Tuesday.
❣️ALEXA ❣

I groaned in frustration when the alarm rang for the last time.

Just when I was finally getting some rest after the usual nightmare.

I lazily got out of bed and head to the bathroom to take my bath and brush my teeth.

I rummaged through my closet searching for something nice to wear to school.

I don’t care about my appearance but I don’t want people to start blaming my aunt that she isn’t taking good care of me.

I selected a black turtle neck top and a black jeans trouser.
I wore a white and black sneakers and I head to the dining room.

Hunter gave me the “Why are you putting on all black look” but I ignored him and hugged my aunt and uncle instead.

I sat down beside my aunt and I ate my breakfast.

“Hunter will take you to school, Alexa. I’ve talked with the principal and you don’t need to worry about anything” Aunt Kate said.

I waved at my uncle and aunt before leaving the house with Hunter.

Hunter and I entered his car without saying anything to each other.

I listened to music using my headphone till we get to the school ten minutes later.
I can’t help but feel sad about leaving my former school.

It’s for the best Alexa. You just have to understand that.

Hunter stopped the car in the parking lot and we both stepped out of his car.

“Let me show you the way to the locker room. You might want to drop some books there” Hunter said.

I followed him to the locker room and people were greeting him and staring at me curiously.
I didn’t know my cousin is popular.

A guy walked up to us and he shook hands with Hunter and flashed me a dazzling smile.

“Good morning beautiful” the guy said.
Durh! My name is Alexa not beautiful😒.

“Jason back off. I said she’s off limits” Hunter growled.

The guy threw up his hands in a gesture of surrender.

“Chill dude. I just wanted to greet her” the guy said and Hunter shot him a murdering stare.

Finally, the Jason guy left after some seconds and Hunter and I continued our journey to the locker room.

The locker room was crowded but amazingly people cleared the path for us as soon as they saw Hunter.

” That’s your locker over there” Hunter said and he gave me the key to the locker.
We both walked to the locker but there was a slight problem.

A couple was busy making out directly in front of the locker Hunter pointed out as mine.

“Hey, you guys should go get a room” Hunter said to the couple.

The couple laughed and the guy threw Hunter a friendly punch.
The girl was staring at me intently as if I have something on my face.

“Alexa, wait for me in the parking lot when school is over” Hunter said before he left.

I opened my locker and I removed the books I need from my bag and I put the rest in the locker.

“Oliver, why are you staring at her, huh?”

“Oh! So I can’t stare at anyone I like again but you’re allowed to f**k who you like” the guy threw back at her.

It was the guy who was making out with his girlfriend when Hunter and I came in.

How can he be so rude to his girlfriend.
My face is burning in embarrassment cos I’m the reason why they are shouting at each other.

I fled the locker room and I went in search of my English class.

❤️OLIVER❤️

Ruby came to me in the locker room when I got to school and I know she’s ready to continue our relationship.

I’m not in love with Ruby but I like her body and she serves as a good distraction whenever I need it so I find myself still sticking to her even though I know she have flings with other guys.

We were kissing passionately when Hunter said “hey, you guys should go get a room”.

I broke off the kiss and I greeted him properly, that was when I saw the beautiful girl beside him.

She is a tall blonde and I know she must be the cousin he was talking about yesterday.
It’s so bad that she doesn’t talk.

“Oliver, why are you staring at her, huh?” Ruby asked.

” Oh! So I can’t stare at anyone I like again but you can f**k anyone you like” I countered.

I don’t know what is wrong in looking at a beautiful damsel.

Hunter’s cousin rushed out of the locker room.

“So it has come to that, huh?” Ruby screamed.
This girl and her short circuit temper.

“Ruby, don’t stress me, okay?”

“Oliver, we just got back together today so we shouldn’t be fighting” Ruby said.

” And whose fault is that?” I asked.

” Okay, I’m sorry” she eventually said.

” I’m late for class already so excuse me” I said walking out on her.

I don’t give a damn about class but I had to do that to set her head straight.

❣️ALEXA❣️

First class is over. Hurray!😊😊.

The English teacher was so annoying.
Anytime she wants to ask me a question she’d shout so loud that my eardrums almost got damaged.

I know I don’t talk but that doesn’t mean I’m deaf so I don’t know why she had to shout before talking to me.

I have science next.
I went in search of the class and I later found it.

I went in and the teacher introduced me to the rest of the class.
I enjoyed the class and bell was rang to signify the end of the class.

I head to the locker room to return my books and take my lunch to the cafeteria.
Aunt Kate packed lunch for Hunter and I.

I took my lunch bag to the cafeteria and I found an empty chair to sit on.
Hunter and his friends were eating on another table.

I noticed the guy called Oliver was also there which means he’s a close friend of my cousin.

I turned my attention back to my food and I ate my lunch.
I was still eating when Oliver’s girlfriend approached me.

“Hey, I know you don’t talk so I just want you to listen attentively. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to get me mad because you won’t like the outcome so I’m telling you now that Oliver is mine and mine alone” she said and left.

Imagine the thrash she just spewed out.
If anyone needs that speech it should be her boyfriend.

I suddenly lost my appetite and I left the cafeteria immediately.

I saw Ruby go over to Alexa’s table and few minutes later Alexa left the cafeteria.

I just hope Ruby didn’t threaten the poor girl cos I know that is her specialty.

I was watching Alexa eat so I saw everything from my own table and fortunately Hunter was oblivious to the scene.

It wouldn’t have been funny if Hunter had seen Ruby shouting at Alexa.

❣️ALEXA❣️

I’m at the parking lot waiting for Hunter since he said I should wait for him here.

I leaned against Hunter’s car and I watched different students as they got into their cars.

Few minutes later, Hunter arrived and he apologised for keeping me waiting.
He opened the door of the car and I stepped in.

Minutes later…

“Welcome Hunter, Alexa” Aunt Kate said to both of us.

Hunter greeted her and I hugged her.

“How was school?”

💬” it was fine” I typed and I showed her.

I went to my room to freshen up.
My first day in school isn’t that bad except for the English teacher and that Oliver’s girlfriend.

I think both of them suit themselves perfectly cos they’re both so rude.
I hope I don’t get to see the both of them in school tomorrow.

PS:- Tomorrow (2nd of November ) is my birthday.
