I kept starring at Keith with concern

What if he never opens his eyes

What if he lose his memory

I should stop thinking about that

The door opened and Wendy, Reyna and Bryan entered

“What are you guys doing here? ” I asked

“What do you mean? We came to check on our friend ” Bryan replied and sat beside

“Was he really poisoned? ” Wendy asked

“Yeah”

“Poor Keith ” Bryan said and sighed heavil

“By the way, why isn’t he opening his eyes? I’m getting scared ” Wendy whined and Reyna smacked her

“Is this a joke to you? ” She growled at her

It’s been 2 days and Keith is not awake

I’m getting scared too

My phone started to ring and it was a call from Kelvin

“Hello? ”

“Come to the park, I will be waiting for you ” he said and hanged up

“Who was that? ” Reyna asked

“Kelvin. He wants me to meet him in the park”i said and walked outside

“Why did you want to meet here? ” I asked and he leaned on his car

“I want us to hang out together, you’ve been with Keith all this while” he said

“But Keith needs someone close to him, what if something happens to him again ” I stared at the ground

“Keith this, Keith that! Am I that invincible !” he yelled and I froze

“What…..is…..wrong? ” I stammered

“Is Keith everything to you! I’m also in need of someone to be beside me, I like you…… No, I love you ” he said and I became quiet for some minutes

“Kelvin, I don’t want us to keep on dragging this, I already gave you an answer, I don’t want to repeat That answer because I know it must have hurt you a lot, I’m sorry” I turned to go but he grabbed my hand and hugged me

“Can’t you feel my heart beating too, for once, can you stay with me please ” he said

Keith

I opened my eyes and saw Bryan beside me

“You are awake? ” he asked and helped me sit up

“You were unconscious for 2 days, we were afraid something happened to you ” he said

“Where is Emerald? “I asked

“She went to the park some minutes ago ” he said and I quickly stood up and walked to the park

“Hey, where are you going? You just woke up ” Bryan yelled after me

I walked to the park and saw Kelvin hugging Emerald

“You shouldn’t have come ” Bryan said and I turned back and walked away from the park

“Were you angry? ” he asked but I ignored his question

“Don’t worry, your brother won’t try to steal your woman” he smiled and we both sat on a bench

“Bryan”
“Ugh? ”

“I’m afraid I will lose emerald to someone else ” I said

“Why would you think of such ,, Emerald is yours ” he smiled

“Keith ” Emerald called and ran to me

“Are you okay now? I was worried about you, I’m glad you are okay” she smiled and Bryan stood up

“I will be going first ” he said and walked and she sat beside me

“You seems to have a lot to tell me ” I said without looking at her

“Ugh? Well….i….. ” she stammered and I looked at her

“promise me you will never look at any man” I said and she started to laugh

“is this what they call jealousy ”

“Hey, I’m Serious”

“okay, I promise you that ” she held my hand and smiled

“When are you leaving the hospital? ” she asked

“I’m going to discharge myself today , don’t worry about me and go home, I’m used to the hospital anyway ” I said

“How many times have you been to the hospital? ” she asked

“I’m not sure, I think this is the 200 time, maybe “I said and she starred at me with pity

“Don’t look at me with that eye, I’m really okay ”

Kelvin

I smiled to myself as I recalled how i hugged emerald

“Happy? ” I heard Keith’s voice and I turned to see him glaring at me

“You are home already? ” I asked and he moved closer to me

“Kelvin, you know i don’t like it when people touch my things ” he said and i scoffed

“Is Emerald a thing to you know ” I smirked and he grabbed me by the collar of my clothes

“You are being too Reckless Kelvin and it’s very annoying ” he half yelled

I removed his hand from my clothes and pushed him away

“your father killed my real father, that is more annoying ” I shot back at him and he stood with shock

“What? ”

“Since my mom killed your mom, I will let it slide, but Letting go of Emerald is something I won’t do , I will make her mine at all cost ” I said and he scoffed

“Do you really want to start this Kelvin? ”

“You broke Emerald’s heart so many times, this time, I will make sure she break your heart ” I said and he glared at me
