Brandon’s tears immediately stopped and his eyes widened.

“Huh?” Brandon whispered with wide eyes.

Kaylee sniffed and cleaned the tears she didn’t know when it escaped her eyes. She walked up to his front and took his hand.

“I said I love you” Kaylee said audibly this time.

“Kaylee…”

“I’m very much away of what told me last time and I’m not asking you to love me in return neither. I’m just telling you this so that you know that even if the whole world turns it’s back on you, just know that you’ll always have a shoulder to lean on and that’s me…” Kaylee smiled.

She slowly brought her hand to his cheek, wiping the traces of tears.

“Brandon you’re not a bad person… You saved my life, you helped me in many ways without even knowing who I was back then.. You’re my hero Brandon.. I get it that you’re frustrated about not helping your mother out, I partially know how it feels too. Watching your mom get maltreated and beaten up by your dad and the worst is that you can’t do anything to help, I understand that feeling and I always had them bottled up till I met you, Harmony and everyone who became part of my life.” Kaylee said.

“Brandon, you’re not alone… You have friends who are willing to lend you a helping hand whenever you need it, try being open to them and I promise you that you’ll feel better. A painful situation becomes less painful when shared” Kaylee said

“Okay?” She smiled.

All through, Brandon kept looking at her. He wouldn’t lie that he felt a little bit relieved when he poured out everything to her.

“I’ll follow your advice” Brandon said and Kaylee nodded with a smile.

“Good! Now let’s go have dinner!” She held his hand and led him to the dining room.

Brandon looked at her and then at her hand holding his. He slowly smiled.

<NEXT DAY≈8AM>

“Oulala! Big sis is in a relationship with her Romeo” Kaylee gushed on the phone.

Juliet was leaning on the car in front of Romeo’s mansion, waiting for Alvin to come out so he drop him off to school.

She smiled and shook her head when Kaylee said that.

“Yeah whatever..” Juliet muttered.

“So tell me all the juicy details! How did he confess his love to you” Kaylee asked and Juliet’s head went blank.

“Huh?” She muttered.

“How did he confess his love to you? Wait_ Don’t tell me he didn’t tell you he likes you or anything like that? How the hell are you two dating?” Kaylee asked.

“It just happened… We nearly did it the other day” Juliet whispered her last phrase.

“What! How can you have s*x with a man you don’t even know how he feels about you!! Are you stupid or are you just naturally dúmb!!” Kaylee shouted.

“Hey watch your tongue girl, I’m older than you” Juliet frowned.

“Whatever, I need to prepare for school. Let’s meet at your workplace later” Kaylee said and hung up.

Juliet kept her phone and couldn’t help but frown as she began thinking.

“It’s true.. He hasn’t for once confessed to me or even said something that will allude to it. What if he’s just trying to get to my pants!” She said inwardly and just that thought enraged her.

“Best-Man!!” Alvin exclaimed and ran to his embrace.

“What’s up biggie” He ruffled his hair.

“I’m great!” Alvin gave her his thumbs up before entering the car

“I’m also ready, let’s drop Alvin to school before heading to work” Romeo said, fixing his tie.

He smiled and made to kiss Juliet but Juliet pushed him off.

“Don’t touch me!” She glared at him before entering the car. Without waiting for Romeo to get in, she drove off immediately

Romeo stood on his spot, blinking as he tried to understand what just happened.

“What did I do again?”

<RODRIGUEZ MANSION>

The Rodriguez family was in the dining room as they had their breakfast. Nobody spoke, just the sound of cutleries were heard as they ate.

“Your semester results came out and you did… Pretty well, your new tutor must be doing wonders” Daniel (Angelo’s father) said while cutting his meat.

“Yes… Father” Angelo muttered with his head down.

His head immediately spin when his father said the next words.

“Congratulations, I’m proud of you” He said with that usual bony look on his face

Angelo swiftly looked up at his father… Is he dreaming? Is it real? Did his father just congratulate him? He made his father proud?

Angelo smiled widely immediately.

“Thank you father” He said and Daniel gave him a short nod without looking at him.

Angelo bit his lips, looking down at his meal. If not because of the rule that no noise should be made in the dining room, he would have been jumping by now.

