We were in shock as we kept wondering who could have sent the lunch.

Ruth walked furiously and rushed to get the flask.

Although I couldn’t see her but the footsteps sounded angrily.

I heard her taking it and wasted the food in the wast bin.

She threw away the flask angrily and used her legs to continue mashing it like she was trying to ki*ll an insect.

Samuel pinched me as I smiled .

” What’s funny” I whispered as Ruth kept strangling the flask with her foot.

” Boss.. can’t you see she’s jealous” Samuel whispered into my ears using a palm to cover the site of his mouth.

” Hey.. what are you two whispering about huh?” Ruth asked coming.

” Ruth..for the first time I’m seeing you this furious, don’t tell me you’ve already fallen in love with me for a long time and right now you’re jealous because another woman sent me lunch” I said smiling.

” like seriously Rado? You know that’s impossible…hey you two had better tell me who she is.. Samuel say something…” She said aloud.

” Ruth dear.. please come sit close to me” I said stretching my hand to her as she held it and sat beside me.

” Rado..who was she” she asked calmly.

” Ruth.. honestly we don’t know who she is..we thought the food was from you because the delivery boy said it was from you… Ruth it maybe some secret admirers okay.. don’t worry they can’t take me away from you” I said smiling.

” You…stop messing around with me” she said sounding like she’s about to laugh.

” By the way.. tomorrow is the day,you remember?” I asked.

” Of course I remember, you’ll be at the hospital for your surgery, listen Rado you don’t have to be scared.. I’ll be right there with you ” she said holding my hand.

” Ruth, exactly what I want to happen..I want you to be the first person I set my eyes on..” I said calmly.

” If I’m not there then who can be there..I really can’t wait to see you looking at me with your eyes” she said sounding very happy.

” Me too Ruth, immediately I see ..we’ll proceed with our wedding plans” I said smiling.

” You jerk ,I haven’t even said yes to you..” she said happily.

” Saying yes doesn’t matter to me..in as far as I know how you feel about me hahaha… Samuel please get me the necklace I bought for her” I said smiling.

” Yes boss” he responded.

” You bought a necklace for me?” She asked sounding happy.

” Of course ” I responded happily.

” Boss here you go” Samuel handed it over to me.

” Ruth..I want you to be at the hospital with this necklace,as soon as I open my eyes and see you, I’ll use it and prove to you that I can really see by putting it on you” I smiled giving it to her.

” OMG, it’s so beautiful.. Rado who thought you how to treat a woman,was it Samuel?” She asked happily.

” Yes it was me Ruth” Samuel responded as I cut in.

“Impossible,you that almost fought a delivery girl yesterday.. hahaha ” I said laughing.

” Rado.. thank you so much for this..it looks very precious ” Ruth said happily.

” You deserve the best..by the way you should get going before your mum calls” I said.

” No way I want to stay a Little with you” she said hugging me.

” Okay okay.. that will happen tomorrow after the surgery, don’t want my mother-in-law to start complaining about us..you should go now my love ” I said smiling.

” Fine.. I’ll go but don’t let any secret admirer into this house..” she said aloud.

” Someone is jealous ” Samuel said from behind.

” You jerk,go find a woman…” She said playfully.

” Goodbye super woman ” I said.

” Goodbye handsome ” she responded leaving.

Suddenly we heard Samuels phone ringing.

📞 Hello aunty” Samuel said with the call on speaker.

📞 Samuel, it’s your mum.. she’s been vomiting blood and haven’t eaten for days,I just took her to the hospital.. please you need to come home immediately ” she said in tears and Hung up.

” Samuel..that sounded serious…you need to rush back home and see how your mum is doing ” I said.

” Boss.. I’m so confused..how could my mum be passing through such, she’s all I have left..boss what should I do now,I can’t leave you.. your surgery is tomorrow..” he said sounding very worried.

” You punk… common stop thinking about me..my doctor will call tomorrow morning I’ll ask him to come take me over to the hospital,you just have to leave immediately and come back when she’s fully recovered, your job is still available, don’t be scared.. Samuel you’re not just a guard man to me, you’re my brother and best friend.. please believe me and rush now to your mum” I said.

” Thank you so much boss.. I’ll call you once I arrive ” he said about to go.

” Hey wait up.. take one of the cars ” I said.

” Really boss?” He asked sounding surprised.

” Go on.. take any of the cars you want ” I said again.

” Thanks boss ” he said rushing out.

I got home still frowning thinking about the secret lunch girl.

Yes I’m gonna start calling her like that.

If she’s not Afraid of me let her show herself to me then.

” Hey kid sis what with the long face” Lisa asked lying on the bed.

I kept mute for some secs,threw my hand bag on the bed and fell on her body.

