Chapter 69
Laura’s POV
Sipping from my glass of wine, I watched Claire as she made out with a man in the pool. They both don’t care about who was present looking at them. I should have joined them making it a threesome, but decided against it. The man is not my type. Last night event made me smile; Luciano was so dumb in trusting me

I had planned with Claire to drug him and get what I wante. Last night, she was on the ship dressed as a waitress. She drugged one of the drinks and made a sign on the one she drugged. Passing by, I stopped her like anyone would do, as we exchanged secret eye contact. I got her message, picking up the two glasses, and sipped from the clean one. I wasn’t expecting Luciano to take the drink from me, but thanks to my stars, he fell for every damn plan.

Last night was hurt, I could still feel his d**k in my c*nt…hmm, very soon, both his little man and wealth will be mine. I smirked, watching as Claire exit the pool.

“Hey babe” she exhaled, sitting beside me. I didn’t respond, only smiled. “So tell me, any more plan against the big guy, or you only wanted to satisfy your urge last night” she asked. I smirked

“Nah…that was just to give him a little of me. I will just wait for my plans to go smoothly”

“What…plans?” She asked. I explained to her how his preggie girlfriend called last night, and how I acted.
“I even sent her the video of our sex” I added. Yes, a camera had been planted in his room beforehand, I made sure of that with the help of a random cleaner.

“Phew, you are a great planner girl..so you think the lady will leave him after seeing the video” she asked. I shrugged. “Even if she doesn’t, the mansion is still my home, my matrimonial home. Angel is my child, I still have every damn right in that house, once I go back she will surely leave.”
“So you are planning on going back?”

“Yes…but I have informants..they will tell me of the current situation before I take my next step” I noted. She pouted

“So your gonna leave me here? Your bestie…” I chuckled. “Come on girl, where I go, you go ..and whereas there are hot guys in Canada…perhaps you will find someone to take you to the altar” I snickered. She laughed out. “If that’s the case, who am I to say no” we both burst into another round of laughter.

“Hey girls, ain’t you coming in” the man in the pool called out. Claire winked at me. I groan
“He’s not my type” “You will like him, trust me…let’s go” she dragged me into the pool before I could resist the offer.

Luciano had taken the next flight back to Canada within a space of hours, he couldn’t stay back anymore, giving others to people without being there himself. He felt confused and angry about every damn thing, he shouldn’t have left them to the mercy of the enemies, he should have known better.

He rushed to the clinic first to check on Babe. The operation had been done which almost took her life; according to the doctor, the child was just 7 month and that was a tough task bringing it out, which led to severe bleeding. The child has been placed in an incubator.

“How is the mother?? Is she alright” he asked. The doctor sighed, touching his shoulder.
“We discovered she had a high blood pressure before going into labor, which led to postpartum Eclampsia…”the doctor explained.

“I don’t understand…what does that mean?” He asked. “It’s a serious medical condition, which should have been attended to but, happens in rare cases like this. She almost died, but thanks to God we did our best..just that… she’s now in coma” he stated, weakening Luciano’s bones.

“Coma…” He whispered. The Doctor nodded. “Don’t panic sir, there is a high possibility that she would revive soon. She’s a strong woman” he assured.

That word didn’t leave his mind as he left the hospital, he couldn’t even see her, and it’s damn late already. He felt like crying, perhaps that would solve the problem, but he isn’t a kid to do so, he needs to be strong, if not for anyone, but for Helen who he decided to take home with him.

The young lass hasn’t changed from her uniform. Sam had only gotten lunch for her which she didn’t eat at all due to the situation of her sister and mum likewise. Luciano had ordered the doctor’s to start the operation on her mum, and not to relay Babe’s condition to her, since she is unaware of it.

Unknown hideout
Harry walked into the building where he met the thugs he hired to do the job, smoking and merrying perhaps with the money he paid them. He frown angrily, walking up to their leader.

“Hey, have you called him yet” he asked. The leader stood up, puffing out smoke from his mouth and nostril
“No” he replied in a dim voice, pissing Harry off. “God damn you, you should have called him and let him know about the situation on ground, I want the exchange to be made tomorrow” he snapped. The leader of the gang scoffed at his ridiculous idea

“You want us to be caught by the police? That man is highly intelligent, he gat well trained personnel as bodyguards. If we weren’t well prepared and went in mass we wouldn’t have done the job. The one guard man shot three of my men dead, we couldn’t even ki*ll him, he would have killed us all if we weren’t smart enough to grab the child. We need to wait for 24 hours, before taking any decision” he stated

“F**k this, I should be on my way to Ireland tomorrow, I need to go with my girlfriend. If we call him now, make a deal with him. He will come for his child and bring my girl” he resorted

“Do you think he is that foolish… whatever fine…go ahead and call him, but you ain’t using my phone” the leader snapped
Harry hissed, bringing out his phone, he dialed Luciano’s number and handed it to the leader, who glared at him

“You are gonna speak, he doesn’t have my number, but might recognize my voice. I won’t be the one to do the deal…” He whispered. The phone rang for a long time before connecting.

Luciano’s POV
It was almost midnight, while I was having discussion with my private investigator; my phone rang as the callers ID made me frown. It showed unknown. “Ain’t you picking up your call Mr. Luciano ” the officer asked. I sighed, rubbing my temple.

“It’s an unknown number.” I stated. “Pick it, it might be the kidnappers” he stated. I picked up only to hear a rough voice. Doesn’t sound like someone I know.

“Thought you wouldn’t pick up” he blurted out. The officer beside me picked up his laptop, typing into it, only God knows what he is doing. He gave me an eye signal to continue with the call.
“Who is this, and why are you calling me at this late hour” I snapped. He laughed out

“You don’t seem like you are missing your lovely daughter huhn…” He stated. “What are you talking about?” I asked, feigning ignorance. But within me, I feel like grabbing his neck from within the phone.

“Stop playing pranks with me mister man, you have just 24hpurs to get your daughter..but first it comes with a price” he snarled.

I paused gulping in. “bas***d…and I’m giving you 24hours to bring back my daughter..what the hell do you want from me” I yelled, only to receive a signal from the officer asking me to calm down.

“Let’s meet at Erlean’s cave tomorrow, there we would have a deal…and lest I forget, don’t come along. I believe you have a very beautiful girlfriend; make sure she tags along. Just you both, trust me, if the police hears about this, I won’t hesitate to pull a bullet through your sweetheart’s head” he muttered ending the call. I groan.

“I have tracked the location…the abductors are novice, they ain’t smart one bit” he muttered, but I paid no attention. He doesn’t know how dejected I feel right now. I relaxed on the couch, placing my head on my two palms.

“Hey… you’re gonna get your daughter…trust me.. I’ll get my men, we move immediately” he stated. I stood up to follow.

“No you will have to stay back sir, you need to rest..please” he pleaded. I nodded, hoping they succeed in their mission. I can’t wait to have my child in my arms.
