Chapter 09.

ALEXANDRA.

I quickly push him off me and walk around the room, I’m panicking already.

What will I do?

Mother is here and she I’ll know something is wrong if I don’t answer her and open the door.

“Hide in my closet. ”

I quickly whisker to Ryan and he raises his brows at me as if he doesn’t believe what I just said with his eyes wide.

“What? Of course not. Why the hell would I do that? I’m not hiding in the closet Alexa! ”

It’s the first time he has ever said my name and it’s crazy that I love the way it sounds coming from him.

What the hell am I doing?

mother is just few metres away from me right now.

“Alexa, is everything okay in the? Are you alright? ”

mother voice says again and I begin to panic again.

“Yes mother I’m fine. Everything I alright. I’m just busy with something. Gimme few minutes and I will open the door. ”

I breathe out as I turn to Ryan who’s smirking at me.

What the?

Does he think this is funny right now?

Oh, so he’s enjoying this right now? He just be kidding me

“I didn’t see you as one that lie. ”

He laughs and I quickly place my hand over his mouth before mother hears the sound of his laughter.

He stares at me and that’s when I realize I’m so close to him.

I quickly let go and move gaze instantly, staring at my feet before raising my head and he’s smirking at me once again.

Jerk!

“Would to please hide in my closet? I promise it’s just for fear minutes. ”

I rush my words since it seems like he doesn’t want me to tell him what to do.

“But what’s so wrong in this? I’m your neighbour and there’s nothing wrong with your neighbour paying you a visit to your room. ”

He grins and I roll my eyes at him.

“There’s everything wrong with your hot… ”

I stop the words I’m gonna say immediately.

What the hell? Was I just about to call him hot?.

“Come on say it, I know you have been dying to. ”

He grins and I roll my eyes at him.

“Alexa! I’m opening this door if you don’t! ”

Mother voice comes from the door and I jump before turning to Ryan and pouting at him, putting on my most best puppy face.

It usually works on everyone.

“That’s not gonna work on me. ”

He smirks and I frown. What’s with this guy?

“but I’m gonna hide because I don’t want to do thirty questions about why you’re in my daughters room with your mother is be fast to send her off so I night just come out when I get impatient. ”

He says and I grin, nodding before he walks into my closet.

I lock it before walking to the door and doing a cross sign.

I turn the knob of the door and mother walks in, frowning at me.

“Hey, what are hell have you been doing in here? Were you giving birth or something?

I heard your scream, is everything alright? ”

She asks as she walks inside and looking around, as if she’s looking for some sort of criminal.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I was just, I stepped on something and it hurts so I screamed.

I’m sorry I woke you up, you cab go sleep now.

Like you see now nothing is wrong. ”

I smile and she stares weirdly at me.

The way she does when she knows I’m telling a lie.

Without saying another word, she walks to the closet and I gasp as I quickly run to her.

“Mother, what are you doing? ”

I stand in front of her but she chuckles.

“Are you hiding something in there? ”

She raises her brows at me and I shake my head.

“No, I’m not. mother please leave, I need to get ready for school. ”

I groan and yawn in pretense. She stares at me for some time before nodding and turning say.

Thinking she’s gonna leave, I move away from the closet but she swiftly turns back and open the closet, revealing Ryan whose head is laid against my clothes and he’s stomping his feet.

Idiot!
