Emerald

I sat in my room with so many things on my head

The fact that Kelvin is my brother is still unbelievable to me

The door opened and my father entered

“Emerald ” he called but I didn’t answer Jim

To be honest, I’m mad at him

Like who wouldn’t be angry at this situation

He lied to my mother and married her

“I’m sorry ” he said but I didn’t reply him

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t a good father to you” he said and I looked at him
” Are you just realizing? As my father, I loved you a lot, I was always grateful when I see people who are fatherless but……..you never thought of me as your daughter ” I said as tears gathered in my eyes

“Emerald, I thought of you as my daughter, everytime I was in distress, I was always thinking of you ” he said i stood up

“Was that why you lied to my mother? You told her you were single before getting married to her but you already had a son? ” I half yelled and he sighed

“I’m at fault, I apologize” my dad said and I walked our of the room angrily

I met my mom sitting on the couch, I was about to talk when my phone started ringing

“Hey Keith ”
“Emerald, can you come over? We need to help Bryan ” he said and hanged up

I looked at my mom and sighed before walking out of the house

Reyna, Wendy, Bryan and I stood in front of Bryan’s house

We figured out a way to help him appease his parents

“When is Emerald coming? ” Reyna asked and I checked my wristwatch

“Are you sure this method will work? My parents are hot tempered ” Bryan sighed

“Don’t worry, it will surely work ” Wendy smiled

Emerald ran to us panting

“Did you run? ” I asked and she nod

Bryan arranged his drum set , Reyna carried her guitar and Wendy stood in front of her Keyboard

“We must do this okay?” I said and they all nod

Bryan parent worked out of the house and I started by Rapping

His parents stared at all of us for a while

“Mom, dad ,please accept me ” Bryan said and went on his knees and we all did the same
“Bryan, you are such a good drummer ” His mother said

“I have always listened to you guys so once let me listen to my heart ” he said and his father moved closer to him

“Bryan, is this your dream?” his father asked and he nod

“Alright, do whatever you want as from now” his father said and he looked at him with a teary eye

“Really? ” he asked and his father hugged him

I loved the scene so much

Relationship between father and son 😂

Emerald and I walked down the street holding each others hand

“You are really cute when Rapping ” Emerald said and I smiled

“I’m happy i helped Bryan ” I said

“I wanted to hug my father just like Bryan did but my father won’t allow me to touch him” Emerald said and I looked at her

“Why? “”

“My dad doesn’t like me ” she said

“Where is Kelvin? I haven’t seen him for two years? ” I said

“There he is ” she pointed and I saw Kelvin standing afar
We both ran to him

“I miss you Kelvin ” I said and he hugged both i and emerald

“I miss you too, that’s why I will always be of a good brother to the both of you ” he said and we both smiled
