(Gun Forest)

Adirondack Mountains★
The duo were bounded with chains, as their unconscious self were dragged into the forest. In the middle of the woods stood a cave, which had been there for centuries; a den for Don and his men’s evil deed.

Don watched from a close distance as his men do their job. He smirked, checking Jade’s phone for any reply from Kyla, he just made the call. He was very sure he would win this game by giving her a wrong location. Wizard and Jade were meant to be kept in the cave while his men at the wrong location would trap Kyla while she arrives.

“Are you sure she will come for her men, that b!tch can be heartless” Mercury noted, chewing on the gum in her mouth. He smirked. “She wouldn’t be that dumb to neglect them, except she has more trained members. Two are gone; these two are also the pillars of the clan, Loosing them will make the clan weak…so” he shrugged

“You ain’t gonna ki*ll them?” Mercury asked. He scoffed. “They all will become dead meat soon…I wanna use one stone to ki*ll two birds” he smiled, tucking his two hands into his long leathery coat. “You will stay here with these men…I will take some to the other location..the b!tch will be on her way”

She handed him his gun which he gave her earlier “Go and win the game” she muttered, tapping his chest a bit. He had the urge to grab her waist, slamming his lips on hers, but had to resist it. They are currently on a tough mission, let urges lay aside first, until the mission is complete.

She left, her swinging butt was all he stared at before retreating.

“Archu” Wizard sneezed regaining consciousness. He gasped slightly as his eyes flutter open, his mouth ajar. He stared at the nasty place he is, while trying to recollect the previous event. He was yet to notice the presence of another being in the room, as he swings from the chain which his hands are bounded to.

“Babe…babe” a voice whispered to him. It sounds like that of Jade. He gasped loudly, practically remembering the fact that she was with him. His eyes dropped on her, sitting on the floor with her hands tied behind her. She had a teary face, looking up at him.

“Jade? Oh my gawd” he let out a cry. She didn’t reply him but turn to look at a direction, with fear. He tilted his head sideward to see a figure, holding something feathery, emitting smoke from it; more like an incense. The scent might have made them sneeze, bring them out of their unconscious state.

The figure dropped it, walking closer to Jade. She pulled out a knife from the sheath behind her; Jade trembled. “Shh” she whispered, placing her index finger on her lips.

“I’m here to help” the stranger voiced out, bending forward to cut the hard robe used in binding her hands. “Argh” Jade gasp a sigh of freedom, dusting her pant as she got on her feet.

Wizard simply watched with eyes full of fury. He doesn’t know what the stranger is up to. She walk towards him, pulling down the chains as she unlock it with a key. After gaining his freedom from it, he tried retaliating, sending a punch forward which she dodge.

“Babe…stop it” Jade stood in. “She’s tryna help us” she added, gulping in. Wizard pants, glaring at the stranger, whose face is totally covered, aside the two hole in the mask, aiding her sight.

“Please Wiz, we need to hear her out..” Jade turned to the stranger with pleading eyes.

“We have no much time…follow me” she noted. Jade nodded signalling to Wizard who reluctantly agreed. They went through a narrow passage way, hearing the sound of some men chattering, in the other part of the cave. The way led them to an opening.

“Look, take this route down the left, it will take you to the main road” she noted. The duo nodded. Wizard grabbed Jade’s hand, pulling her away, but she stop to look back.

“Thanks” she muttered with a quick smile before Wizard pull her away. They were yet to take another step when a gun shot sounded, followed by a man’s angry voice. “Hey, they are escaping” he roared, firing his gun at them. They pick up their heels, dashing into the forest as rains of bullet came their way. Some men who had heard the alarm came out from their standing point, giving in to the chase.

“Keep on running..don’t stop” Wizard yelled out, holding Jade’s hand firmly. She tried keeping up the pace, a bullet pierced into her legs slowing her down.

“Arghh” she grunt, stumbling to the ground. He grabbed her. “Jade…” He called in panic. “I’m hurt…damn, my leg…harrggh” she writhe in pain.

“Shhh…it ok, dammit..hargh” he gritted, checking out the wound, which gush with blood. The other men had spread out in the dark forest, looking for them. They had heard her grunting sound, only for silent to take place. “Keep searching…don’t stop” their leader commanded.