Melissa patted his back and smiled at him. He mirrored her smile.

“Is it the right time to tell them about Harmony?” Angelo thought and faced Daniel.

“Um father..” He called and Daniel looked at him.

His grip on his fork and knife tighten..

“I… I.. I..” Angelo looked down, not knowing how to say it. He certainly doesn’t want to change the atmosphere between them.

“I have-”

“You have a girlfriend, I know… I have eyes everywhere” Daniel said before he began cleaning his mouth with the handkerchief.

He stood up and the maid beside him helped with picking his briefcase and coat.

“I’ll be free by 1pm tomorrow. Bring her over at the company” Daniel said and began walking out.

“Darling, you haven’t yet touched your tea” Melissa muttered and Daniel immediately shot her a hateful glance.

She immediately went mute as she watched Daniel leave the dining room.

Melissa sighed sadly and looked at Angelo who kept smiling widely.

<SUNNYSIDE COLLEGE>

Harmony got down the car and almost immediately, the students swoon around her.

👥 Harmony you look so pretty today! What’s the make of your shampoo?

👥 Harmony, I’ll be throwing a pool party next week, mind coming?

👥 Harmony, why don’t you create an Instagram account, I’ll be your number one follower.

👥 I watched the survival show and you were on fire! I’m rooting for you!!

Harmony blinked as she looked at everyone confusedly. Since when did she became so popular??

“Is it how it feels when you’re dating a celebrity?” She thought.

“Move aside!” Barbie pushed her way in till she got to Harmony.

“Harmony is my best friend! Nobody steals her away from me!!” Barbie stuck out her tongue and pulled Harmony away.

“That was suffocating” Harmony sighed.

“That’s because you’re dating Angelo and also because we all watched the survival show. You’ll win this Harmony!” Barbie gushed.

👥 Who’s she?? She’s hot!!

👥 Look at those waist… Damn!!

Murmurs began when a girl walked in the college.

Harmony gasped when she saw they were actually talking about Kaylee. She wasn’t longer dressed as a guy.

She was wearing a black crop top with jeans and a jacket, totally her style yet she still looked hella hot!

“Kaylee!” Barbie hugged her tightly.

“What are you doing? Thought you said your father-”

“I don’t longer live with him and I don’t longer give a damn about him… He can go díe for all I care, I’ll just go and explain everything to the school’s authority. I just hope they’ll understand my situation” Kaylee said.

“Don’t worry, I can call my parents and they’ll surely help out” Harmony said and Kaylee smiled widely

“Thanks so much girls!” Kaylee hugged them.

She sighed when she thought of something.

“Gosh! That was so humiliating!!” She screamed out.

“What?” Barbie and Harmony asked at the same time.

“I.. I confessed to Brandon yesterday in a very inappropriate way” Kaylee sighed loudly.

“What!! What did he say?” Barbie exclaimed excitedly.

“Well he didn’t say anything yesterday since he was not in a state to give me a reply but today he’s been avoiding me. I feel like things between us will change now, gosh! I shouldn’t have said it” Kaylee whined.

“Said what?” Angelo popped in, hugging Harmony’s waist from behind.

“Here comes the number 1 oppressors in my life.” Barbie rolled eyes.

“Yeah, try and pity us the singles” Kaylee scoffed then left with Barbie.

“What did we do?” Harmony asked cutely.

“They’re just jelly” Angelo turned her to him.

“Guess what Candy, dad wants to see you tomorrow” Angelo said and Harmony choked on air.

“What!!” She exclaimed and Angelo nodded.

“You heard me right” Angelo smiled.

“Your dad wants to see me tomorrow? Gosh! What do I do? What will I say? What if he doesn’t like me? Jeez, this is going too fast..” Harmony sighed.

“I need to secure my territory and I don’t want to hear any sh*t like you’re betrothed to someone or nonsense like that… I want to make sure you’re my first and last love” Angelo said.

“Really? I’m your..your first love?” Harmony asked and Angelo nodded.

She looked down and blushed immediately. Looks like she really hit the jackpot.

“Don’t worry about everything. Just be yourself and I’m sure my dad will like you” Angelo said and she smiled then nodded.

