Alma.

Getting done with the yam and eggs I prepared for us,

Placing the covered dish, I make my way to his room.

Making use of the staircase, my mind went back to the question that has been bothering me since.

That question I was looking for answers to earlier before running into him.

I am wondering why Stanley was acting like that today.

One seconds we are cool and friends. Another minute, I am blaming myself of been his friend.

His behavior towards me was scary today. And the impression he gave was a bad one.

Even my spirit weren’t at peace seeing him today unlike other days.

All I wanted to do is to run away from that spot when he touched me.

He irritates me today when I saw him. I don’t even know why I wasted my strength to look for him.

I should have stayed back with Earl rather than looking for him.

Maybe I will be down sleeping or practicing instead of cooking for that big head.

Something seems off with everyone in this house especially Clifford.

I don’t know who is coming to kidnap me for him to make so much security guards stand at the entrance of my door.

And Stanley, I don’t know what he meant by telling Clifford to watch over me.

Or the next time he is going to see me, it would be in his arms or his bed.

I thought I have spelt it out for him, what else does he want me to say to him.

This is annoying right now, I regretted the day I thought he is better than Clifford.

Now I understand why they do say the devil you know is better than the angel you just met.

Reaching his door, I was about to knock but stop to eardrops on whatever is happening in his room.

One, I don’t know why I want to eardrops. But I think I want to.

“I think the best thing for her is not to let her know what’s happening.”

I heard Clifford said making me start to panicked.

“Yes, if she is aware of what’s happening, she won’t be able to hold herself together.

And that, I can’t handle her been in that state. “He said again and paused.

” What I want to do is very simple but you aren’t letting me.” She said sounding pissed.

” I want the securities of this house doubled and those following her should be doubled also.

I don’t also want in near wherever we are again. Any thing or occasion that will make us meet now or in the future,I want you to decline them now.

Lastly, I don’t want that cony bas***d in my property not to talk of in my house.

Yes I know she already knows little out of what’s on ground but this is more than she knows. ”

He added making me realize he is talking about me and the bas***d is Stanley.

I wonder what secret they all are trying to keep away from me…TBC
