathroom and did her hygiene process then called Veronica to meet her at her office, she opted for black ripped jeans and a maroon vest then took her purse where she noticed that the black card was missing and she drove to her office like a maniac calling Michael then he answered on the third ring

Michael: Linda, did you have to disturb me this early morning?

Linda: I’m in deep sh*t

Michael: and I warned you to keep me away from it

Linda: please I’m begging you to meet me at my office

Michael: No, I’m not

Linda: Michael please, even if its the last favour you’ll ever do for me

Michael: alright (he hang up)

“You fool, I’m going to spend your money lime my life depends on it you fool,” she said to herself as she drove in high speed. She arrived at her office and was met by Agent67

Agent67: you surely took your precious time to get here, didn’t you?

Linda: I’m sorry (she was shaking)

Agent67: who’s the girl?

Linda: follow me

She led him to Tapiwa who looked like she’d died a thousand deaths because of Madalitso’s disappearance

and she went away

Tapiwa: I’m sorry I can’t offer any services, I’m not in any state for that

Agent67: why is that?

Tapiwa: I can’t tell you anything

Agent67: maybe I might help you

He handed her a handkerchief and she cried till she was only left with hiccups

Agent67: want to talk about it?

She told him everything about Madalitso and everyone who was involved, he felt bad but couldn’t express it

Agent67: I have to take my leave now

Tapiwa: and what you came for?

Agent67: some other time

Tapiwa: but the boss…….

Agent67: she won’t know

Linda was telling Veronica about what happened the previous night when Michael walked in

Michael: Linda you called for me?

Linda: (kneeling down) please Michael, I lost a client’s black card yesterday and he’ll be here for it please help me with cash

Michael: No, you didn’t lose it coz I know how careful you are when it comes to money issues

She explained everything that happened then someone got in without knocking

Agent67: I’m here for my item

Linda: Michael please

Agent67 took a close look at him then Linda got up and went to search her purse emptying it

Linda: ummm…. I think I forgot it at home, can you come for it tomorrow??

Agent67: and if I don’t find it tomorrow then I’m reporting this issue and you know what happens to this disgusting place

Linda: yes sir

Agent67 walked out and they all looked at her then Michael shook his head

Michael: I’ll lend you some cash when I sell the organs

Veronica: yeah its time you killed the girl and pay him back his money

Linda: this place is congested and someone might suspect something

Veronica: take her to my shop and we’ll go to my mother and do it

Linda: I never wanted to use that money on any debt

Veronica: but there’s nothing we can do Linda

Linda received a message from the bank saying K10,000 had been deducted from her account and she immediately started sweating then Michael excused himself and left then Veronica called the doctor to meet Madalitso at her shop

Veronica: calm down, I’ve got this I’m shifting her to my shop now

Linda: who’s doing this to me?

Veronica: don’t worry everything will get back in place, I’ve got your back

Linda: okay (they hugged)

Veronica left and went to the room Madalitso was locked in and gave her clothes to wear then led her to her car and drove her shop

Agent67: boss I didn’t find the girl but the friend gave me useful info

Robert: I’m listening

He explained everything and Robert asked Agent68 to follow him

Lindiwe: please be careful, you know we can’t be seen out there

Robert: don’t worry I just need him to deliver a parcel for me I think I’ve had enough of this game (they left)

Linda was having lunch in her office when she had calmed down a bit then a delivery man knocked on her door startling her, she asked him to go in and he had a box of expensive heels then her eyes glowed and the smile on her face was priceless

Agent68: this parcel is yours madam

Linda: who is it from??

Agent68: there’s a note inside

Linda opened the box and tears fell from her eyes and she started shaking

Linda: Mi……Michael…….. Noooooooooo

She took the note and it read “I NEED MY DAUGHTER BACK”

Agent68: hope you love it (he smirked and left)

Linda took her phone calling Veronica

Veronica: how’re you doing sweetheart?

Linda: I…I…..just received a parcel of Michael’s head…..I think Robert…..
