“She’s my wife so kindly leave”Dylan said and Daisy smiled

“Whatever!”The girl scoffed and left

“Thanks for that”Daisy said

“I had too because she was disturbing me”

“But why aren’t you wearing your wedding ring, don’t you know it will call the attention of the ladies,they will think you are a single guy”Daisy said

“I don’t feel like wearing it,just leave me alone!”He snapped at her and Daisy sighed

“Dylan have someone ever told you that you are cute”Daisy suddenly said and Dylan looked up

“Wow you are trying to flatter me,well you succeeded”Dylan said smiling

“I wish you can continue smiling like this,that usual frown on your face doesn’t suit you”Daisy said

“Really? How did I look?”Dylan asked curiously

“Like a monkey”Daisy said making a monkey face and Dylan laughed out

“You must be joking,that can’t be how I look please”Dylan said trying to control his laugh

“I will make sure I take a picture of you when your face is like that,you will see I’m not joking” Daisy said

“Sorry about this question I want to ask,but how did your late wife die?”Daisy asked curiously

“That’s a memory I don’t wanna remember,she got involved in a car accident and died instantly,her face was burnt beyond recognition”Dylan said and he closed his eyes tight

“That’s so painful,but don’t worry you have me now”Daisy said touching his hand and Dylan moved his hand away

“Know your limits please”He simply said

“I’m sorry, I only just wanted to comfort you”

“Don’t touch me next time,I don’t like it when the opposite gender touch me”He said

‘But I’m your wife fool’ Daisy said in her head

“So any past boyfriend?”Dylan asked and Daisy hissed

“I had, actually 1 at high school and the other at college. The high school boyfriend was a flirt so I broke up,the second one was who I was dating before we got married”

“You broke up with the second one too?”

“No he broke up with me after I caught him cheating on me and he’s going to pay for it”Daisy said

“Pay? How?”

“Yes he has to pay,I don’t mean to brag but everything he owns is bought by me,I always give him everything he ask for and now he wants to get away, never! He made me feel like a fool”Daisy said

“Wow ,so what are you planning to do to him?”Dylan asked with keen interest

“I made him lost his job already,if not because of what he did I won’t have agreed to the wedding,why did you agree anyway?”Daisy

“My mum threatened to ki*ll herself if I don’t agree to the marriage,she’s so dramatic” Dylan shook his head

“What did she do?”

“She pointed a gun to herself and threatened to pull the trigger if I don’t agree,I was literally scared so I agreed”

“OMG 😂,Mrs Winston did that?”

“I’m telling you”

A waiter approached their table and the laughing couple looked up

“I’m sorry to disturb you,I just want to invite you to our gala dinner happening this night at the Miami Hall”The waiter said

“Gala dinner? What time please?”Daisy asked interestedly

“7 pm ma’am”The waiter replied

“We will be there”Daisy said

“I will be expecting you,by the way you both look great together,nice couple”The waiter said and Daisy smiled

“Thank you”Daisy and the waiter left

“Why did you make a promise you won’t fulfil?”Dylan asked

“Don’t you wish to go? Come on let’s attend it”Daisy urged

“Okay we will”

“Thanks Dylan”

~SAM’S PLACE
Sam got home looking tired

“How was it? Any luck?”Naomi asked

“No luck at all,I got rejected in all the places I went to,I’m so tired right now”he said

“You have to keep trying then,my baby and I can’t suffer please”Naomi said selfishly

“What about you? You just sit at home all day doing nothing,go out also and look for job!”Sam vented out

“How can you tell a pregnant woman to work? Don’t you know I mustn’t stress myself or I will suffer a miscarriage?”

“That will be better then!”He said and Naomi slapped him hard on his cheek

“How dare you say I should suffer miscarriage! Find something doing Sam!”

“I’m trying okay? It’s not my fault I got rejected”

“Didn’t I said you should meet up with Daisy? We need serious money,our foodstuffs is reducing”

“Hey calm down,Daisy is out of the country already”

“What the hell!”

