“Harmony, please…” Angelo took one step forward.

“Take one more step and I’ll call the security”

Angelo halted and began staring at her. Harmony looked at him with cold eyes like she would look to a stranger.

“Winter, let’s go” Harmony picked her mic and left the room.

Winter looked at Harmony then at Angelo. She sighed before following Harmony behind.

Angelo stood on his steps and gulped down when the memories of all what happened to him during this past four years flashed through his head.

The past four years was everything except from peaceful and relieving. He had to go through the darkest days in his life… All alone.

When he traveled, it was discovered that Melissa slandered money in the name of Daniel and that really gave a huge blow to Daniel’s company.

The company took possession of almost all of his father’s belongings, leaving him with barely nothing.

At a young age of 21, he had to go through a lot of hardship in order to grow back his father’s company back from scratch.

It took him more than 3 years to grow it back and when he thought the hardship was finally over, he got diagnosed of appendicitis.

Luckily, it hasn’t yet gotten to the incurable stage so he under went a surgery last month. The moment he regained consciousness, he immediately took the plane back to the US.

Angelo blinked severally, bringing him back from his trance. He sighed and ran his hands through his hair before leaving the room.

<CONCERT HALL>

“They’re s*xy, they’re two beauties with honey coated voice… Give it up for GOL~DEN!!!” The emcee said and screams erupted from the fans from all corners.

Some crazy fans began struggling with the security guards when the girls came to view. The spotlight shun on their gorgeous faces.

Winter winked while Harmony blew a kiss at them and the screams doubled.

“Go girl!! Whoo!!” Barbie and Tasha screamed crazily while waving their stick lights in the air.

“Are you guys ready for tonight?” Harmony said on her mic and the screams doubled.

“We can’t hear you guys.. Let me hear you f*cking scream!!” Winter said and the screams doubled, almost. If screams could bring down the hall, the hall would have been down by now.

Angelo who was standing amongst the crowd smiled..

“She made it..” He thought, smiling widely.

The beat of the music began playing and Harmony began jumping while waving her hands in the air, hyping the crowd even more

Harmony: Every time you’re near, my heart just skips a beat,
I get lost in your eyes, I feel like I’m complete,
I never knew a love that could feel so true,
I don’t know what I would do without you.

Harmony and Winter: I love you, more than words can say,

I can’t imagine life without your smile,

“Go girls!!” Cassidy screamed loudly, jumping up too.

“Calm down, don’t hurt the baby” Chance said to Cassidy who didn’t even hear him.

“Can’t believe this fóol will be a father before us” Evan frowned and turned to Tasha.

“Tonight let’s make some babies too okay?” He whispered but Tasha just stuff a piece of hotdog in his mouth.

“You must be hungry” Tasha scoffed and the others laughed.

They were all at the VIP sector so it was just them there.

“Guys..” A voice sounded behind them and Brandon was the first to turn back.

His eyes widened greatly.

“Angelo?” Brandon called, blinking severally to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.

Angelo smiled with his hands in his pockets.

“Long time…” He muttered.

Winter: You make my world a brighter place,
With every kiss and warm embrace,

And how you’re always there to share.

Winter and Harmony: I love you, more than words can say,

I can’t imagine life without your smile,

Harmony: And even when the dark clouds come around!!

Everything’s gonna be okay!!

Harmony sang the bridge with a high pitched voice. Silence issued for some seconds before Winter’s melodious voice came up

Winter: You’re the missing piece in my heart,
With you, I feel like I can do anything,
I love you – always and forever.

The outro music began playing as the whole crowd vibed with them. Their screams came up again when the song ended.

“Wow, you guys are really energetic. Let’s make this a long night!!” Winter chuckled on the mic.

“Our next song is for a diss song to all those who call us ugly and it’s called…” Harmony pointed her mic to the crowd

👥 Unpretty!!

The crowd shouted the name of the song and almost immediately the beating of the song began playing

“Yeah.. Yeah.. Yeah.. Unpretty, that’s what you are,
Fake from head to toe, you’ve gone too far,
Trying so hard to fit in,
But in reality, you’re just a sin” Winter rapped the beginning of the song.

<TWO HOURS LATER≈BACKSTAGE>

The concert went well and ended well. At the backstage, Brandon could be seen leaning on the wall with Angelo standing beside him.

“You better start talking before I punch you. Bro you literally cut all of us out for four f**king years!” Brandon glared at Angelo.

Angelo nodded and explained everything to Brandon without leaving out a single detail.