” Ahhhhh… Ruth… goodness that was painful” she screamed.

” It’s not painful as what I’m passing through right now” I said sadly on her body.

” What’s happening with you today,talk to me.. did Rado upset you?” She asked concerned.

” Ruth.. could you imagine someone sent lunch to Rado” I said angrily.

” What! Impossible.. you’re joking..” she said surprisingly.

” Of course I’m not.. Lisa someone is trying my patience” I said angrily.

” What nonsense,our gender can be so foolish.. even after seeing you both together they still want to come , Ruth.. common stop putting on that face..I know Rado wouldn’t love anyone except you” she said.

” Of course he wouldn’t dare, infact he didn’t eat the food..I threw it away ” I said angrily.

” Really! That’s right of you..I trust you in that…no one messes with you.. common pretty sis stop frowning” she said.

” Tomorrow he’ll be at the hospital for his surgery and he said he wants me to be the first person he sees..” I said smiling.

” I can see the smile coming..go baby..go baby..go baby… hahaha she’s smiling already ” Lisa playful said.

” Of course I should.. Rado loves me so much.. take a look at this.. this is a golden necklace,he bought it for me and wants me to go with it to the hospital so that when his eyes are open.. he’ll prove to me that he could see by putting it on me” I said happily.

” OMG.. high five sis” Lisa said as we jam hands together.

” Goodness kid sis,that Rado is romantic…hey wait a sec..let me have the necklace so you won’t start spoiling it… I’ll keep it in my box so that tomorrow very early you get it and leave to the hospital ” she said as I hurriedly gave it to her.

” Of course..you can keep it for me.. goodness sis I’m so tired..let me have some rest ” I said tiredly.

NEXT DAY MORNING.🌄

I heard a bell ringing in my ears as I was deep asleep.

I woke up as a result of the bell calling.

I opened my eyes and saw Lisa holding the bell and placing it on my ears saying.

” Waki wakiiii…” She said aloud.

” Goodness Lisa let me sleep please” I said closing my eyes.

” Wow..it seems my little sis has forgotten what day it is today” she whispered.

Suddenly I remembered and stood up from the bed immediately.

” OMG..I should be in the hospital with Rado…oh no oh no..” I rushed into the bathroom immediately.

Was done showering.

I wore my clothes and was about leaving.

” Hey Ruth.. don’t be silly , today is going to be the first day Rado sets his eyes on you..you should look prettier..come here,sit let me apply some makeups on your face” she said as I sat down happily.

” You’re always good at that,and I know I’ll definitely look pretty sis ” I said happily.

Few minutes later she was done with the makeup..I looked through the mirror and saw how stunning I was..

” Thank you sis” I said happily.

” Here you go.. take my new car key and drive yourself down to the hospital ” she said giving her new car keys to me.

” What! Lisa..this is too much sis..dad just got that car for you yesterday…you haven’t even used it” I said surprisingly.

” Don’t be silly miss , we’re sisters..all I want is for you to show your Rado how rich and beautiful you are physically ” she said happily.

” Oh sis..thank you.. would you want to come with me?” I asked happily.

” Of course not..go baby.. common you should leave immediately ” she said as I hugged her and left.

I got outside and took the new car with me.

It’s so beautiful…

I have two cars but I also need a new one Like Lisa,I know dada will definitely buy mine for me next month.

“Oh my dear Lisa..see how beautiful I look”I said happily driving.

” Goodness a vehicle is coming Infront.. gosh I almost forgot myself…” I said trying to hold the brakes but it wasn’t working.

Common brakes you have to hold.

“What’s happening” I asked myself trying very hard to Hold the brace as I heard the car Infront horning and trying to create space for me but I kept going to the wrong direction putting us in danger.

” Oh no..oh no..oh no.. what’s happening..you have to hold.. pleaseeeeeee” I screamed trying very hard with my foot.

Our cars was already closed and suddenly my car ran into the other car.

Light fades.

I woke up in the hospital with a bandage covering my eyes.

I heard a voice saying.

” Mr Rado your surgery was successful” he said.

” Are you serious doctor? I can now see?” I asked happily.

” Yes sir.. should I take of the bandages?” He asked.

” No..no..not yet doctor.. please is there a lady called Ruth in the hospital? I mean is they a girl that came as my family? please bring her here.. she’s the first person I want to see” I said smiling.

” Mr Rado..the lady is sitting right beside you” the doctor said as I felt a hand touching mine.

” Ruth.. it’s you…you came” I said happily as the doctor helped me removed the bandages on my face.

Behold..I finally set my eyes on the woman I love.

” Ruth.. Ruth I can see you” I said happily as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She rushed closer to me in tears and hugged me tight.
