Episode 14

“Mr. Leonard, I’ll need to let you know and have a proper understanding of how an erecti0n is formed, to enable you get the picture of what I have to say” the doctor began.

“Achieving an erecti0n is a complex process involving psychological impulses from the brain (psychosocial prompts), adequate levels of testosterone, a functioning nervous system, and an adequate and healthy vascular system. A simple history check, exam and lab work can rule out physiological causes, but what about the psychosocial causes that play a large role in achieving and maintaining erections?” Dr. Carlos asked

“Okay!” Leonard said, urging him to spill whatever he had to say promptly. Vince had his hand around Leonard’s shoulders, doing his best to show him support.

“There are three different types of erecti0ns. The first one is a nocturnal erecti0n that occurs during sleep. Another is a reflexive erecti0n due to physical stimulation. And the third one is a psychogenic erecti0n, caused by visual or mental images. All three involve healthy bodily functions including hormones, muscles, blood vessels, nervous system and emotion regulation. So Mr. Leonard, you can see clearly that one’s emotional state plays a major role in the process of gaining and retaining an erecti0n” Dr Carlos said.

“There are a number of psychological factors that can cause Erect!le Dysfunction, but lets talk about indifference resulting from traumatic experiences” he said, pausing to be sure he had Leonard’s attention.

When indifference causes Erect!le Dysfunction, it usually has to do with your partner, low testosterone, depression, trust issues with the partner or disinterest/lack of connection with the sxxual partner. And this my friend, is the problem with you?” he announced.

“Doctor, is this to say that I’d never be able to get it on around my wife? Because like I told you before, I have forgiven my wife, and I’ve been doing my best to get down with her since then” Leonard complained.

“Mr. Leonard, have you truly forgiven her? Have you been able to get the image of the man on top your wife away from your mind? Have you been able to forget the fact that they were truly doing it when you got in there?” Dr Carlos asked him, making Leonard place his left palm on his forehead on impulse.

“You see my friend, you’d need to first have to erase the image your brain has carefully stored in your subconsciousness. Your heart is telling you to get on with your wife, but unfortunately, your head keeps telling you some things you may not want to tell anyone. Deep within you, you may be worried about how she’d feel if you end up not making her feel as hot as the dude had done, you have unconsciously defeated yourself in your heart, leading to another cause of ED, low self-esteem esteem” he paused to take a look at Leonard, and the look on his face confirmed this postulation, so he went on.

“I know it’s not easy, but Leonard, a man has got to be a man. You need to build your self esteem and remember the times when you made her so happy that she chose you over the other competitors for the forever journey. You need to consciously put that image away from your mind, get your head to agree with your heart that she didn’t intend to do what she did” he advised Leonard.

“If it’s possible, get permission from your work place and take your wife for a vacation. Spend time with her and do all you can to rekindle the fire that had kept you two before this unfortunate twist of events” he suggested.

Vince and Leonard thanked the doctor profoundly and stepped out of the office. They were happy that it had nothing to do with medical complications, at least this issue didn’t have to be a matter of much concern. The solution lay with Leonard, and he knew just what to do to help himself and his wife.

“I’m happy this doesn’t have anything to do with medical complications my friend” Vince told him, hugging him happily as they stood by his car.

“Believe me Vince, that doctor almost made me have a heart attack waiting for him to say what he had to say. I’m going to have to ask Tricia for my annual leave as soon as I’m done with this project with Falcoon LTD. Thanks Vince for standing by me” he told his new found friend, before they headed out .

Elsewhere, Vivian was cooking her husband’s favourite meal. She was dressed in a super hot short and a crop top. It was already evening, and she knew her husband would pop in any moment.

She placed the food on the dining table, brought out the candles and the other things she had prepared for the night. She wanted so bãdly to make her husband see how much she had missed him, and how in love she still was with him.

“Darling!” Vivian squealed with joy as Leonard peeked into the kitchen. When he got into the house, he heard the clattering of plates in the kitchen, telling him that his wife was busy in the kitchen.

Warmth rose in his heart as he saw her smiling so sweetly at him. “How are you baby?” he asked beaming with unfathomable joy.

“Been working all day long; so tired and exhausted, but I’ll be better once I have you standing next to me” she slurred and Leonard found his legs carrying him to her sides. His eyes on the parts of her knockers that kept peeping from the down of her crop top.

And when he was a few steps away from him, she jumped on him, making her slender legs circle around his waist. His hands had impulsively gone out to hold her waist, pulling her to himself.

