We reached the hotel and got out.

“I booked a party hall in this hotel baby.” Alessandro said as he helped me got out of the car.

“Thank you Alessandro.”I said as he smiled at me.

“It’s just the beginning love. Let’s go.”he said kissing my cheek.

We entered the hall and my eyes widened in shock as I looked at the beautiful decorations.

“It’s so stunning Alessandro. I am at loss of words. Thank you so much. I love you.”I said jumping into his arms and hugged him tightly.

“It totally my pleasure baby “he whispered and kissed my neck.

“Happy Birthday Mercedes.”everyone yelled as we entered the hall.

I flinched as everyone clapped along with Alessandro’s mom and dad with Andrea.

My eyes glistened with tears.

This is the family I needed in my life.

People who loves me dearly and care for me.

“Thank you so much guys.”I said and ran towards them.

I hugged each and everyone of them as they wished me.

“Now let’s cut the cake.” Christina said holding the box.

I smiled and nodded.

She opened the box revealing a beautiful cake.

“Wowww.”everyone clapped as they praised Santiago and Christina for the cake.

They thanked everyone.

“Thank you so much. This cake is the best in the world.”I said hugging them both.

“Always welcome Mercedes.”they said smiling.

I cut the cake as everyone sanged and clapped happily while feeding me cake.

Alessandro fed me a bite and kissed my cheek.

“Happy Birthday my beautiful angel.”he whispered and I smiled at him hugging him.

“Let’s give the gifts.” Vera said smiling.

“This is from us. Happy Birthday Mercedes.” Christina said excitedly standing close to a smiling Tristan.

“Happy Birthday Mercedes. I hope you will like the gift.”

I thanked them and opened the box.

It was an amazing shining wrist watch.

“It’s amazing. Thank you so much.”I said smiling at them.

They smiled.

“This is from us.” Leonardo and Vera said while smiling as they handed me a box.

I smiled and opened it revealing a stylish bomber jackets.

“Thank you so much.”I said smiling.

“This is from me. This is small but I hope you will like it.” Santiago said smiling.

I opened the box.

“It so pretty and beautiful. Thank you so much”I said smiling as I admired the beautiful locket.

“I know that you love swans so much so I thought of buying this locket.” Santiago said smiling.

“Thank you so much.”I said kissing his cheek.

“This is from us sweetie.” Alessandro’s mom said smiling.

I took the box from her as I smiled and opened it.

“It’s looking so comfy and pretty. Thank you so much.”I smiled as she kissed my cheek.

“Now my gift.” Alessandro said.

“Alessandro, you did all this. There is no need of another gift.”i said to him as I tugged his arm.

“No baby. We are left with the main gift. Vera let’s get the gift. Please close your eyes.” Alessandro said.

“Why?”I asked.

“Just wait.”he said walking with Vera.

Christina covered my eyes and I rubbed my hands with anticipation.

“Ready baby…. Christina let her open her eyes.”I hear Alessandro’s saying.

Christina’s removed her hands from my eyes and I opened my eyes slowly.

I covered my mouth with my hands as I stared at the most adorable thing in the world.

The cutest little puppy in Alessandro’s hand looking at me while tilting his head.

“Oh my goodness Alessandro, she is so adorable and cute Alessandro.”I ran towards them as he handed me the little puppy.

“Hey little one.”I said nuzzling my nose in her soft fur.

Then I noticed the little tag on her neck.

I held it and read the message on the tag.

I gasped and tears gathered in my eyes.

That tag said

‘ will you marry me? ‘

Vera took the puppy from my hands and I looked at Alessandro with tearful eyes.

“Is this real?”I asked in a low voice.

“Ofcourse baby. Although I have asked you before but I wanted to ask you officially in front of everyone.”he told me as he cupped my cheeks.

“So what’s your answer baby? Will you be my life time partner? Will you stay by my side till death do us apart?”he asked caressing my cheek softly.

“Ofcourse i will Alessandro. I love you so much.”I said while hugging him as I wrapped my hands around his neck.

He wrapped hands around me and twirled me in the air.

I giggled.

My heart was filled with love and joy.

Everyone cheered and clapped as they congratulated us.

I looked around me to see everyone laughing and smiling in happiness.

My heart swelled with happiness.

This is what family looked like.

“Alessandro, I have never had a proper family but when I see us together, I feel like this is my precious family.”I said holding his hand.

“We are all family angel. Everyone care and love each other.”he said and kissed my forehead.

“Thank you for giving me such a great family Alessandro. I will stay by your side for the rest of our lives. I love you.”I said smiling at him and kissed his cheek.

“I love you too baby. I will protect you and take care of you.”he said smiling and pecked my lips.

We admired everyone as they chat with each other and laughed happily.