“Wiz…wiz…” Jade cried, hitting his shoulder with her palm..”Babe…I’m sorry…. please, just let me carry you”

She shook her head, crying profusely. “No..no…I can’t continue anymore…I’m tired of all this” she sob. Wizard felt heartbroken, he felt tears welling up his eyes, but force it in, in order to act strong before her. He wouldn’t want to break down when she is already broken.

“Ok fine…let’s relax your back on that tree…okay…we will surely get out of here…we will” he assured. She agreed. He pulled her up towards a large tree, which she relaxed on, stretching out her wounded leg. He tore a part of his shirt, using it to tie the wound, to prevent too much loss of blood.

He touched her forehead to feel her temperature; she was burning up. “Damn” he mumbled. She gulped in, shivering.
“Wiz…you need to go…” “Babe..what do you mean” he questioned, keeping track of the men on chase. “You need to….go look for help…”
“No..no no…babe, I can’t leave you here…not in this condition…I can’t. ”
“You have to…I’m losing lot of blood .I’m pregnant Keith…you have to listen to me” she pleaded.
“No Jade…you are pregnant…yea…but leaving you here isn’t right…I can’t let those dogs touch you…I can’t..” he shook his head, trying hard not to cry. His face grew red, as lines of vein appeared.
“Keith….”
He pulled her into a fierce kiss, preventing her from saying more words. He doesn’t want to be convinced to leave her….he would never do so.

“Babe… I’m never gonna leave you..I will carry you out of this forest. We will both look for help, no one is leaving anyone. I love you so much that I won’t leave you in any condition. I will stand by you till the end…trust me” he assured. She smiled out tears, engaging him in another long kiss
“Come on, can you get up ..here..”

He assisted her up, carrying her in a bridal style.

“Spread out…and ki*ll whosoever you see; rescue the victims” Kyla ordered, entering into the forest with her men. Evans who had secretly followed, after being warned by Kyla not to go on the mission, disguised as one of the men, wearing a mask as he joined the crew, dashing into the forest with his revolver.

The gun battle begun as the two clans blasted the air with their bullets each, using large trees as their pillar of shade.

Wizard and Jade, on hearing the turn out of things increased their pace, stumbling to the ground, after bumping into one of the Blood Clan men. The latter made to sh00t after refining his stance only to receive a punch from wizard, who was fast to leap off the ground. Jade on the other hand struggled to her feet, trying to keep her stance. She slipped on the muddy ground, falling into the other side, which is a deep valley.

The others where still engaged in a rough fight, oblivious of her fall; her loud scream jolted Wizard, he tried fighting off the man who wouldn’t release him, being pinned to the ground by his strong fist and muscles. Wizard succeeded in kicking his ball, giving him access to stand. He picked up the man’s gun hastenly and fire several shots into his body.

“Jade….Jade?” He called out loud, searching for her. “Jade” he called out again, his voice not loud enough amid the gunshots. He tried entering into the valley but was pulled out by someone.

“Hey…do you wanna die” one of the guards in Wolves Clan who knows Wizard muttered, dragging him off the pit hole.

Wizard yanked his hand off him after recognizing him. He ruffled his hair breaking into tears.
“Jade is down there…I think she slip…oh gawd.”

“Hey…pull yourself together..we are still on the Blood den. There is a shorter route to go down there…boss is here to rescue you both…come on.”
He was pulled up as they both take another route.

Evans’ POV
I corked my gun, walking down silently towards the path I took. The sound of gunshots from the other men filled my eardrum as I make my way through the valley. A large object, suddenly rolled down from the hill, crashing into a large log of wood , few meters away from where I stood. My heart leapt into my mouth, as cold chill struck my spine.

I moved towards it, making no sound in my steps. My mouth went ajar as the ray from the moon shone bright to aid my sight.

“Jade…” I called out on seeing her face. She was bleeding profusely from the side of her head, and her leg too. “My gawd …Jade…Jade” I called out in panic, feeling her pulse to know if she is still alive. My ears pricked to the sound of rusty leaves, raising my head up to view a gun pointed at my head.

“Hey….pretty boy” he voiced out, corking the gun. Justin. I gulped in, finding a way to get my gun

“Try that and consider yourself dead.” He threatened, already reading my mind. “Justin” I called.