“I love you darling. I miss you so badly; I cooked all day, thinking about the last time you rocked me crazy” she sēduced him, k!ssing him as she spoke.

“I miss you too baby. I miss the scream of my name when I touch you like this” he told her as he put her on the kitchen table, to enable his hands peruse her body, letting his hand assess those places that had been peeking out of her top. Their mouth got locked in that instant, their tongues joyfully tangling.

Impulses from the brain and local nerves caused the muscles of Leonard’s corpora cavernosa to relax, allowing blood to flow in and fill the open spaces. The blood created pressure in the corpora cavernosa, making his shaft expand and creating an erecti0n.

“Woah” he thought as he felt his small man throbbing in his trousers. He intensified the kisses, with the intent of making it a memorable first time after the storm.

Vivian was feeling out of the world. She could feel his hardness prodding on her as he fondled her the more. But as soon as Leonard unzipped his trousers, letting the little man that had been crying for freedom out, his heart skipped a beat, as the image came flashing again.

He saw it again, Vivian was under the macho looking guy, screaming, just as she was doing while he tickled her a moment ago. “No! Not again!” he thought as he felt his phallus gradually rescinding.

The tunica albuginea (the membrane surrounding the corpora cavernosa), that helped to trap the blood in the corpora cavernosa, sustaining the erecti0n was fast losing it’s job. The erecti0n was getting reversed as the muscles in his phallus contracted, stopping the inflow of blood and opening outflow channels.

And this time, Vivian couldn’t hold the scream of frustration that escaped her mouth when she noticed that he had lost the erecti0n he had only been able to create after so long.

Vivian had done her best to keep the disappointment she was feeling within, but that night, with him having been able to work up an erecti0n and still lose it even before they got busy, she was beginning to agree that there wasn’t going to be joy in their union ever again.

“Baby, it’s going to be alright…” he started, but she cut in impatiently. “no Leonard, it’s not going to be okay. For how long have you been saying this?” Vivian cried, trying to break loose from his tight embrace.

“I saw a doctor today my love. We’re going to get back to how we used to be soon baby. I’ve already been given the solution” he told her pleadingly.

When Vivian heard that he had taken the important step of seeking medical help, her heart melted, she felt a wave of some sort of emotions she couldn’t explain.

“I hope so darling. I sincerely hope so. I’m dying to have us back. I’m a woman, I have needs and I feel so sad that the spark is gone with the desires” she lamented as she leaned on her husband.

“Trust me baby, it’s going to be okay” he told her, kissed her lightly on her forehead and walked out of the kitchen. He needed to finish up the work he had brought home. He knew the vacation was going to take him away from work , so he needed to tie all loose ends before he left.

He had spoken with Tricia when he returned to the office with Vince, and they had eagerly agreed for him to get the leave he was asking for, to enable him join them on a vacation they had planned for the weekend.

So it was that on that day, they all set out for the trip. Vivian was all shades of happy as she thanked Valerie and Tricia for all they had done to help her save her marriage. Anyone looking at Vivian and the two sisters as they conversed would confuse the trio for happy sisters.

Vivian was very happy to see that her husband was doing his best to get them back in shape. She had seen a doctor who has lectured her on things she needed to do to help her husband overcome the ED, and one of the major things he had suggested was a vacation, but she had been sure her husband wouldn’t be able to leave his work to get on a vacation trip with her. So seeing how his new found friends were vacationing with them, she felt so free and happy.

Now, not only had Tricia made it happen, she had made the trip an all-expense-paid trip. She had together with Vince financed the trip that was indeed set to change things forever.

Valerie had initially refused to join them on the trip, but her sister was worried about her being left alone since their parents were yet to return from her trip, and had insisted that she joined them.

“What kind of trip do you think it’s going to be for me? What would I be doing while you guys display all the love you have for your partners? Now I really wish I have a boyfriend. If I had known this day would come, I could have chosen one out of those numerous clowns chasing me about” she said looking very unhappy

“What nonsensê are you spewing Val? So you’d have settled for someone you don’t like just to meet up with pressure from people who won’t feel the pain of being with the wrong person with you?” She had asked her, making Valerie regret what she had said.

“And Val, isn’t it about time you got yourself a boyfriend? Are you planning on remaining single forever?” Tricia had asked her while they were at it.

“I’ve really not found that special someone. You know how it is with me sis. The moment I find him, you’ll be first to know “she consoled her sister.

So having convinced her sister to go on the vacation with them, Tricia made sure she was happy all through. She kept pitching Leonard and Vince in discussions to avail her the opportunity to go be with the girls.