~ROAD SIDE
Diane stepped out of her car looking frustrated already,her car suddenly stopped and she has been trying to start it but it won’t

She brought her phone to call her mechanic when a car stopped at her back and Richard came out

“Having problem with your car?”He asked and Diane got lost staring at him

How can someone be so handsome? She thought

“Miss?”Richard called her attention and she jolted back to reality

“My prince charming”She called

“I said do you need help with your car? Please I have others things to attend to and someone is waiting for me in the car” Richard said

“Oh right don’t mind me,my car suddenly broke down and I don’t know why”She explained

“Just that? I will do it now”Richard said as he set to work while Diane stared at him admiringly

“Done”Richard said dusting his palms

“You are done already? That was fast”Diane said

“It’s really not something serious,just minor issue,I will go ahead now”Richard said send made to leave

“Wait!”She called and and he turned back raising an eyebrow

“Actually can I have your number? Just to know you more better”Diane said

“Sure”Richard said and they shared each other contacts

“I hope to see you again”Diane said staring at him till he entered his car

Richard entered the car and Mary hissed immediately

“What?”

“What took you so long to come back?”She asked

“I didn’t take long”

“What were you discussing with the girl then?”

“Nothing,she only collected my number”

“Indeed”She scoffed

“Are you angry at me?”

“Just drive,we are late because of you”Mary said and Richard started driving

Romeo came out of one of the room,he just finished shooting

Immediately Maya went to meet him

“Hey Romeo”

“Maya what’s up?”He asked

“Nothing much,I heard that we are going to Miami for a sh00t,is that true?”She asked

“Yeah but they are still contemplating on it” He replied

“I hope it’s true, heard Daisy and Dylan are in Miami”Maya said

“Yes I know that”

“Romeo I need your help,I really love Dylan and I want him for myself,can you help me”She asked

“Why should I do that?”

“I don’t need your help,I will do it myself”Maya said and left

“Still hasn’t changed a bit”

~DYLAN’S ISLAND
Daisy came down the stairs looking so beautiful in her floor length royal blue dress on a pair of heels holding a clutch bag

Dylan couldn’t stop staring as he stared at his beautiful wife

“You look beautiful tonight”He complimented when Daisy finally got to him and she blushed

“You aren’t looking bad either”She said,he was also wearing a royal blue tuxedo on a white tie

“Can’t believe we wore matching outfits,hope you weren’t peeping while I was dressing?”Daisy joked

“Why will I do that? Can we go now?”He asked

“Sure let’s go” They both left the house

~MIAMI HALL
The couple arrived at the venue 30 minutes past 7 and they were ushered in by the waiter from earlier

“I’m so glad you made it”The waiter said all smiles looking at Daisy

“I’m glad I attended too,this place is beautiful”Daisy said admiring the hall decorated beautifully

“Call me if you need anything else,I’m mark by the way”The waiter said and left

“What a nice guy”Daisy said sipping from her cocktail drink

“When are we supposed to leave here?”Dylan asked looking bored already

“Leave? When we just arrived,I don’t think anytime soon though”Daisy replied

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen!”A MC greeted from the mic and everyone paid attention

“It is of our pleasure to welcome everyone to our beautiful venue tonight,as you all know we are celebrating our 15th anniversary of the restaurant that served you for years”

The hall applauded happily

“Let make a round of applause for the owner of Light restaurant,he really tried or didn’t he?”The MC asked

👥He tried!

They all chorused as they clapped again

“He’s not here yet but he will be joining us soon with his wife,turns out today is also their 20th anniversary!”

🗣️ Aww 🤗

“By the way you are looking gorgeous especially the ladies,our ladies here are looking so beautiful,your husband is really trying”The MC said and there was laughter

“Am I lying? Why don’t you come to the dance floor and shake what your mama gave you! Please our beautiful couples come out and dance, DJ play the music!” The MC said and immediately a slow song started playing,the couples came out and danced with each other

“Dylan let’s go and dance”Daisy pouted

“You can dance,I’m not stopping you”He simply said and a man approached them

“Please sir can you permit me to dance with your wife,she’s just too beautiful to resist”The man said and Dylan was able to object when Daisy talked

“Come on let’s dance”Daisy said dragging the man along with her to the dance floor

Dylan looked at them and he got angry when he saw the man’s hand on Daisy’s waist

“What the”He folded his fists looking at the hand

“Dylan calm down,it’s just a dance”He tried to calm himself but it seems it’s not working

He looked at them again and he frowned when he saw Daisy was enjoying herself with the man,she was even laughing!

He raised his head up and that was when he saw a man at a corner upstairs,he wore a mask and was pointing a gun at a direction

Suddenly,there was a gunshot and the chandelier started falling at where Daisy is
