THE SUN SHINES
THE SUN SHINES
Brightly shines the sun
in it’s beauty and glory
yet there is darkness in our lives
the shining light seems a curse
for what is the light when we can’t see the way
what is light when we look and don’t see where to step
walking blindly as in the dark
The sun shines
yet darness covers us like the night
is there hope for us
who in the brilliance of the light
walk without seeing the path
who meets life’s events without knowing what to do
The sun shines
yet darkness reigns
all will be well
it shall be well with us
when the sun sets
and darkness comes
cautiously shall we walk
knowing the sun will shine.
