CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

 

 

Frustration was what Gabrielle was feeling at the moment for Xavier’s new routine was ignoring her and also staying in his study all night.

No matter how hard she tried to get him to talk to her he just keeps ignoring her like a plague.

What surprises her the most was the fact that he made sure she takes her medication and also her meals.

Today Gabrielle has decided to go on a hunger strike and wait for him at the outdoor lounge in his villa.

She’d refused to eat or take her drugs and no matter how hard the servants tried to coaxing her she refused to be swayed.

 

It started raining and the lounge wasn’t all that protected from the call.

They were worried her wounds might come in contact with water.

Godvric decided to inform the master about the lady boss stubbornness.

“I’m sorry for calling at a time like this but the miss have refused to eat anything or take her medication no matter how hard we tried to get her to come back into the mansion. I was hoping you would talk to her.” He explained the situation to the boss.

The other side was quiet for a while before heaving a sigh.

“Where is she?” He asked and Godvric immediately told him where she was.

“She’s at the lounge sir.”

“Give her the phone.” He spoke coldly and Godvric could immediately sense he was slowly loosing his temper.

Godvric rushed over to the lady boss tried handing the phone but she stubbornly refused to take the phone.

“Take that phone away from me.” She threw a tantrum and Godvric was caught in the middle for the boss insisted he gave the phone to her.

“I won’t repeat myself Godvric.” He said in between gritted teeth.

But Gabby was adamant about not talking to him.

“Tell your boss to go f*ck himself for all I care… Hmph!” She said out loud for she knew he was listening.

Xavier was presently at the anual Quarter meeting and every single person present in the board room held their breath in fear of offending the boss for he was a sensitive ticking bomb and the slightest sound or movement could set him off.

 

Xavier’s frosty Aura was enough to everyone on the else as he kept asking to talk to his wife but she obviously didn’t wanna talk to him.

He stood so suddenly that they all stood up instinctively but didn’t care about them as he walked outta the board room immediately and went into the elevator leading to the underground parking lot.l

How could she still be so stubborn to ignore her own health.

He got into his car and drove like a mad breaking the speed limit and in no time he arrived at the Villa and found Godvric pacing back and forth the villa entrance.

“Thank goodness you came as soon as possible. The young miss won’t leave the rain.” He explained the situation to him.

“Where is she?” He asked with a cold expression.

He’d run outta patience and would have to drag her if she refused to comply.

“Right this way sire.” Godvric led the way to the lounge and they found her playing with the rain ignoring the thick bandage around her head.

“What do you think you’re doing huh?” He pulled away from the rain and Gabby continued to ignore him.

 

“Whatever you think I’m doing is none of your f*cking busines.” She tried to wiggle free from him but his hold on her was strong.

“It became my business the moment you became my wife.” He declared only to receive a glare from her.

“I want a divorce!” She half yelled when he picked her off the floor and throw her over his shoulder like a sack of tomatoes.

“One more word from you and you’ll regret it.” He warned as he carried her all the way to the master bedroom and dumb her on the bed.

“I’m not scare of you ..ah.”

“Why did you refused your meals?” He was basically hovering over her with a grim expression.

“I’m not hungry.” She looked away.

“Look at me.” He commanded but she didn’t budge.

“Look at me Gabrielle!”
