Kierra’s Pov
I used to think Xander and I were best friends even if I hid the glaring fact that I had feelings for him still we weren’t supposed to hide anything from each other and here I’m hearing of the so called Freya who just happened to be the only one in the long list of flings to ever cheat on him or so they so anyway
Chase and I are were a mistake like I said a one time would I never sh00t myself in the leg experience I hate myself for what happened between us and the fact that I had to lie to Xander about what happened between us although I really don’t feel that bad anymore since he likewise kept a secret from me
Though I can’t help but wonder what was so special about Freya that he couldn’t break up with her and what the hell went through her mind to even dream of cheating on Xander Thompson I mean like seriously has she met him

I’m extremely confused here if she did cheat on him and with the looks of things she actually did why then would she want him back and God knows where she must have disappeared to all this while

“Kierra you seem in very very deep thoughts…Freya said still grinning her hands linked with his as she snapped me out of my confusion

“Well of course I’m surprised you know Xander and all I’m not surprised actually I’m extremely confused… I said truthfully

“I really don’t get how that all happened anyways I mean how is it even possible for you guys to have dated…I added still confused

“Well I’m in the mood for story time anyway so why don’t I enlighten you guys

“What the girl wants a story and I’ll give her a story plus I love the story of our love life I absolutely love it

“You tell me how you and chase even met not to even imagine going out with each other and where I vanished to all those while…he added smirking

“Common kierra it wouldn’t hurt to explain how we possibly met… Chase added next to me

“Stay away from me as***ole we were a one time mistake why don’t you get it Huh we would never happen again wait what in hell’s name is wrong with me anyways there is no us….I said coldly

“I come for you Kierra why would I ever leave I made that mistake once it won’t ever happen again… He added as I walked away

“I can see why you can’t stop loving him… He said as I froze in my tracks as the memories hit me hard

A YEAR AGO
Summer break is absolutely the worst I hate it we have to go away on the freaking lame vacation for a week before we get back to school
Usually I would be elated but this would mean I would have to spend a week without Xander I would have to endure not been able to see him smile as that’s the absolute worst

I made it tradition to profusely beg my parents to at least let me stay with the Thompson’s for the week and they made it theirs to list all the reasons why the vacation was healthy but it was simply noise to my ears because all I wanted to be near him but sadly we would have to be away from each other girl a weak

“Common mom… I said taking my bags in the car hell bent on not giving up

“Get your a$$ in the car kierra.. Max said smirking

“Seriously this would be our last vacation together I can’t wait for you to disappear… I said smirking sticking my tongue out before getting in folding my arms as a text came in from xander telling me he’ll be at a football camp with the guys foe the break anyways

“I promise you baby girl it’ll be so much fun…Dad said starting the car

“Not without xander… I thought

“You’ll never ever forget this vacation… He added smirking as he drove off

“And I never did… I thought as we headed to our house outside town

 

I have to admit the house looks beautiful though I really really don’t care since everything is incomplete without him if only the Thompson’s went with us on this vacation things would be so much better

“Mum I’ll be in my room… I said climbing up the stairs heading to my room with my phone

We had a cleaning service to tidy up the house every week so I really didn’t need to do much work on my room I just needed to change the sheets and I was good to go

I decided to take a quick nap since there was really nothing else to do in the house all day

“I’ll call Xander when I get back up… I thought as I drifted off to slip

 

Sighing loudly as Xander phone went to voice mail for the umpteenth time ever since I got up I tried to get in touch with him but it all was in vain since he was probably busy I decided it wouldn’t hurt to at least take a walk around town and see what has changed since we last went on this lame vacation

Climbing down the stairs with my jacket in case it gets a little bit cold I met the whole family watching a movie even though it was just 5 pm

“I’ll be out for a while mum I might miss dinner bye… I said walking away

“Wait a minute your brother would accompany you…Dad said as I froze

“Nooo he’s a buzz ki*ll I don’t want him

“She’s a party popper I rather stay here with the fun team…we said simultaneously

“You see it’s all settled bye guys… I said blowing them a kiss growling at Max

“Stay safe baby girl do not even think of getting drunk

“Rule no 1….Get freaking drunk… I screamed to myself as I ran out of the house

 

I took a really long walk around the outskirts of town until I got to a bar

“Well I guess this marks the end of my tour… I thought as I walked in not before glancing at my watch to discover it was getting late as it was already 8 pm

Taking a sit before ordering a soda I took a glance at the people in the bar which were mainly drunks as always

Staring at my phone as it made a little sound I opened it up thinking it would be a message or a call but it was simply a notification one that ruined my evening

Only this time it wasn’t him and some girls it was Xander making out shamelessly with a girl probably one he met at the camp he went to for his holiday

“So much for not missing me… I thought as I turned off my phone ordering the strongest drink they had

“This is gonna be a really really crazy might… I thought giggling as I gulped my third shot

“Hey pretty girl… A guy said beside me

“Hmm you think I’m pretty… I said giggling

“I can show you you’re pretty… He whispers as I giggled more

“Seriously dude taking advantage of a girl while shes drunk it’s so fricking low…A deeper voice said beside me as my vision was a bit blurry

“Move before I make you to take a nice little trip to the infirmary.. He added smirking

“Take your best shot… The other guy said standing up as he faced him

“This would teach you how to treat a lady even if she’s drunk… He said swinging his hands throwing him a lunch as he growled holding his tooth in pure agony

“This isn’t over you can have her she ain’t all that anyway… He said running off

“You know you sure know how to take care of yourself… He added sitting down

“I can’t be repaired in broken no one can fix me…I said sniffling

“In that case since you won’t remember this tomorrow because it would be impossible for me to forget you why don’t you let it all out pretend you don’t care if it’s not a secret let it all out broken. Soul it might help

“My middle name is boredom common tell me…He said smirking as I tried to get a clearer look of who I was talking to

He had deep brown hazel eyes a sharp jaw line and maybe if I wasn’t ready drunk I would be smitten over him

“Hmm where do I start from where where where… I said using my fingers to circle the drink

“First I need one more shot call it confidence booster… I said giggling

“Tch… No alcohol for you just let it all out… He said taking my hands

“He can’t love me… I started as a drop of tear rolled down my cheek

“I swear I won’t touch you …He said smiling as I stood up following him slowly

We go to his car as he opened it up carefully helping me inside taking a sit near me in the back seat as I sighed tiredly

“Oh right you won’t interrupt… I added when he didn’t reply

“I’m broken because I want something I can’t have

“I Desire something I can’t have I want something that’s not mine and it hurts more than anything in this entire universe it really hurts sometimes I just want to die

“I can’t even begin to imagine how painful it is to love him because it isn’t painful when he hurts me I’m supposed to be mad at him but instead I give myself excuse to love him more

“But every single day I wake up with the thought of him. Smiling and I can’t help but love him more and more every fricking day

“I knew I said I wouldn’t interrupt you but it’s just 8:30 pm I’ll get you home by 11 I have a proposition for you

“Hazel eyes huh common girlfriend let’s hit the town… He said taking my hands leading me out of the car as we ran out deciding to live our problems behind for just one night
