HOUSE OF THORNS

Semi Finale

Episode 53

Tales by Eve

Valerie and her sister’s weddings will forever be talked about and remembered. Never in history had two gorgeous sisters married two charming men at a time. The two couples dazzled so brightly that guests were over themselves, gushing and ‘ahing’.

The church wedding soon ended and the reception began in earnest. An exquisite hall was used for the twin occasion, and even though guests were mingling and giggling, with most people doing all they could to meet one special person or another, Leonard and Valerie were busy whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ears.

The two love birds watched in absolute pleasure, as their mothers tussled to outdo each other. The two women were all out to make the day a very memorable one.

Vince was beaming with smiles, too fulfilled to have finally made it to the finish line with the woman of his dream, to care about his parents’ conspicuous absence.

Every young man and woman, looked forward to having their parents stand sure and true on their big day, but his own parents had left him way too early.

The had talked about the fact that his parents would be missed that day, and how it might impair his demeanor that day, in one of the several meetings, held in preparation for the occasion.

Even though Vince had done his best to assure everyone in the meeting that day, that he’d be okay, Tricia’s mother had insisted that all the parents wore the same outfit, that way, majority of the guests would really not be able to tell which parent was there or not.

And true to her projection, people looked at the beauty of the unity among the inlaws, and couldn’t tell the parents apart. Vince’s godfather was convinced to wear the parents’ attire, so there were two fathers and two mothers in the hall that day.

In the end, Leonard’s father wasn’t totally missed, and Vince’s biological parents would certainly be dancing for joy in their graves at the happiness their son found in his new family.

Vivian and Pascal made their way to Valerie and Leonard’s seat as the reception was winding to a close, to congratulate them. She spent a good amount of time, thanking Leonard and Valerie for standing by her in her darkest moments, in spite of what she had done to them in the past.

Valerie got up from her seat and gave Vivian a very warm hug, complementing her good looks and how perfect she looked besides Pascal, while Leonard appreciated Pascal for being such a gentleman.

As soon as the wedding reception ended, the two couples went their separate ways. They had their wedding proposal together, the wedding ceremony together, and in fact the wedding reception, together. But there was no way they were going to get on each other’s ways, on the wedding night!

Tricia and Vince arrived the hotel they had chosen for their wedding night. The room they had booked was already perfectly decorated to suit it’s purpose.

The two love birds looked at each other with so much love and passion. The happiness of making it together at last, made them speechless. They simply looked at one another, as they sat on the couch, smiling lovingly.

On Vince’s part, even though he had always believed in what they shared, even though he never doubted her feelings for him, he was sometimes afraid of his ability to stay deserving.

There had been times he had to fight the fear of his father’s deficiencies popping out in his subconsciousness. He had been too worried about being a wrong partner that he almost developed atychiphobia.

Way back before he met Tricia, the foundation that picked him up after his parents demise, helped him overcome the Catagelophobia he developed after watching his parents push themselves to oblivion.

So when he noticed he was being irrationally too scared of failing to do well besides the woman he loves, he had to run back to the only family he had then, and they did help him.

He was particularly happy that not only had he come out strong from his tra.uma, he had become so liberated that he was able to stand as a force, to help Leonard and Valerie discover the love budding in their hearts.

Tricia had always been afraid of finding a man who’d love and appreciate her. A man who wouldn’t be in a competition with her, but stand by her as a force that spurs her on to do her best.

And when she first met Vince, she never expected that things would keep moving from good to better, and now, she could almost say, they have arrived at their best. But with the mutual love and respect they have for one another, she could tell they were headed for the best days of their lives together, having finally tied the.knot.

Vince and Tricia had shared kisses in the past, they have cuddled and smooched endlessly, but he had always been too careful to avoid stepping an inch beyond the boundary she had clearly set from the onset of the relationship.

But with the two of them now officially wedded, Vince was grinning at her lasciv.iously, making her cover her face in demureness.

“Will you quit being a bul.ly?” Tricia fired at him, seeing how he seemed to enjoy teasing her non-stop.

“I haven’t done anything improper my lady, I’ve only been wondering where to start from” he told her, intentionally trying to sound innocent , while he flir.ted with her.

He got up from the couch he’d been sitting on, and walked towards her in slow and deliberate steps. And with each step he took, he let his hands unbutton his shirt, intentionally looking at her deeply in the eyes as he approached her.

By the time he got to her sides, he had become totally unclad, and Tricia turned around in embarrassment, not knowing how to act. It almost seemed as if they were behind closed doors for the first time.

Vince was feeling like the boss. Tricia was acting like a school girl, and he was feeling so good with himself. He tugged at the lace behind her dress, and the dress came falling off in a moment.

Tricia hugged herself abashedly, unable to raise her face, and then, Vince hugged her from the back, allowing his fully charged propagator push her soft buttocks aggressively, Tricia shivered.

He turned her around slowly for a kis.s, and even though her eyes were closed, her lips parted submissively as she felt his face inching closer to her.

Time stood still, her head was spinning uncontrollably as he kept deepening the kiss, allowing his hands grope around her body without restraint.

Why did this kiss feel so good? Why did it feel so different and so warm? Was it because this time it felt right? Could it be because while they kissed, they had no boundaries to be worried about?

Whatever it was that made being ki.ssed feel this good, Tricia didn’t want to know, she just didn’t want the ki.ss to end. In time, she ki.ssed him back in equal vigour, making him m.oan deeply, as she touched him in places she’s never been before.

And that was only the beginning of their amorous congress. Vince lifted his wife with so much ease and walked briskly to the giant bed. His hands moved quickly, getting her out of the ling.erie she’d been wearing.

The horizontal tango began on a full scale almost a century after, for they had spent a very long while, teasing and tempting each other. And then they were doing squat thrusts in the cucumber patch.

It was almost midnight before the newly Weds had their dinner, after having to spend the whole evening, exploring the hidden valley.

And so, the two lovers sat spoon feeding each other, feeling so fulfilled after not only getting married, but successfully consummating their marriage. A thing Vince had been dyi.ng to get done since the priest declared them man and wife.

Elsewhere, Valerie was looking at Leonard flirtatiōusly, after being ki.ssed sil.ly. He had carried her all the way from the car to the hotel lounge he had booked for the night.

Leonard had always told her he wanted nothing but have her dance for him on their wedding night, so even though she was acting all bold as they got into the room, she was looking for a way to postpone the tango.

She proposed the dance, and Leonard agreed on the condition that she dances with just her lingerie. “Why not?” she’d told him, and turned on the music to begin the dance
