Break up 💔💔

I sat down on my bed rounding up my assignment and my mum came In with a tray of cookies and juice.
“Sorry I did not knock, my hands were full”. she said.
No problem mom, you are welcome,she smiled and patted me.she left and I was soon alone ,my phone beeped and it was a message from Tony ,I clicked on it and it reads
“ baby, I looked for you , why did you leave early ?when we planned on meeting today,I miss your body princess”.
I signed and drop the phone and for the first time, I felt irritated when thinking about Tony.. It was obvious he was dating me because of sex or should I say “my money”, I knew he had so many sexual partners,  I really need to end things with him . I sent a message telling him I am done with the relationship, I waited for a few minutes and as expected his call came in ..I picked it…..
“hello Efua, what is wrong?” His voice chimed in
“Nothing , I said,I just need space “
He wanted to say something but I ended the call , he kept on calling and sending messages but I ignored all
“What is wrong with you Efua? I whispered to myself”.you changed because of a single stare,  I thought and soon drifted off to sleep…

I got to school the next day and as I parked, philo ran up to me and told me we freshers were been asked to join any sports. I was excited, I was going to choose swimming because that is what I love doing most. I was a good swimmer and won prices in high school. Then  philo and Betty joined me..
Well I think I am the only one who is going be in the swimming club because philo and Betty loves table tennis,  they were very good at it… but to my surprise only Betty chose table tennis and when I asked philo what she intends doing she grinned and said swimming
“What”. Betty and I screamed
You guys should lower your voices and is there crime in learning.she said.
I stared at her confused because I knew she hates swimming.. then as if reading my thoughts she said
“I am just here because of Troy.”
I looked at her with surprise as Betty walked away to the tennis side
Troy? What has he got to do with this…she looked at me and scoff you mean you don’t know Troy Adams is the swimming coach..oh! I remarked
I nodded absentmindedly, now I know where this is all going . Troy is a good swimmer, he is good at other sports but better in swimming…
Oh! And we are to submit the form directly to him
“Why”?asked
“Because he wants to know if we are are passionate about the sports or we are just bimbos who signed on because of him”.she said
“Just like you . I replied playfully and she punched me laughing “
I have my way with word Efua Daniels and she smirked at me,lest I forget she continued
What happened between you and Tony?she asked..
Nothing , we broke up . I said.
“We broke up” she micmicked me..you broke up with him Efua so stop this “ we” theory..she said rolling her eyes.
“Fine! I replied ,oI broke up.. I felt nothing in our relationship, no connection, no love it was as if we were just playing around.. I said trying to explain my self……she smiled and patted my back and said I knew it won’t take long before you figure out … I mean there was no chemistry between the both of you and Tony is a known flirt she said quickly seeing my surprised look… I support your decision…
I hugged her feeling relieved so let us go eat I am famished , I said gesturing jokingly. we both laughed and headed to the cafeteria holding hands

We got to the cafeteria and Betty was already seated eating with her Mike ,  she smiled and gestured us to come sit down.we walked towards them and sat down after ordering our lunch, Betty nudged me to look at the entrance and when I did I saw Tony and Tania , a b***h cuddling and kissing.. I looked away and smiled and believe me I felt nothing not even a pin of jealousy
“Are you okay ?” She asked. sure why won’t I? I replied, I never really liked that guy. She continued.good riddance to bad rubbish. she said and pouted and we all laughed..
“I am happy you are fine .Mike said and also you are pretty and it is a loss to him”.
I feel good dumping his a$$, I said and philo smiled and we did the high five shake giggling and I felt Tony stares.

”  Crazy ladies”,Mike muttered .
