The Next morning when I woke up Penny was not on my bed . One of the reasons we’ve been good so far . She knows her limits and is not looking for anything serious .

I looked at the cupboard and noticed a short note under a brewing cup of coffee .

” I’ll see you later poo bear “I dropped the note and strolled out of my room In my sweatpants.

My phone pinged with a text from Uriel informing me of the arrival of the chefs and my absence in the meeting.

Wait I missed the meeting .

” Fvck “I cursed under my breath as I checked the time . It was already 10 ;am in the morning and the meeting was supposed to start by 8:00 am . I scrolled through my contact list and called Uriel .

” Mr Pierre “he said and I sighed softly .

” What was her reaction ? “I asked bitting my lower lip .

” Suprisingly miss Williams didn’t say anything but it was quite evident that she didn’t like what you did “he said and I sighed.

” I’ll just freshen up and join her at the venue ” i said and ended the call . Making a quick breakfast for myself . I changed into something casual and decided to leave for the venue we were supposed to meet with both our teams .

” Youre welcome Mr Schmitt”her assistant said leading me into the open space .

” Boss “Uriel said walking over to me .

” Where is she ? “I asked and stopped on my tracks when I noticed her talking to the appointed chefs for the wedding contract.

My eyes trailed her outfit and my nose raised in annoyance . This girl won’t be the end of me . She was wearing a white Polo shirt and shorts that left little to imagination . She had leg chains on and her big behind attracted male attention . Her hair was exposed making me notice the fact that she tinted it for the first time .

“I will talk to her myself “I said to Uriel and he looked at me with eyebrows raised . Ignoring him , I walked over to her . Sent my hand around her waist from behind .

She didn’t stop to see who was doing that . She scrolled through her Working pad as she gave them different instructions .

” Good morning Mr Smith”she said without looking at me and I raised my eyebrows.

” It’s surprising that you know I’m the one without even looking”I said and she raised her eyes in my direction.

” You’re the only Adam that has the nerves to do what you just did . ” She said and i chuckled .

” Adam ? I asked in amusement.

” Every man is an Adam . Don’t argue with me “she said and I just laughed at her logic . Biblically it was recorded that the first man created by God was called Adam .

” You go to church ? “I asked teasingly.

” It’s not a big deal , even the devil goes to church “she said and I chuckled .

” Tega ” i called .

” Pierre ” she answered without looking in my direction.

“I’m sorry I came late . I was kinda busy “I said and she laughed.

” I know “she said making me feel guilty . Tega can be so calm sometimes that it’s so scary .

” Let me treat you to lunch ” i said and she stared at me .

” Why are you suddenly so caring ? It’s kinda suspicious “she said and i rubbed my jaws in amusement.

” Since when did it become a crime to be caring towards a beautiful lady ? “I asked and she laughed .

” Pierre we have work at hand . ” She said and handed me a file .

” Josh ” she said and just like that she was off talking to the workers . I stared at her swaying backside and sneakers .

” Breathe out Sir “Uriel said and I glared at him as he laughed.

” I was not staring “I denied immediately .

” Ah , i believe you were not staring sir ” Uriel said and I laughed .

” This girl is fine ” i said and he looked at me in amusement.

” You should be weary of her sir . She looks like an unseriose woman. Someone that would never want to settle down . If you fall inlove with this woman you’re doomed “he warned .

” Who is talking about falling inlove ? “I asked and he shook his head .

” We never know what we want untill we loose it . Love doesn’t ask who ? When or where. It just hits us ” He said and I gave a nod.

Arguing will only make the conversation more lengthy . I’m only interested in what she has to offer in the bedroom . Aside that I’m not ready for anything serious .

I don’t think I’m capable of loving anyone anyways so why waste anyone’s time.

” Pierre “I heard my name and turned . She waved at me to come over and I chuckled .

” Goodluck “Uriel said beside me .

” Hey “I said playfully as I sent my hand around her waist. Hugging her from behind.

Pierre is a touchy guy and when he likes a woman’s body , he’s protective and touchy . I didn’t stop him for some odd reason .

My phone rang and it was Efe . He hasn’t called for a few days and I wasn’t even expecting his call . I picked his call and gestured towards Pierre to escuse me .

” Efe “I said immediately I picked the call .

” Are you really gonna let mama die due to your stubbornness Tega . “He asked calmly .

” I no get mama Efe { i don’t have a mother Efe }” I said in pigin as my voice shook In annoyance.

