Chapter 31
Babe’s POV
We arrived the Mansion earlier than I expected. The magnificent building almost took my breath away. I couldn’t help gawk at everything I come across. Aside that, the workers are also cool. Well, I speak for all of them yet, but the maid who led me to my room is really nice.

I love her manner of approach and how she welcomed me, we might become friends later on, I wish we would, cos I don’t want to be lonely here. She introduced herself as Samantha, I think I will call her Sam.

The other workers didn’t physically approach me, but watched from afar, though, non have this snarling look on, they all wore bright faces.

I settle down finally after touring my room for a while. The room design is perfect in all area, I can’t help but smile each time I look around. The bathroom is top notch, damn, who wouldn’t wanna work in such a comfortable environment, earning so much with less stress.

If truly that ex-nanny was sacked, then she would surely miss more than a lot. I hope this wasn’t her room. I decided to take a quick nap only to be woken up by a knock on the door. I yawn loudly, getting off the bed to get it.

“Hi ma’am” Samantha greeted, just after I opened the door. I smiled out. “Just call me Babe” I noted. She shrugged.

“Ok Babe ..” she chuckled. “What? Does is sound weird to you” I asked smiling. She shook her head. “Nah…just that, I call my bf babe ..so it sounds…come on, let’s not talk about that. Boss is around, and he needs to see you” she muttered. I gasped.

“Really, damn ..can I go like this…I mean, I literally slept off on my first day of work…did he get pissed that….”

“Come on Babe…you are perfectly fine…I think he wanna introduce you to Angel. And you look good like this” she replied honestly ..she’s such a darling
“Thanks Sam…I will be there now”

“Dad…I can’t wait to see the surprise you have for me” Angel spoke up, just after freshening up. You have to finish eating your lunch, come on…here” He shove the spoon into her mouth. She giggled, chewing on the food. They are currently at the dinning room, having lunch.

Afterward, he sent for Babe. She came in just in time, walking down the stairs. He really doesn’t allow his workers to live on the same block as he, but this time around, he allowed for Babe’s room to be beside Angel’s room. He wouldn’t afford living his child alone upstairs when he isn’t around.

He looked up at her as she takes gentle strides, perhaps not wanting to fall. He chuckled. Angel, who seem oblivious of her presence kept playing with her Teddy Bear.
“Good afternoon Boss” she greeted, on arriving the ground floor. He simply nod
“Welcome” His eyes wander round her dress, she looks cute partially, but the dress is looking odd, he feel like it’s too big to be worn around.

He turned towards his daughter, giving her a light touch. “Hey .Angel” he called out. The latter turn to him with her Teddy, shoving it into his arms, giggling. He smiled
“Angel…I want you to meet someone”

“Who..” Her eyes landed on Babe just after she turned, and without waiting for her dad’s response, she leapt from the chair, spreading her arms into the air as she ran forward to hug Babe.

“Miss Babe” her little voice rang out in glee. Babe chuckled, crutching to her level to hug her.

“Miss Babe, you came to visit me…did you bring any of your delicacies?” She asked. Babe looked up at Luciano, seeking permission to speak. He spoke up instead.

“You should have waited for me to be done with my speech, Angel. Come” she went back towards him, her face getting dull.

“You see dear…after your last Nanny left, I decided to get you another one…so Miss Babe here will be your new nanny” he noted. “Arghh” she gasped in shock.
“Really” “huhn”

She turned to give her dad a tight hug. “Thank you dad, that you for choosing Miss Babe…I love you so much”

He chuckled at her, being dramatic. “I love you too baby, so here she is now, and like the usuals, you go to her, tell her your dos and don’ts so as for her to have it in mind…”
“Don’t worry dad, there is no need for that, Miss Babe is my friend…she wouldn’t do what I don’t like” Angel replied. “But…”
She didn’t wait for him to finish speaking before going to grab Babe’s hand “Come on, let me show your my room”

Babe looked at Luciano for permission to leave, he moved his finger, shrugging while she follows Angel upstairs.

He wonders what Babe has done to his daughter to make her love her this much. Angel will always give people her rules, but she neglected it for her love for Babe.

Harry’s POV
I finally tied the knot with Florencia about a month ago, and my life has been a f**king hell. I can’t believe she will change for real, from the sweet lady I know to a naggy witch. But it’s just a matter of time this marriage will be over sooner.

Without the knowledge of dad, I decided to start up a company in Canada which is making progress already. With the shares I have gotten from other companies, I believe mine will be the talk of town soon.

My marriage to Florencia isn’t in vein though, I gat a share of her dad’s property, adding to that I gat from dad. I’ve been a daddy’s boy for a long time; the billionaire’s tag I have on, isn’t working for me. Dad made me who I am today, and can as well take all from me at the snap of his finger.

A very crook politician, who does things his own way. He divorced mum while I was a young age, and got married to the woman who almost ruined me. If dad takes everything from me, I will become a nobody in this family. So working out something for myself is the best. I will moving to Canada soon, to start a new life, breaking the marriage..to hell with it.

If luck would be on my side, I would find Babe. I heard from one of my source that she left for Canada. I just don’t know the state, still making research.
