We were soon called individually to Mr Troy office..

philo was just grinning. It was obvious she was excited, I can’t wait to see my Troy .she beamed happily .

“Your Troy “. I muttered.. you sound crazy…

“Whatever ,she smirked rolling her eyes”
“You could have just gone to the tennis club instead of coming here, it is ridiculous doing something you don’t like because of Mr handsome”.I told her
“But I can learn how to swim”, she said with an innocent smile …..

I nudged her to go in when her name was being called.she was deep in thoughts and probably didn’t hear…

she stood up and went into the office.
I studied the faces of the girls sitting beside me, they were all looking and gisting  excitedly…

just then philo came out beaming happily ..” he wrote my name down “.she said

Really ! What did you tell him ?
She shrugged and said , “I just told him that it is what I love doing since my mom taught me, we do swim together before she became so sick .. I swim to be happy”.

What! I gasped as the lies flow freely.”But your mum is not sick “..I said still shocked

She looked at me and said I told you I have a way with words.

Just then my name was called.. I looked at philo , shook my head and walked into Mr handsome office, he was jotting down something..

”Hello sir, I greeted “
“Hi .he said looking up ,I stared lustfully at him..”meh ,he is so handsome.”..
He cleared his throat and I stopped staring.. I totally lost it
“And you are? “He asked
“Efua Daniels”. I replied
He stretched out his hands and I handed the form to him, he studied it and he looked at me.

”So why interested in swimming?”. he asked
“Because I love it “. I replied
“Just that “. He said and scoffed
“Yes, just that “.I replied..

“So you mean you can’t defend who you love swimming”.He said obviously angry.
I smacked my lips and smiled
“Why do you love swimming? “I threw the question back at him

He was surprised and seem speechless
Hen ehem hen … he stammered.. “I love swimming because I love it”.he said
I smiled. “You see we saying the same thing sir, we both love it not because we have any reason but because it is our passion “. I said while he just stared on.. “That is what I love doing best “,” I don’t need to defend myself”.I continued.. “I don’t need to lie and look for reasons”,”I love it because I love it”. I completed and look at him..

He just stared at me… he stared for some time and said
“What is your name again?”.he asked
Efua Daniels . I replied
He smiled and said
Efua ,”welcome to Eagles swimming club”.

I smiled happily and stood up walking to the door, I felt his stares and looked back at him and like I guessed he was still staring and I couldn’t read his emotions.I felt my legs shaking and quickly walked out closing the door behind me”what is wrong with you Efua? “.I asked myself.. “That Stare again “.. The stare that makes my Heart beat fast..The Stare that makes me shiver… That stare..
