Mercedes p.o.v

I rubbed my hands feeling nervous as I stood at the front of the mirror. A very nervous lady was looking at me. I sighed as I tried to fix my wedding dress.

“You will be fine sweetheart.” Alessandro’s mother assured me.

“What if I miss a step and trip off?” I questioned as an image of that happening flashed through my mind.

Alessandro’s mom giggled at my words.

“No dear. You won’t trip off. Such thing won’t happen.” She said while smiling softly.

“You look so beautiful Mercedes.” Christina said as she walked into the room.

“Thank you and you look beautiful as well.” I said in a low voice.

“I have told you to relax Mercedes. You don’t need to be scared. Everything will be alright.” Christina said as she hugged me and I wrapped my hands around her.

Alessandro’s father entered the room.

“Are you ready dear?” He asked while smiling at me.

Everyone agreed that Alessandro’s father will walk with me down to the aisle.

“No.” I stated while fiddling with my fingers.

“Don’t mind her. She is ready.” Christina said as everyone laughed and I glared at her.

She quickly turned her face away from mine.

“Let’s go Mercedes, we don’t want to keep your husband to be waiting.” Alessandro’s father said and I blushed as I remembered that Alessandro will be legally mine today.

I nodded slightly and take a look at my wedding dress once again.

“You look so amazing, Mercedes. Don’t worry. I’m sure when Alessandro set his eyes on you, he won’t be able to take off his eyes away from you.” Alessandro mom said after noticing my nervousness.

I smiled slightly and everyone stepped out of the room, leaving I and Alessandro’s father.

“I’m so glad to have you as a daughter in law.”

“I feel blessed knowing that you are my father in law.”

After smiling at each other, we walked towards the aisle.

I looked around the auditorium and it was so pretty.

Alessandro did a good job.

I love it!

I looked at the aisle and my eyes got bless with the most handsome man in the world looking at me with so much love and affection in his eyes.

The word beautiful is an understatement to describe how my baby look like when I saw her walking towards me.

She looks so beautiful in her wedding gown.

She really looked so beautiful. I could sense that beautiful aura around her that made me fell in love with her. I am so grateful that someone as selfless like her loves me.

My dad and my sweetheart got to the altar and I reached out my hands towards her.

My dad took Mercedes hand and placed it on my hand while smiling at me.

“Take care of her son. She is a rare gem and I’m glad that she is going to be your wife. Treasure her and treat her well.” My dad adviced while patting my back.

“You don’t need to tell me dad. I will treasure her with my life dad.” I said before turning to look at the priest.

“Alessandro, I’m so nervous. What if I say something I’m not suppose to say?” Mercedes whispered to me.

“Relax babe. You will be fine.” I muttered as I squeezed her hand trying to ease the tension in her.
