Chapter 21

IVY

Two days passed by blur.

It was a cool Sunday when everyone were gathered on dinning table having breakfast.

I entered in dinning room in a spaghetti top and a bum short

My arms and under arms were on display.

Micheal and Ronald exchanged looked and averted their gaze.

“Go back to your room”

I was about to sit when Frederick’s stern voice striked my ears.

I looked at him and then at the maid who signalled me to obey with her eyes.

I sighed and went back to my room.

I was about to close door behind when he entered or more barged in.

“Change your cothes” He said sternly.

I looked at him with anger.

“No I won’t”

“I don’t like to repeating my words.” This time he roared making me flinch.

I didn’t say a single word thinking about the consequences and went towards the washroom taking my clothes from bed.

Thinking that he must have left, I returned back after taking quite a long time.

“You aren’t going wear such clothes in my house again” He said signalling towards my top to bottom.

“What do you mean by such clothes?” I asked confused.

“Such shameless clothes. Noble men live in this house too!” He said sternly.

“Wow! If they are that noble then they won’t get affected  by whatever I wear” I mocked him smiling sarcastically.

“Don’t you dare to talk back at me!” He said gripping my elbow tightly.

“I will. I will wear whatever I want. I will do whatever the fvck I want to do!!” I spat on his face.

“Fine” he smiled yanking me back.

Next thing what he did was too unexpected for me.

He took my bag from the wardrobe and threw it from the window which landed in the garden and went out.

“What the hell” I yelled and started running after him.

The bag burst opened due to falling from such height.

“Let’s see how will you wear all these shameless clothes in my house again” He said throwing glowing match stick on a pile of clothes in front of him.

I was looking at him with wide eyes.

“Hey..Stop it. Don’t you dare burn my clothes. Stop” I tried to stop him but he yanked me away making me fall on the ground.

“Remember that I am not your fvcking Nathan who will bear all your these shitty tantrums. This is my house and here you follow the rules I, IFrederick Anderson makes!” He said clenching my jaw making me whine in pain and leaving his finger marks over my cheeks.

“Maid, bring her some wearable and decent clothes.”

Wthat said he yanked me away and left the house without giving me a second glance.

My eyes were bloodshot due to crying for so long.

It was evening now and I was still crying since morning without any break.

I haven’t eaten anything since last night.

I was crying over my fate.

over my life.

over the moment I was born.

I stood in front of the mirror and saw red marks on my cheeks.

It was his finger prints.

It was first bruise given to me by my husband.

I touched them and a whimper left my mouth due to pain with numerous tears cascading down my cheeks to my neck.

“Nathan you were a betrayer. Dad you never cared about me. Mom how can you ignore your own child whom you gave birth after suffering for months? Frederick You are like my father! Why? Why can’t I get someone who cares about me? Who will want to listen me? Why?” I was crying and wailing.

I was suffering with  tons of head weight and the thing which was killing me was loneliness.

It was the feeling of being unwanted.

I bent down and took a bottle of my depression pills and took 5 tables and gulped them down in one breath with a glass of water.

It was my one and only escape.
