Something that lasts Chapter 3:Part b

Stepping into the house,she locked the door,her bag slipping from her shoulders.Her mother would be home now,she ran a little supermarket a bit far from their home but always came home by 4pm leaving the supermarket to be handled by her workers.Her father was a lawyer that worked with a firm that didn’t pay too well,he most times came home late.They lived in a rented three bedroom flat,there were five other tenants living in the building apart from the landlord and his family.Two families,two couples and a man living in the only one room apartment in the building.The landlord and his wife who were a pain in the a$$ had three children,three very proud children though the youngest,a 6 year old girl was less proud and more friendly than the others,a boy her age and his elder sister who was in the university.The family living opposite them had twin children,4 year olds,a boy and a girl while the other family had just an older boy who was working.One of the couples though they pretend to be,were not married.
