✨EPISODE FIVE✨

❣️ALEXA❣️

Lunch was a strained affair after Hunter declined on my behalf.

The guys didn’t talk and it was really awkward and all that.

I’m secretly glad Hunter declined for me cos I was looking for a way to let Dominic down without hurting his feelings and Hunter helped me out.

I couldn’t go out with him to the cinema because I don’t want Madison to get more mad at me cos I think she has a crush on Dominic so me going to the cinema with him would be misunderstood by her.

I’m glad I’m through with lunch so I can escape from this place.
I don’t like the tension here at all.
It’s really getting to me.

I left the cafeteria heading to the locker room.
Hunter followed behind me.

“Hey, Alexa” he called out to me.
I stopped and wait for him to catch up.

“I’m sorry for interfering in your personal life but I was just watching out for you. Hope you’re not mad at me?” Hunter asked.

I shook my head in negation.

” Okay, see you after school” he said and he went to join his friends who were waiting for him beside the marble staircase.

Who is this Alexa?
She hasn’t used a full week here and yet she’s on Oliver’s Radar.

I hate the way he looks at her.
It makes me wanna puke.

Am I not beautiful enough?
I should probably go for a face surgery if that would make him notice me better but in the meantime I have to look for ways of stopping Alexa from seeing him again.

I have an idea and I hope it works.

I couldn’t eat since I’ve lost my appetite when I saw Oliver going over to the table where Alexa was invited to.

I’m patiently waiting for the girl I want to talk to and I can see she’s heading in my direction with her freakish friend with the purple hair.

” Hey, I want to talk to your friend so excuse us” I said to the freak when they were within earshot.

She left immediately and I dragged the other girl into an empty classroom.

” You like that guy on dreadlocks who eats at your table, right?” I asked her.

” Dominic? ” she asked back.
Like I want to know his name.

“Yeah, him. You like him obviously” I stated rather than asked cos I saw the way she look all doe eyed when she mentioned his name.

“Yeah, so?” She asked back.

“Very good. I just want you to do yourself a great favour.” I said.

” What’s that?” She questioned.

” I noticed that your crush likes the new girl. Tough right?”

“Preach” she said shrugging as if it doesn’t affect her a bit even when I know it’s affecting her as much as it’s affecting me.

“Well I have the solution to your problem. I want you to kick her out of your table next time she comes there” I said to her.

” Okay, is that all?” She asked.

“Yeah” I replied.

” Consider it done. I don’t like her anyway” she said while I smiled.

I let her leave the classroom before me. I don’t want anyone seeing us together.

Mission one accomplished💃🏼💃🏼.

I won’t stop until she doesn’t get to seat at any table in the cafeteria anymore.

I was able to convince a girl to kick her out of her table yesterday and I’m sure it’d be very easy to convince others as well.

I must make sure she doesn’t eat at the cafeteria again, that way Oliver would not have anyone to stare at again other than me.

What a stressed filled week!

I just gave a 68 in my maths test and I’m kind of sad.

I’m always having A in maths but now I have to settle for less.
I don’t know why I’m not getting good grades again.

I hope mom won’t bat an eyelid when she sees this.
My dad definitely has no problems with my math scores so I don’t have to worry about him too much.

I must have responded to over a dozen greetings before I finally get to the parking lot.

I met Alexa leaning against my car and I suddenly feel sorry for her.

I know it’s not easy to not talk back at people and I wonder how she’s coping.
I opened the door and we both stepped in without a word to each other.

I’m almost through with my assignments when I heard a knock on my door.

I went to open the door and it was Hunter I met in front of my door.

“Hi ,can I come in?” he asked.

I nod and opened the door properly.

I sat down on my bed while Hunter sat on my chair.

” How are you coping in school? ” he asked me.

I grabbed a rough sheet of paper and I write on it.

“Okay. I just wanted to tell you that you can start eating at our table as from tomorrow till you make friends or feel like not eating at our table anymore” Hunter said.

I don’t know if I should be thankful or not but I decided to thank him anyway so I wrote an appreciation note to him and he left after some minutes.

🌤️NEXT MORNING🌻

I wake up feeling a bit relaxed and happy cos today is Friday.

I have the weekend to sleep as much as I can provided I don’t have nightmares again.

I seriously doubt it though, I’d probably keep having nightmares till I die.

I know I deserve it so I don’t stress myself over it.

I finished my morning rituals and it’s time to dress up.

I chose a black high-low gown and a beautiful bracelet mom bought for me when she travelled to India.
I didn’t use any other piece of jewellery cos it’d make me feel overdressed.

As an afterthought, I used a flowered print scarf just to add a touch of colour to my all black attire.

I went downstairs for breakfast.
I gave my uncle and aunt a brief hug and I sat down on my usual seat.
Hunter saw me and gave me an appraising smile.

Well, this is definitely a first.
I mean Hunter is always too interested in his food to notice my appearances so receiving a smile from Hunter today is something😊.

” You’re looking beautiful, munchkin” my uncle enthused.

” You look like a movie star” my aunt said and I smiled at both of them.

I guess I’m a big fan of smiles.
That’s the least I could do since I don’t laugh anymore.

I rushed my breakfast and I left for school in Hunter’s car.

School was pretty fast today or maybe it’s just me feeling this way.

I’m not surprised that today’s assignments is double the usual ones cos I have the weekend to do it so I’m not overly concerned.

I went to sit at the popular table during lunchtime.

I sat beside Jason, the guy who wants to be my friend.

“Hi Alexa” he said.
I gave him a small smile to acknowledge his greeting.

” hi Alexa. I’m Landon” a tall lanky guy said.
He looks like a cute gangster🤣.

I was introduced to two other guys and the annoying b***h who I just got to know is named Ruby.

I didn’t need to be introduced to Oliver cos I know his name already.

I don’t mean that literally though.

I was looking for ways to kick Alexa out of the cafeteria forever not knowing she’d be sitting here at the popular table instead.

I should have thought of that earlier since her cousin is Hunter.

How am I gonna get rid of this b***h, huh?

I guess I have to make her feel so jealous that she’d be forced not to eat at the cafeteria again.

Yeah! That’s exactly what I’m gonna do.

I’m not sharing my Oliver with anybody, especially her.