“Great, let’s go. Our lectures are about to begin” Angelo said and they left

Tasha came out of her hiding with tears in her eyes. She cleaned her tears and folded her fists tightly.

“She didn’t even ask for my forgiveness for backstabbing me. That’s how fast they’ve forgotten about me” Tasha muttered.

“You’ll regret this Harmony, mark my words” She said bitterly.

She looked up to see Chance looking at her. Tasha shot him a glare before leaving too.

“Why can’t I forget about you no matter how hard I try” Chance sighed sadly and made to leave but someone grabbed his shirt from behind so he turned to see it was Cassidy.

“Cassie” He smiled.

“Umm Chance… I was hoping if you can” She bit her lips nervously.

She brought out two tickets and showed it to him. Chance looked at it then smiled lightly.

“Sure, I’ll go watch a concert with you.” Chance said and Cassidy smiled.

“8pm tomorrow, right?” She asked and Chance nodded.

“Sure, just text me your address and I’ll come pick you up” He said and pinched her cheek before leaving.

Cassidy touched her cheek and smiled widely before looking at the tickets.

<RESTAURANT>

Winter was seen at a table as she waited for Marco. It’s almost 30 minutes now and he’s nowhere to be seen.

“Where is he? I missed 4 hours of my lectures today, he better not ditch me” Winter frowned.

“Thinking about me?” Marco said from behind her.

“Finally” Winter rolled her eyes.

Marco smiled and sat down next to her..

“I was surprised when I saw your text, so what do you need me for” Marco asked.

Winter searched on her phone for Harmony’s picture. She showed it to Marco.

“This girl’s name is Harmony, she’s a major barrier for me in achieving my dream goals. First was my dream man and now my dream job and I want her out of my way by every means possible but don’t tamper with her life. You said I should contact you if I need any kind of help so here I am” Winter said.

Marco looked at the picture and slowly smiled.

“You see, that makes it one thing we have in common. She’s also a major hindrance to me in achieving my dream and I want her out of my way too but I want her want completely annihilated” Marco said.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Winter asked but Marco just smirked.

“So I’m ready to do it for you but under one condition” Marco said.

“What condition?”

“So you see, your mother and I are good friends and it’s been long we’ve last seen each other so I want you to make it possible we meet in a very,, very secret place” Marco said.

Winter looked at him for awhile before she nodded.

“Deal”

<SUNNYSIDE COLLEGE>

The first four hours of the lectures were over and it was gym time. Angelo smiled as he headed to his dressing room while chatting with Harmony on his phone.

He got in the dressing room and as usual it’s empty since everyone has already changed. He walked to his closet and brought out his sportswear then began changing to it.

He wore his short and when he was about to wear the jersey, he heard noises

He turned and to his greatest surprise Tasha was standing there, naked in all her glory.

“What the f**k!” Angelo quickly turned his back to her.

“What are you doing! Get out!!” Angelo flared up.

Tasha smiled and began walking to his front. Angelo made to leave the room but she blocked his path.

“This is the level of shamelessness you’ve made stoop. Angelo don’t you see how much I love you? I want you.” Natasha said and began caressing his abs but Angelo slapped her hand off, trying as much as possible not to look at her.

“Tasha, get out before I do something that you won’t like” Angelo said with restrained anger.

“What is it that she has that I don’t have, is it bbs, àss, psy? I have them all. One chance just give me one chance… I’m willing to be your-”

“Candy? Are you done dressing up?” Harmony opened the door and walked in.

Her eyes widened when she saw the scene in front of her. Anger slowly began bubbling inside of her.

“Tasha!” She exclaimed while Tasha glared at her hatefully

“How f**king dare you?” Harmony shouted, removing all the valuable assets she was wearing on her wrists before placing it on the table nearby.

“You tried drowning me, I said nothing… You tried using me, I said nothing.. Now you wanna steal my man?” Harmony said menacingly that Tasha began taking steps backwards.

This will be the first time she’ll be on the receiving end of her anger.

Harmony grabbed a baseball bat she saw laying around.

“No God is going to be saving you today” Harmony said and raised the baseball bat up