” Tega !” He said in anger .

“Efe I be Ashewo . Why then do you need the money of prostitute ? I have dirty money right ? Why then should I spend the same dirty money on that woman after the hell y’all put me through ? Don’t call my number again . You can go ahead and do anything you want to do I don’t fvcking care ! “I raised my voice angrily.

Pierre’s turned to my direction with a worried expression on his face. I’m sure he heard the noise but not my words .

” Tega don’t try to act smart with me . I’ll storm your life and ruin everything you have ever built in your life “he threatened and my eyes stung with tears .

” Isn’t that what you and your mother have always been good at ? A brother is supposed to protect his sister from harms way. I’ll rather be ripped off every single member of my family than be given a family like this . ” I said and he froze on the other side.

” You think you deserve family after ruining another woman’s home Tega ? You fvcking took every attention chief was supposed to give madam Rosa . You ruined her home , and you think you deserve happiness with that fake life you have going in the internet” he said and I wiped the tears that threatened to escaped .

” This fake life can’t waste her fake money on charity . I am not a cheerful giver niether am I a philanthropist” i said angrily.

” Tega ” he said and I hanged up on him . I walked over to pierre and he stared at me .

” Are you okay ? He asked holding my hands.

“I’m up for lunch ” i said and he gave a nod .

” Okay “he said and we walked out together as I texted my assistant to take over from where I stopped.

” You good ? ” He asked camly and I gave a nod .

” Yeah . I’ve got family issues but I’m fine “I said honestly. Something I wouldn’t have said to anyone else.

” Oh . We all do “he said and I smiled before looking away .

” Where are you taking me ? I”I asked and he stared at me before handing me a clean handkerchief .

” Thanks”I said and he gave a nod .

” I don’t know yet . Do you have any favorite restaurant or something ? I’m still new to this place ” He said and I gave a nod .

” You’re a chef . Can’t you weave up something instead ? I asked and he stared at my face .

” That means going over to my place ” he said and I gave a nod .

” I’m a big girl Mr Smith “I said and he pinched the bridge of his nose .

” Schmitt”He corrected me and my eyes moved over to his curly hair . If I didn’t know better I would swear they’re artificial .

He sent his diamond laid fingers to his hair and stared at my face .

” Your focus should be on the stiring wheel “I said and he chuckled.

” Scared . Would you be my Juliet and I will be your Romeo . We can die together how about that ? He asked and I scoffed .

” Love is no longer that blind. I can’t ki*ll myself because of a man or even take a bullet because of a man . God forbid it . Na mumu dey trust man { it’s only a full that trusts men } ” I said and he stared at me in amusement.

” You’re very mean with your words Tega ” he said and I laughed.

” Can you die because of a woman Pierre ? “I asked with arms folded .

” I have never been inlove . I believe love is what has promoted many people to take that step ” He said and I scoffed in annoyance.

” Love does not exists . People only cherish something when they have something in it for them . I can’t waste my time lieing to someone that I love the person that’s sick ” I said and he fell silent for a while.

” I’ve witnessed people fall inlove . Lee and Imani have a beautiful story but then not everyone is lucky enough to find love ” He said and I didn’t argue . Lee and Imani indeed deserve all the happiness in the world after everything they have been together .

We arrived at his place and it was quiet evident that the man had money . I mean the place screamed luxury and I can say he is a neatness freak .

” Nice place”I said as we went in together and he smiled .

” Oh thanks . Mind if I get you a drink first before I make lunch ? “He asked like a perfect gentleman .

I can see why he gets in the ladies pants easily. Man knows his way around women . The sweetness could melt anyone .

“I prefer water “I said and he gave a nod as he walked towards the kitchen and returned with a tray containing clean glass . Salved a bottle of water and small chops .

” Thanks”I muttered under my breath and watched him go back to the kitchen .

My eyes trailed his sitting room and I decided to feed my eyes . I brought out my phone and started taking pictures for social media .

• Ashewo who’s innocent son are you decieving * Avy texted me immediately I updated my status .

“Avoid my what’s status Avyrll”I muttured under my breath with a chuckle .

He hasn’t returned for a while so I decided to check up on him and maybe help . Immediately I got to the entrance I was caught up by the beautiful sight of him cooking .

” Hey “I muttered under my breath and he turned and flashed me that beautiful killer smile that had butterflies in my tummy.

” Hey yyyy “He said and I bit my lower lip . Right there and then I knew I was fvcking this man sooner than I thought .
