Kierra’s Pov
Phew. phewww. Calm down kierra,you can do this you’ve prepared yourself for it obviously at lest he warned you something like this was gonna happen and remember this is all for max.
“Act like you down care conceal don’t feel… I chanted as I walked past them to my locker getting my books out heading straight to class.
Things were easier said than done since I couldn’t concentrate on the lecture before me instead I let my mind wonder to what they must be doing this instance.
Xander was supposed to be in this class with me yet right now he was no where in sight which could only mean he was currently with Freya.
“Hey b***h… Jennifer said sitting beside me to taunt me
“Hey whore… I retaliated smirking as her face turned red still not expecting my reply
“So heard that Xander and Freya are back together as they should be….She said mockingly
“Yeah too bad he got tired of you right… I said taunting her back.
“That was all your fault… She said flaring up.
“Miss Jennifer would you need keeping shut while I teach… The teacher said as the while class erupted in laughter
“Bye bye baby mama… I said as her eyes grew wide the bell ringing simulatenously.
“Nothing remains a secret forever you’ll do well to remember that… I said smiling as I stood up heading to the lab for recess.
“Hey girly what’s up… Maya said sitting close to me.
“Well your amazing plan is in action.
“Ugh yeah I heard… She said.
“I hope he finds something and fast…i said noticing a poster on the wall.
“Hmm a sing off… I murmured slowly.
“You should definitely sign up for this.
“Nahh I won’t win.
“Check out the prize Kierra a six month tour round Hollywood pls a record deal.
“I can’t sing maya.
“Oh and I bring me yesterday was what.
“It was nothing Maya i can’t sing.
“This is the part where I be an amazing friend and sign you up anyways.
“Ugh whatever.
“Auditions are after school.
“Say what now… I screamed
“Come up just sing I bring me you’ll ki*ll it.
“That was karaoke for the two of us but now there’ll be people.
“Just do it kierra and beside even if you don’t win it’ll be a great distraction from xander while he does this whole fake dating.
“Ugh alright… I said groaning
“Great xander would drive us there immediately after school
“Whatever you say… I muttered as the bell was rung for lunch
Taking a bite out of my lasagna slowly I stared at the table ahead of us where Xander slowly fed Freya as she giggled giving him little pecks on his lips while the whole cafeteria watched in awe
“Kierra don’t look at them just try and focus on me and only me… Maya said turning my cheeks to look at her
“Ugh I’ll try… I said groaning trying to get their faces out of my mind.
“Please let this day be over already… I mutter slowly shaking my head.
“Calm down girly… Maya said soothingly.
Classes were extremely stressful since all I could do was think about Xander Freya but thankfully the day was over and I’ll have him all to myself only this time the auditions would get in the way but at least xander would be mine to an extent.
“Hey girly you ready to sing… Maya said as we slammed our lockers
“Ugh don’t even remind me… I said as we headed to Xander’s car
“Max said he’ll be heading out which means I’ll be with you at the auditions… She said screaming.
“What auditions..Xander’s voice said behind me
“Oh it’s just a silly contest that Maya’s making me do that I won’t win… I said rolling my eyes as we got in.
We made a bunch of small talks here and there as xander drive to the audition while I suddenly felt nervous suddenly probably because I would be performing in front of a large audience
“We’re there… Maya announced as xander pulled over while we stepped out
The place was huge and here I was imagining this was gonna be a small contest who the heck am I kidding
“You nervous k… Xander said pecking my cheeks as we walked in
“Yeah just a little… I replied heading for the sign up tables
The pen in my hand was really unstable as I filled in my details until I was given a number 31 which meant there was already 30 people performing Beforr me who would obviously be more talented than I am.
“Calm down kierra you hit this… Maya said as I headed to the waiting area from my turn
Never in my life have I ever been so awed their voices and composure where absolutely superb there’s no way I could even dream of competing with them maybe I should just back out now…
“You got this K… Xander screamed right in the audience as I blushed lowering my head
“Number 31 you’re up..The announcer said as I stood up with shaky hands heading to the podium
“You got this…i mutter grabbing the mic
Why you gonna fly black bird
You ain’t never gonna fly….. I finished as the crowd erupted in cheers
Maya and I agree on singing I bring me but immediately I grabbed the mic I simply uttered the first song that came into my head which turn out to be black bird.
“Welcome once again to this year’s sing off… The announcer said as we cheered while I headed on to my seat hugging Maya as xander squeezed my hands reassuringly
“Well for those who are new the prices remain the same a six month tour round Hollywood.. He announced as we all cheered xander grip slowly fading from my hand as I looked back to meet his eyes in an unreadable expression
“Today we had 31 contestant but as you all know only 10 would go through to the next round… He said as my heart began to race

“Kierra Leah… He said as my Maya hugged me really tightly while xander simply walker off not saying a word.
The ten of us were called back for a little talk and then we were told the next round was in two days time which was Saturday thankfully and the final stage would be on Monday and I couldn’t be more excited and nervous at the same time.
“You did great girly… Maya said as we hugged while Xander remained in the car
All through the ride to drop Maya off he didn’t say a word to me nor Maya as we kept exchanging glances trying to figure out what’s wrong
“See you Tomorrow girly…maya said as she stepped out of the car
“Hmm… I said trying to start a conversation
“Silent treatment… I said as he stared back at me for a moment before looking at the road

“You’re leaving me.. He said simply as he pulled over at my house

“Why didn’t you tell me the winner gets a tour a six months tour kierra you’re gonna leave me for six months

Meeting the house quiet and empty since mom and dad were out and so was mad I had the whole house all to myself but now I feel so lonely xander thinks am actually gonna leave him because of some dumb contest that am never gonna win
I ran to the door the minute I heard the door bell hoping and wishing it was Xander
“Xander i’m…i tried to say as I opened the door
“You…. I nearly screamed Shocked at how she even knew where I lived

“Yeah come in.. I said sarcastically leaving the door open just in case.

“That’s what you think but kierra information is everything and I could easily tell you how freya tried to ki*ll your brother…She said as my eyes widen

“I’ll tell you everything you need to know to take her down and in return you keep your mouth shut about you nephew…

The voices in my head kept getting fainter as my eye lids shut tightly the throbbing pain in my heart still present but only this time it was because of max.