Brandon’s eyes widened in shock from all what he was hearing.

“You went through all these alone?!” Brandon exclaimed and Angelo nodded.

“F**k… What about the wound from the surgery, you should have at least waited for it to heal. Does it hurt?” Brandon made to touch his tummy but Angelo stopped him

“I’m completely fine” Angelo smiled.

“All I want is to talk to Harmony. I just want to explain things to her and ask for her forgiveness. I was the one who asked for a breakup so I would understand if she has moved on with another guy. I’m not going to ask her to take me back, all I just want is for her to forgive me then I can go back to Germany with a clean conscience.” Angelo said but Brandon just looked at him pitifully.

“You still do love her, don’t you?” Brandon asked and Angelo looked front.

“You already know the answer. She’s my first love and definitely my last coz all I see is her” Angelo smiled sadly, reminiscing of all the moments he had with Harmony.

Brandon sighed.

“Alright, I’ll think of something to do. You should go home and rest okay? Your wound might open” Brandon said and Angelo nodded.

“I missed you big bro” Angelo said and Brandon smiled.

“Same here kiddo” Brandon said and hugged him.

Angelo smiled and hugged him back. After few moments, they broke the hug and then walked out of the room to meet their friends outside.

“You jerk!” Barbie hit his shoulder before hugging Angelo.

“Dude.. We lowkey thought you were déad” Dennis said and Chance smacked his head.

“Shut up! You’re an adult but still talk like a kid” Chance rolled his eyes

Angelo chuckled and faced Winter who already changed from their stage outfit.

“Where’s Harmony?” Angelo asked.

“She left immediately the concert was over” Winter replied and Angelo nodded.

“She must be avoiding me…” He thought and sighed.

<ANDERSON MANSION>

Harmony immediately stormed out of the car without waiting for the driver to open the door for her. She ran into the house like flash..

Joanna smiled when she saw her.

“Harmo-”

Harmony ran pass her before she could finish talking. Harmony stormed in the kitchen.

“Suzy? Suzy! Where’s Suzy!” She asked the maids there

“She’s currently cleaning your parent’s room miss” One of the maids replied

Harmony immediately ran off and barged in her parents room to meet Suzy, the maid he asked to throw off the box containing Angelo’s gift to her

“Miss..” Suzy called, looking surprised to see her

“Suzy!! The box I asked you to throw, please don’t tell me you already did so?” Harmony asked breathlessly.

“Well I remember you use to cherish the box so much so I couldn’t just throw it away. I kept it back in your room miss, sorry if I didn’t obey you” Suzy bowed apologetically.

“Thanks so much Suzy” Harmony sighed in relief before heading to her room.

She got in as Suzy said, she met the box on her bed. Harmony walked to the box and opened it, bringing out the necklace.

She looked at the pendant that was sculpted with “GELONY”. Her mind went to when he gave it to her.

“Why are you back? You should have just stayed wherever you went… Why do you want to confuse me? You want to give me false hope again so that you can leave again huh? You want me to trust you again so that you can break that trust huh?” Harmony said while staring at the necklace.

She brought out the bracelet then looked at it. Her mind went to their first time together, they day she decided to give him her body.

“I hàte you! You liar, I hàte you!” She thought, fighting back her tears.

She brought out her phone then went back to all the texts she kept sending him. Just like 3 years ago, it still remained unread

She laid down on her bed and went to her gallery then to her archive where she put all of her pics with Angelo.

She began swiping through it, right from those days she used to tutor him and how she used to whip him each time he fails a question, to the first kiss they shared during their matriculation night.

Her mind went to their second kiss until a dog began chasing Angelo, then the day they went camping and got lost in the forest together. How Angelo confessed to her, the day they became officially a thing which was on the day she found out he was Crybaby.

All those memories they had together began coming back and she didn’t know when the tears she was fighting back escaped her eyes.

<ONE WEEK LATER≈GRAVEYARD>

Angelo placed the bouquet of flowers he came with on Daniel’s grave then he placed the other on Melissa’s grave.

“It’s been a long time right? Sorry for the long wait, I hope you guys are fairing well wherever you are” Angelo smiled

No matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to hate his mother.

“I know it must be hard but dad, please forgive mum and mum forgive dad in any way he wronged you” Angelo said.

“Also, I’m sorry dad but I think I’ll have to sell our mansion. It holds too many memories I wished I forgot, that place won’t be the same without you guys” Angelo said.