“You have decided to be the good boy right? Fighting for that b!tch that doesn’t worth a thing when you are supposed to fight back, revenge your father’s death.” He snapped, closing up the distance. I stood to my feet, slightly watching Jade’s unmoving body. He looked down at her and smirked.

“Marshal isn’t my father” I voiced out. His face hardened. He was about speaking when one of the Blood clan members came forward.

“Pick up the girl and take her to Don” he ordered the man, who nod, picking up Jade into him arms. I tried stopping him but couldn’t, Justin will blow my head within a sec
“Justin please… stop doing this…”

He laughed. ” Oh…you wanna take her as a second b!tch right? I’m sure you are fking her too, just the same way you fk Kyla”
I couldn’t reply but gulp.
“You were once for us….why are you supporting the Blood Clan?” I snapped.

“Because that’s where I belong, that’s where I was trained, that’s where I should be instead of being a f**king spy in your clan” he yelled. “And the one you rejected as your father is my father” he revealed. I scoff, not wanting to believe what he just said. Perhaps he is high on drugs

“You are joking right?”

“Do I look like I’m joking to you….we are three brothers, but you, decided to be the Judas, going after pu$$y and a$$ instead of fighting for your father. That b!tch took you as a puppet, made you suffer, treated you like trash, but what did you do….you gave her your d**k…free of charge…you worship her…instead of being a king in your palace, you are being a slave.”
I feel like all his is saying is true…but how.

“I am from another mother…just like you. And you wanna know the f**king truth, Dad gave me the assignment to watch over you in the clan, on hearing that you were taken by Kyla.

I didn’t tell you about my identity because it wasn’t necessary…Don hated me, just the same way as he does to you….but we can work together, and haunt him down, claim our dad’s properties and enjoy life to the fullest. Just join me Evans” he proposed.
I sighed

“What are you going to do with Jade?” I asked. He smirked. “She is mine now….you have Kyla, join me, and have Jade back.” I allowed silence to take over first, before giving my reply.

“I will never join you Justin…not you, not the Blood Clan, or ever recognize your dad as my father. He is a murderer. But trust me, Kyla will come for Jade, even if I can’t get her back”
Justin’s face shows fury, as he smirked devilishly.

“Fine…but you know what we do to betrayers…we blow their f**king skulls. You will be the first.”
He pulled the trigger, as I close my eyes, expecting a hit but felt nothing, only heard loud groans

My eyes flutter open, looking towards the ground. Justin could be seen writhing on the floor, while a gun was pointed at him. He was shot instead by….. Raphael?

“You bas***d…you were never a good friend. You will die by his hand…come on Evans” Raphael called. I gasp, picking up my gun.

“I can’t belief you tried to ki*ll me Justin…” I noted. He chuckled, grabbing his bleeding leg.
“You ain’t worth living….” He snapped, not feeling remorse
“Blow off his head Evans” Raphael noted. I really don’t like to get my hands stained

“You ain’t gonna ki*ll me..will you” he taunt. “Do it Evans” Raphael gritted

Justin made a move to pick his gun, I cork mine, firing a straight shot into his forehead. He drop dead to the ground. I felt my pulse rise above normal, I just killed somebody. My step brother.

“Good shot bro” Raphael hailed, spatting on Justin’s corpse.

“Jade….they got Jade….” I manage to speak after the long shock

“Let’s go get her…” He simply noted, turning on the connection of his mouthpiece as he speaks into it.

Kyla had been told about Wizard being found, she had ordered the guard to hypnotize him, since he is proving stubborn..wanting to find Jade at all cost. Jade is the next victim they haven’t found. According to Raphael, he mentioned something about Evans’ testimony of her being captured and taken to Don.

She was beginning to wonder how Evans got into the van with them. The fight is getting tough, as Hades and Don have arrive with their men, adding to that toxicity of the gun fight. She made her way down the path that led to the cave, having a hunch that Jade will be held up there; although her men will be close by soon, for back up.

Mercury on the other hand had apprehended Amazon after finding out she was the one behind the duo’s escape. She sent message to Don telling him of the changes, ordering the men about.

She walked down Kyla’s track as they meet on same point, facing each other, with their guns on point.
“This is such a long way to come, Lady Mafia” Mercury smirked
