I pushed him away and stood up from the bed

“I have to go ” I said as i ran out like my hair was on fire

“Emerald, what’s wrong” Kelvin asked but I didn’t even look back

I stopped running when I was outside the hospital as i leaned on the wall

Why Was he asking if I like him?

That was crazy
I could feel my cheek getting hot as i drank a bottle of water to calm myself
It started to rain suddenly as i checked my wristwatch

I have to go

I covered my head with my bag and started to run

But then I stopped running when I noticed someone covered me with an umbrella

I looked up and saw Kelvin

“Kelvin?” I said and he smiled

“I will take you home ” he said and grab my hand but I didn’t move

“I will take a cab ” I said and the look on his face was that of disappointment

“Then take the umbrella” he said stretched the umbrella to me but I continued to stare at him

“Why…….are you nice to me? ” I asked and he smiled again

“Because I like you ” he said and took off his jacket and covered me with it

“Since you rejected my offer to take you home, take the umbrella ” he said and forced the umbrella into my hand

“See ya ” he grinned and left

I walked home absent minded

“Emerald, where are you coming from at this time? ” dad asked but I said nothing as i just walked to my room and locked the door

Keith kept coming in my mind

“Emerald, what’s wrong?” mom asked knocking the door

“I’m fine, I just want to sleep ” I said

“Did something happen between you and son-in-law?” she asked and I scoffed angrily

“Son-in-law my foot! I told you his name is Keith, he is not your son-in-law! ” I yelled angrily as i jumped on the bed and covered myself with the duvet

“If something happened to you, why are you taking your anger at me?” she yelled back and I plugged my earpiece in my ear

Next day………

I stood up from the hospital bed and walked to the window watching the people around

Someone started to knock

“If it’s you don’t come in” I said thinking it was emerald and the person entered

“I told you not to……… ” I paused when I saw that it was that girl

I’ve forgotten her name though

“hi Keith ” she said and walked in with a box of pizza

“What are you doing here? ” I asked as i walked back and sat on the bed

“I bought you pizza ” she said and opened the box

“Eat up, you must be so hungry ” she said and I looked away

“I’m not hungry ”

“Really? Then drink the wine ” she said as she opened the wine and poured it in a cup

“I’m not drinking” I said and she smiled

“Then Wat do you want? ” she asked

“I want to be alone ” I folded my arms and she gave me the cup of wine

“I will leave after you drink this ” she said and I collected the cup and drank

“will you leave now? ” I asked and laid on the bed but then I started feeling dizzy

“What did you put inside the drink? ” I asked her as things became blur

I’m sorry Keith but I have no option than to do this

I sat on the bed as he tried to open his eyes

“what was inside that drink? ” he asked and I sighed

I grab the collar of his clothes and pulled him to myself

“Stay still, it’s just a kiss” I closed my eyes and placed my lips on his

Someone wants me to do this

The door opened and I released him and opened my eyes just to see emerald

Darn
This girl is always spoiling things

“What are you doing here? ” I asked her, the look on her face shows anger and jealousy and I grinned

She turned back and banged the door as she walked outside

I laid Keith on the bed and covered him with the blanket

I turned to go but he grab my hand

“Why did you do that? ” he asked with a weak voice and a sleepy eyes
“I’m sorry ” I removed his hand from mine as i went after emerald

I saw her in the hospital lobby and I moved closer

“You saw that right? I didn’t kiss Keith this time, he kissed me ” I said and she smirked

” I didn’t ask you, why are you telling me? ” she asked and I folded my arms

“I’m telling you to back off, I don’t care if you have feelings for him or not, don’t come near him . I don’t want losers to come near the person i love ” I said and she grinned

“Losers? Don’t you think you are the real loser? Judging from what you did, I think you are real demon ” she said and walked away while I clench my fist

How dare she call me a demon ?
I walked back to Keith’s ward and he was already asleep
I carried my bag and the camera i programmed in the room when I entered and went to meet the person that sent me

“What are you going to use this picture to do? ” I asked and the person smirked

“Leave that to me, with this picture, I can stop him from getting what he wants ” the person said and I arched my brow

I don’t understand what the person is saying

“don’t hurt Keith please, I love him ” I said

“Will you still love him after knowing his secrets? ” the person said

“What is his secret? ” I asked

“I won’t tell you, don’t worry, his romantic life has nothing to do with me love him if you want to ” the person said and moved closer to me

“But I will make sure I get what I want with this picture ” the person smirked and entered the car and drove off