“I’ve also been trying to earn Harmony’s forgiveness for a week now but looks like she really hàtes me. She filed a restraining order against me so I can’t even go close to her or else I’ll be arrested” Angelo said and sighed..

“Brandon said he has a plan, let’s hope it works” Angelo thought and stood up straight.

“See you some other time. I love you guys, very much” Angelo smiled before leaving the graveyard.

He got in his car and drove to his new mansion he bought.

Harmony’s car stopped in front of the mansion. She looked up at the mansion.

“What the hell are you doing Harmony!” She screamed inwardly.

Earlier an unknown number sent her a pic of Angelo hugging a lady who’s face was hidden so she decided to come over and confirm her doubts, if she’s his girlfriend.

“Harmony, just go back home” She thought and made to enter back her car but stopped.

“No… I need to know, I want to move on.. If he confirms it then I see no reason holding onto the past” She thought before walking to the gate.

The guards were amazed to see a celebrity before her.

“I’m here to see Angelo Rodriguez, can I go in?” She asked and they immediately made way for her.

“This way miss” The security guard escorted her to the interior of the house

“Sir Angelo hasn’t yet return. Please be patient Miss” The maid said and Harmony nodded.

She sat down and decided to wait for him but immediately sprang up again.

“No.. I can’t stoop this low” She thought and turned to leave but bumped on someone.

“Harmony?” Angelo called and she looked up at him. Harmony immediately took some steps back.

“What brings you here?” Angelo asked.

“I.. I..” Harmony sighed then made to leave but Angelo grabbed her arm.

“Harmony please hear me out. Just this once and I won’t disturb your life ever again” Angelo said and Harmony yanked his hands off.

“You’re really a jerkish liar aren’t you? What do you want from me? Just let me be!! After all you’ve had what you wanted from me, go and enjoy with your lover!” Harmony said.

“Lover? You want to know who’s the woman I truly love? Come here” Angelo grabbed her arm and began dragging her upstairs.

“Let me go! Angelo, if you don’t let me go this instance I’ll file you for harassment!” Harmony struggled with him till they got to the study room, standing in front a big mirror.

“Here.. That’s the woman I love, and I’ll never stop loving her” Angelo said

“That’s me” Harmony whispered.

Angelo turned her to face him.

“Harmony, I’m really sorry if my actions left you heartbroken. I’m sorry okay, it’s just that-”

“Angelo let me go” Harmony said

“Harmony-”

“I said let go!!” Harmony pushed hard on the tummy and Angelo released her.

“Argh!” He groaned, holding his tummy.

“Angelo..” Harmony’s eyes widened when she saw his shirt dampen with blood.

“Angelo! Doll… Doll… Are you okay? I’m so sorry” Harmony lifted his shirt up and a gasp escaped her lips when she saw the bandage had already soaked with blood.

“I’m sorry” She muttered.

“Please help me with the first aid kit” Angelo said and Harmony immediately rushed to get it.

She came back and helped Angelo to redress the wound.

“I’m sorry” Harmony muttered again and Angelo smiled lightly as he finished buttoning back his shirt

“I’m fine…” He said and told her everything. How his father’s company went bankrupt and his surgery.

“I lost my phone and I didn’t bother to get a new one because yunno when life pulls you so down you’ll want to isolate yourself from social media” Angelo said and Harmony just looked at him, not knowing whether to believe him or not.

“Candy” Angelo took her hand and she felt sparks course through her body.

“I’m not telling you this for you to pity me. I am a jerk, a fóol, call me all that… I broke the promise I made to you. Asking you to take me back will be a dream I can’t even afford so you forgiving me will be enough for me… I’m sorry, very sorry I couldn’t be the knight in shining armor you expected me to me” Angelo smiled lightly, fighting back his own tears

Harmony sniffed, fighting back her tears as she looked at him.

“I can live with the pain of seeing you with someone else but you hating me for life, that’s something I can’t bear” Angelo said brought his hands to her cheek to clean her tears.

“Will all that said, I promise I won’t longer bother you. I’ll give you the space you asked me to do” Angelo said and stood up, releasing her hand.

He began heading to the exit and when his hand made contact with the doorknob, he paused when he felt arms around his waist.

“You jerk!! Leaving me once isn’t enough, you want to leave me again? Just take a gun and sh00t me since you want me to díe slowly! I’m sorry… I should have understood how you felt, rather than thinking about myself alone. I’m sorry, please don’t leave me again… Please” Harmony teared up.

She broke down in tears as she shed all the tears she has been holding for years. Angelo gulped down as a drop of tear fell from his eyes.
