“Emerald, aren’t you going to school ” I heard my mom’s voice as i rolled to the other side of the bed

I opened one eyes and checked the Time

“Oh my goodness ” I gasped as i jumped out of the bed

In 20 minutes, I was ready for school

I will go back to the talent school

Well, I can’t cope with that school they keep on teaching us the Krebs cycle or whatever

I walked to the dining room and started eating

“You are still going to eat? You are 30 minutes late ” mom said as i continued eating and she shook her head

“What of dad? ” I asked

“He went out very early,”

I carried my bag after eating and Took a cab to school

“Emerald, you came back ” Wendy said with excitement as i entered the class

“What of Keith? ” Bryan asked

“He had an accident, he is in the hospital ” I said as i turned to Reyna who was busy with her phone

She kept scrolling up and down

“What’s wrong Reyna? ” I asked her and she showed me the latest news

I noticed everyone was busy with their phones too

“Isn’t that a news about Keith? ” Wendy asked as i collected the phone from Reyna

“Keith Mendler, the heir to The Mendler group is a player and a womanizer ” Wendy read the headline aloud

Under the news was the picture of Keith and Chloe

When they kissed

“But who is this girl? ” Bryan asked and I stood up

“Where are you going? ” Reyna asked

“that is not true, Keith is not a player neither his he a womanizer, the news is fake ” I half yelled and they all looked at me like i was insane

I ran to the hospital and saw Chloe standing outside

“Why did you do that to Keith? ” I asked panting heavily

“I didn’t do anything” she said all innocently and I showed her the picture

“You kissed him intentionally to do this right? ” I glared at her and she grinned

“Are you suspecting me right now? ”

“I’m not suspecting You, I know you are the one ” I said and the grin on her face faded away
“you are really annoying, I know nothing about this, and he was the one who kissed me not the other way round ” she said and we both glared at each other

“How long are you going to keep on lying, you have to clear this news ” I yelled at her

“I said I know nothing, do you think i would do that to someone i love ” she said and I smirked

“Love? You are really the worst!” I yelled and she shot me a deadly glare

“Cut it off ” she said and walked away

I scoffed as i read the news

What the hell is going on?

I threw the phone away angrily as Kelvin entered

He picked up the phone and dropped it on the table

“Why am I suddenly on the news, I mean what is going on” I said pacing up and down

“have dad seen this? ” I asked and he nod

“Dad saw it, he will be here in some minutes ” he said

“where is that girl that kissed me? Call her let her make a report ” I said and dad entered

“Dad, that’s not…….. ” I didn’t complete my statement when he slapped Kelvin

“How can you be so useless? I told you to keep an eye on your younger brother ” he yelled at Kelvin

“I’m sorry ” Kelvin said and stared at the ground

“And you, I can’t make you the heir to Mendler group anymore, you just ruined your reputation and mine ” he said with anger and walked outside

“I’m sorry Kelvin ” I said and he smiled

“it’s okay ” he said

“this isn’t the first time I’m getting slapped, Who is that girl you kissed? I need to see her ” Kelvin said and I scratched my hair trying to remember her name

“What was her name again? Ch…ch…” I scratched my hair and he took his car key

“Do you have her number? ‘ he asked and I shook my head

“I don’t ”

“How can you be so careless about such a thing, you are not even close, how could you allow her to kiss you!” he yelled at me and I looked at him with surprise

It’s the first time Kelvin is yelling at me

He walked out of the ward and a doctor came inside

I was about to enter Keith’s ward when I saw a doctor coming outside with some medical instruments in his hand

I twisted the knob and entered

“Keith ” I called and he looked at me

The look on his face was so scary and deadly

“You ” he pointed at me and stood up as i moved backward

“What is going on? ” I asked with fear

“You ruined my life, I’m going to ki*ll you ” he said and I gasped
